First of all, I went off a recommendation from someone to stay here & it was the first AND last time I do that! There were 3 of us staying here: 2 adults & 1 child. 2 each of bath towels, hand towels & face towels were provided. We used 1 towel for the pool so I asked front desk staff, Michelle, for extra towels. And her reply was "weren't there towels in ur room?" I'm like, I paid good $ for a room and I can't get extra towels?! Wth, count them after if u want. I had to explain my towel situation & needs n she was very hesitant at first to fulfill my 2 towel request. At some point, she asked her daughter or assistant or asst daughter to look outside for the security guard (who she was gonna ask to get my 2 towels from towel heaven somewhere). And the daughter asst had nerve to ask ME if if seen the security guard and I looked at her in bewilderment. Anyhoo, no I didn't like this hotel or the front desk staff nor would I ever stay here again. Gurl bye!

The hotel was very clean, clean pool. Great service. Close to other outside restaurants and great walk to the beach.

We've stayed on Paradise several times and we like having a car to travel the island. If you know how to handle the Bahamas, this is a really good place to stay. Pretty quiet, nice pool, the rooms are what they advertise and that is actually quite nice, though it is a matter of luck if you are blocked by the tavern for your view - we weren't. Easy walk to Cabbage Beach, go one block west and head south, like three or four blocks total and through the side of the Paradise Club. Several yachts dock at the resort and the owners use the pool, but still was really quiet and relaxing. Super comfortable beach chairs! How could it be better? Kitchen could be much better stocked, staff could be a bit more engaging - the security staff was nicer than the hotel staff, though the cleaning staff was friendly. For whatever reason, they seemed to be a little stingy with towels? Also, I was aware of it but when you book pay attention - for 6 nights there was a $180 charge for energy and maid service. The Bahamas seems to be getting more and more busy. This is a good place to chill and with a car, a pretty decent and comfortable place to stay. Beds and even the couch bed were comfortable. OK balconies, excellent if you have a view. Don't plan on cooking anything exotic with the kitchen gadgets and pots provided, but building a nice rum and coke at happy hour and having a nice breakfast is workable. They also have some beater bikes you can just take for the day - easy way to get to Cabbage as well. One last thing - we went to every beach on New Providence on this trip. Cabbage - awesome as usual, Cable - meh, Junkanoo - fun if you want to party, Love Beach - surprising, but we really liked it there, relaxing, Jaws - sort of all coral, not much of a beach, Coral Harbor might have been nice but the surrounding area was NOT NICE, Adelaide was not much of a beach and the only access was through a rickety old resort where you are obliged to buy a few Kaliks - OK by me, but wasn't the ideal place for my wife and daughter.

This hotel sits right on the harbor. We enjoyed the Harbor views at night and the sunny beaches, a five minute walk, during the day. For the most part, the staff was friendly. However, we disagreed on fees that they tried to add on after arrival. We let knew about the energy fee and that was cool, but they wanted to add $120.00 in housekeeping fees. They ended up reducing it to $24.00 and we paid. It was somewhat suspect.

I am surprised that this hotel has an average of a 3 star rating. It is the equivalent of a Motel 6. There really aren't any amenities, other than a few free bikes to ride and some fishing poles. There is no staff there after hours, just some security guard who knows nothing about the hotel and cannot answer any questions you may have. They have a shuttle that (in reality a golf cart) that takes you to the beach during the day but it runs at strange times, I think it was 10am, noon and 4pm. There are no restaurants at this property so you have to walk to the other hotels which can be tough in the hot weather; I found it odd that the golf cart/shuttle wouldn't take us there as it is about the same distance to the beach. The room reeked of Pine Sol and there were ants and other small bugs in our room. Staff wasn't that friendly or that helpful either. I would not recommend staying here.

Not bad for hotel in paradise island. About 10 minutes from downtown Nassau

Web site showed on site Tavern with food and drinks but when we got there we found out Tavern has been closed for over 2 years , when we got home i re-checked web site and it still showed on site Tavern , call hotel and complained and they fixed web site , but that was the whole reason we booked it , out of the way, on site food and booze but still close enough to beaches was not impressed , first night wife wanted a tea , tea / coffee pot was broken , used safe , but safe won not re-open , office got safe open but it never worked after that , has coin laundry but has no soap , had to walk 15 mins to mini mart for soap ( How does hotel clean there stuff ?? ) hotel offers free ride to downtown nassau at 11 am , daily but ride shows up when they feel like it ..we waited 90 mins ..could have walked it faster booked 3 months in advance and had a great view of the closed down tavern , limited view of the marina On the plus side , Hotel staff was super friendly ,Very clean rooms , nice pool and hot tub ,quiet location

Had a great time. The room and view was beautiful. Great price. Maid service could have been better.

I enjoyed my stay at PHC&M, friendly staff and very clean room. Very quiet location overlooking the harbor. I will recommend to all my friends.

RELAXED AND ENJOYED THE VIEW AND WEATHER. The hotel staff made it all worth while. They were so very accomodating and eager for guests to enjoy thier stay. I travel to the Bahamas 4-5 times yearly and the staff at the Paradise Harbor Resort were the absolutely best I have experienced. Very upbeat attitudes and genuine concern for their guests. The restaurant is very good anot not to pricey. The fixtures were not modern but very clean. I would recommend this hotel.
