Meliá Nassau Beach - All Inclusive

Too long to explain. Overall it was not worth the amount that I spent. I am very disgusted with the level of service and the condition of the resort.

Overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel lobby needs more lighting. Food was okay. Breakfast buffet was good- fresh and a nice variety. The dinner buffet was not as fresh. Again more lighting in the buffet line may have helped. Help-yourself areas would be nice, frees up staff as well. Like ice cream machine and snacks available in the grill area near pool/beach.

Have stayed at this hotel 15 out of the last 17 years. Was there when it was a Ramada, then a Sheraton now the Melia. Unless you are paying the outrageous price of "The Level" you will feel like a secondhand guest. You can't use the quiet end of the beach, there are some liquors/mixed drinks you have to pay for and the staff is openly more friendly with "The Level" guest. For the regular paying you will stand in line for at least 30 minutes to be checked in and we have had friendly staff at the desk but the cannot answer basic guestions about the hotel. For our last trip we were intitled to a gift book worth $400, we had to ask for it and the clerk seemed oblivious to it's existence. We had to ask that she inquire about the booklet, if we had asked I don't believe we would have gotten it. Turns out we only used one coupon, the other coupons were useless.

We paid for level service waited in line to check in for 40 minutes. We than had to drag our bags to be checked in on the fourth floor for level services. Orbitz request a review for night which I fill out about this horrible experience. The next day we were locked out of our room to be forced to speak to management on why we have a bad review! On the beach we were to be given drinks that never happened we had to wait at the bar for drinks and food. Dining options were limited although we paid for level service and all inclusive there were lots of food option we could not have unless we paid $60 to 79 dollars more! Overall waist for level service this hotel is not a all inclusive and to be locked out of my room for giving feedback is horrible! Would not recommend this hotel.

My wife and I went here for out anniversary and we will be going back. The Staff is great!

The hotel is very close to the beach. We chose the room with family pool view and got lucky that our room is just a minute walk to the beach. Hotel is older than expected but the room is very clean and good condition. We find that most servers at buffet are not as friendly due to little or no tips ( I know the package said tips included but tips are very much appreciated) But other than that we had good service wherever we went. The food is Ok. The buffet is small and not many choices so reserve for dinner at restaurants as soon as you chicked in. But we went there for the beach which is the best we ever experienced. The water is clear, clean and kids friendly ( not deep and no big waves).

Hotel was mostly clean. Food was good. Staff was very nice. Right on the beach. Overall nice resort.

After reading the reviews I wasn't expecting ting a lot. The staff is friendly and helpul...if your nice to them, they are nice to you. Beautiful location but major lack of attention to detail. Checked in at 7 30pm and there were no towels in my room. The all inclusive mini-bar was empty...there were two bottles if room temperature water. Food was average in the buffet to above average in the two restaurants I tried - Aqua (Italian) and tappas bar. Service slow but if you are nice to staff it picks up.

Had a great time. Great for families and couples. Hotel has beautiful lobby and great night entertainment.

Very fun and friendly staff. All rooms face the ocean (although some lower floors may have view obstructed by pool buildings). This hotel is just big enough to have plenty of amenities and activities but not too big (Like Atlantis). Looks to have been built in the 1970's so not crisp and new (like Atlantis) but is recently remodeled and has a Euro-feel, nice! Great wide white sand beach, good food/lots of choices. If you like laid back, this place is for you.

Friendly staff. Beautiful white sand beach. A good place to relax. There are many security staff present on the property to ensure safety. Could improve their quality of night time entertainment programs.

NEVER EVER go to Malia hotels. Old, very bad service in restaurants, noisy rooms. Not well clean beach. For us Malia hotel is max 1 star hotel. Drinks are the cheapest.Food same every day. Bad organization: many people are working but not effective.

The hotel is in need of some TLC in both the rooms and around the grounds. We did see a crew doing some painting. The restaurants where reservations were required had okay food and service was slow. Overall the workers were friendly and pleasant when dealing with us, except when we asked to have our in room safe opened twice and never did as they could never tell us how long to wait and we got sick of waiting and left the room for the beach. Workers would often not treat each other very well, I think this might be a cultural thing as we saw this when we were off of the resort also. This resort has a lot of potential if they continue with upgrades.

Check in was a bit slow, pool we visited most was a bit cold, restaurant's that required reservations were a bit slow. Seriously these were all minor "inconveniences" in our stay. Great place, staff were awesome, and we will definitely consider going back in the future.

Great facilities: beautiful pools, fun drinks, good food (I found plenty to eat, but my friend didn't), beach access is excellent, water sports (stand-up paddle board, snorkel gear, etc.) were free and in good condition, nightly entertainment was fun and one DJ in particular was excellent. It was spring break so there were some (but not too many) young people getting pretty drunk, but they stayed in the adult pool and in truth they looked like they were having a great time. There were plenty of people of all ages and families. I really liked this aspect. One thing for the hotel to think about: It is true what others say that the dining staff is often not taking drink orders quickly. However, I think this is a work issue: too much work, too few staff. Everyone in the dining area was friendly and courteous and they try their best to get to you for your orders while also clearing tables and cleaning up. Breakfast is busiest. If I could, I'd return.

Great room oceanview w balcony Mini bar was mini 2 beers 2 sodas and a bag of chips and a granola bar, not what I call inclusive should be. Very courteous staff a few standout bartenders look for Edwin he was the best Crappy tv reception they came to the room every day and couldn't fix it... Restaurants were very good

Nice place- good food. Beach was beautiful! Restaurants w reservations were worth it- staff was very friendly & any needs were met timely. Would definitely go back!

Room wasn't ready when we got there... had to be switched into another room the next day. I wanted on a like for everything the whole time I was there. Book your reservations before or you'll have to eat at the buffet which was disgusting. Beach and drinks were great. Food outside was good. Just an okay all inclusive. Spend some extra money and go somewhere else.

Easy check in and out. Friendly and helpful staff. Right on the beach with lots to do. Several different restaurants on site with decent food.

We love it - very beautiful place - The staff was very friendly. The restaurants we did eat at were great the food was great the service was good a little bit slow on the service but of course the place is busy so I expected that but overall we had an amazing time at a beautiful resort and will definitely return there again. We also did the snorkeling trip that's offered on the beach and it was amazing we had a great time . Captain Sony and first mate Devon were hilarious and made the trip so fun.

Dear Melissa, We are sorry that The Level inclusions did not bring extra value to your getaway. The Level does provide a private check in at our Level lounge, special concierge service on The Level only beach, preferential dinner reservation booking, 25% discount at The Black Angus Steakhouse and more as a part of your amenity. Furthermore, our lock system was recent updated and changed, hence we will ensure that our providers double change the functionality of these new locks. Again we do apologize for the expectations not met. Sincerely, Cecilia
