We couldn’t have had a nicer stay. What a beautiful house and location was really quiet. Not far from the beach and if you are wanting to get away, this is your place.

Love Neskowin

Spent a fabulous week in Stars and Stripes. This was our second stay. Loved the whole experience. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away!!

This house was clean and in a quiet location. It had most of the amenities in the kitchen that you would need to do most cooking things. The location was about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach on a quiet gravel road through the neighborhood. I appreciated that they provided firewood (even though we didn't use it), beach toys, towels and chairs. It was a comfortable stay thank you!

Fantastic home and stay

What a perfect home for our escape to the coast. The house has tons of amenities that often are lacking in other rentals - shampoo, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. Loads of sleeping options and super kid and pet friendly - while also being spotlessly clean. Easy walk to the beach through a quaint and quiet community. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hosts were very proactive with communication and we felt relaxed and welcome. Five stars all around.

Nice and quiet

The home was nice a bit dated and could use a new bbq, as the one there wouldn’t heat up enough to grill steaks and very dirty. The kitchen could use a few more things, ie, pizza pan and more serving, storing bowls. But other than that it was a fun place to hang out.

Wonderful house, great location, fabulous backyard

As a dog owner, it's hard to find clean, comfortable and convenient houses that allow dogs. But this house ticked all those boxes AND, EVEN BETTER, has a fully fenced yard! So no walking the dogs down the street in my bathrobe every morning! The beds were comfortable (no worn out mattresses!). The kitchen is big and easy to work in. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. It's an easy walk to the beach. We will be back!

Basically OK, one shower had no pad on the floor, safety issue. Gas Grill was dirty from last user. TV hard to setup, change channels, watch programs. There was no listing of what was in the kitchen. No coffee bean grinder. No information provided how to find property coming from North or South on Hiwy 101. Once off of 101, directions were easy. Overall we would rate our stay as 4.

Musty mildew smell overpowered my stay.

The smell was intolerable. Until I went to bed for the night and was kept awake for hours with mice (?) running through the walls and curling. I was left having to find a new place to stay on my own as I could not tolerate the smell and the mice. Fantastic neighborhood and location. Interior of home needs some love. Outdated. But seriously - take care of the moldy smell and the rodents.
