Very cozy

The location is amazing! The cabin itself was not great. Aside from being very "cozy", the floors are sloped, the bed was really springy, the shower is made for people no taller than 5'10" and drains unbelievably slowly if you run the shower continuously and the toilet isnt fully attached to the floor. We figured it all out with no major issues, and we have some funny stories and memories, for sure.

Check in was an absolute nightmare, I don't even have the time here to explain, just know it took 2 hours to get checked in with multiple trips back and forth and so much waiting and wrong keys and no one knows where the key is. It's important to know before you book that there is no one on sight if you have problems. Oh and no cell service, and to cap it off the Internet didn't work either, which all sounds fine until you literally can't get into your cabin and there's no one there. The property is dated and small. I don't need modern amenities, but at least update the bedding from the 30 year old polyester quilt. I'm a tall human and it felt cramped. Parking is cramped. Location is about the only thing going here.

This is a dog rental. Even if I had dogs, I wouldn't stay here with them. Fumigation odors were overwhelming for humans, let alone animals. Walking around the bed to get to a bathroom with no door is not rustic, it is run down. Hard to keep a counter clean when the Formica is wearing off.
