Oh man… let’s start with the positives: staff were friendly, the location is great by the bay and it felt safe. The negatives: no cold water in the bathroom sink (the pipes weren’t even hooked up), there was a mess of hair in the bottom of the shower upon arrival wing with mildew in the grout, the shower water pressure was awful but the drain had difficulty draining so water would pool up, the pleather chair was peeling apart, there was food splatters on the cabinet doors in the kitchen, the day of check out we were without power in the kitchen for quite some time making it difficult to make breakfast for the kids - this was due to a breaker being tripped but service staff was slow to respond, I left a message, spoke with someone in person and finally 45 minutes later they were able to figure out which breaker it was. Also, we were still getting our stuff out (a few obvious things were lm the counter when you walk in) and while my child was using the bathroom the housekeeping staff went in and started cleaning. It wasn’t even check out time yet. It’s sad because I used to stay here as a kid and have fond memories. The place has really gone downhill and I would no recommend staying here.

Loved the balcony view! Room small but comfortable and clean. Only drawback was we got there early, hoping maybe early check in but the office was closed till 4pm. Check in tho fast and easy. Also it wasnt right on beach as described, the path down was steep looked not safe. But there is a beach nearby with easy access.

Room was spacious and clean, mattress needs updating. Room I booked stated it had a private balcony, which my room did not. However having a full kitchen was very nice.

Pros & Cons

Pros: nice staff, loved the location, felt cozy, plenty of parking, pet friendly, overall felt pretty clean minus the stained sheets which bugged me, bed was super comfortable, good room setup (though- ditch the rug under the table or replace, its outdated and kinda gross and brings the rest of the cozy feel down), good wifi Cons: stained sheets, ant issue- couldn't leave food or drinks by windows, kitchen lacking some essentials- like toaster, juice pitcher, and a baking sheet that actually fits in the oven... we brought meals we had to cook in the stovetop pans in the oven because the baking sheet wouldn't actually fit, clogged shower, biggest con and a safety issue: there were no screens on windows... dog or child could run out on the roof below or fall to the street. It got hot at night and with no AC, we woulda left the window open but it wasn't safe with our doggos, so it got uncomfortable. General suggestion/ neither pro nor con: a broom kept in the room, so we could sweep sand and/or dog hair out during our stay

Enjoy the View Somewhere Else

Worst most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. It wasn't even close to level. The pillows were equally dot sh*t. The room was on the bottom floor under the deck in the advertised picture which meant I had people directly above me on the deck making nose all night. Super thin walls and you can hear everything, if anyone above or adjacent uses the restroom you will wake up. Would not recommend.

This motel was filthy and run down! We had to have staff clean before we stayed! Ice machine was broken and everything was old and run down. Sooo disappointed!

Very run down and shabby, but not chic. The mattress was worn down, so that you rolled to the middle. The bed was in a windowless room. Nice ocean view though, enjoyed the sunset. Wouldn’t stay again.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Staff were amazing! Even though we didn’t even meet any of them! Communication was great! They mailed my husbands license to him as it was left/lost there. We’ve already been talking about our next trip. Actually hoping to be able to make it within the next few weeks. And we plan staying here again, without a doubt! Highly recommend! ♥️

I paid over 200 for this room. It had a bay view but from the pictures I was expecting more privacy from the room. The room was literally a door off a road. All night long the upstairs neighbors were moving furniture. Check in was crazy. No one was in the office at 6 pm. We had to call and try to find someone. Not worth the price.
