Welcome to Stillwater, a spacious 5-bedroom original holiday shack with four bedrooms being in the main house and one bedroom in the granny flat. Positioned in a fantastic location, directly across from the stunning waters of Nelson Bay beach.
Each bedroom bears its unique charm; evenly distributed amongst the single-floor layout. The main house bathroom has a step-in glass shower, toilet and vanity and there is also a second toilet located externally.
An open plan living / dining area is fitted with a split system air conditioner to keep you cool in the summer while our capable heating system guarantees warmth on cooler days. An expansive lounge area, equipped with a TV and a DVD player, provides ample entertainment options for night-time relaxation and sensational water views.
The main house has a fully fitted kitchen with complementary appliances such as a microwave oven, stove, toaster, and family size fridge/ freezer, ready to assist in whipping up mouthwatering dinners. There is also a kitchenette in the Granny Flat with Don't forget to take advantage of the outdoor gas BBQ plate if alfresco dining is your preference!
The air-conditioned (cooling facilities only) granny flat which is perfect for older teenagers or the extended family. It is fully self-contained and located at the rear of the property, it provides a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, bench-top mini oven with two hot plates plus dining for 4 guests. The open plan bedroom is equipped with a tri-bunk (double underneath/ single above), one single bed and a TV. The bathroom has a step-in shower, vanity and toilet.
Convenience doesn't end there - with two dedicated parking spaces and a small carport provided (parking on the street is paid parking only). There is also an internal laundry area in the main house complete with a top loader washing machine. You are even treated with easy access to the playful neighbourhood playground and gorgeous waterfront directly across the road where you can also enjoy a sunset drink whilst taking in the serene views of the foreshore and marina.
Leave the hustle and bustle behind and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Stillwater and experience Nelson Bay like never before from this inviting holiday house. Enjoy a swim, stand-up paddle board, kayaking, bike ride or wander around the point to discover a spectacular diving and snorkelling sanctuary, Stillwater is so central to everything, all you have to do is park the car and everything is at your fingertips.

Another enjoyable stay
This is the 5th time Ive stayed at the property in the last 6yrs and once again it was very enjoyable. Whilst the overall condition of the property has gradually gone downhill a bit the location and price cannot be matched. Located directly opposite the beach its the perfect summmer location.
The location is great but that’s about it. The house is out dated, there were cobwebs, cockroaches and rat poor in the house itself. Parts of the inside and outside have fallen off and not been fixed. Not enough cutlery to accommodate the beds. Mattresses had springs coming out of them. Mould in the bathroom in the main house, holes in the wall, really dusty.
There was no fridge or cutlery in the granny flat.

The location was awesome directly opposite the water. Short stroll to Nelson Bay and nearby marine lookout with spectacular views. Heaps of rooms and beds with a self contained unit away from the main house. The property is old and a bit run down, but for the location price and size it was awesome. Will return.

Fantastic location
This house has a fantastic location with beach across the road. Shops and park are walking distance. House has plenty of space and several toilets, which is handy for big groups. Kitchen was a good size. Only downside was furniture needs an update and a few creepy crawlies here and there. Apart from that kids and adults had a great time!

Perfect location. Old house.
The house location is wonderful.
The house is old while the kitchen, bathroom and air conditioner work well.
Defects and suggestions: lots of furniture are broken. Too many insects in the house and granny flat. Sleeping beds are dirty. We understand the listing does not include linens, towels and paper rolls and we successfully manage them. But they will be a real value to the guests, very useful to the tourists. It's the difference between the accommodation and the camp.

Good location but house was worn out
Good location with just across the road to the beautiful beach but house was worn out and old. Most of the light bulbs and lamps were not working. We were excited that there was an Granny flat available with separate kitchen, aircon and TV but unfortunately TV has no antenna attached, aircon temp was not adjustable, curtain broken, bathroom light bulb not working so we couldn’t stay in the granny flat. Good thing about the house is they have many bedrooms. Other than that, the kitchen has no dish washer, living room floor was floor tile with small rug in the middle and quite cold for kids to walk around. We went at winter time so definitely house was not suitable for us. This would be a very lovely house if the owner willing to renovate and redecorate the house since it’s situated at such a perfect location. Neighbour was a bit noisy as they have a few units next to the house.
