Variety of restaurants was perfect, pools and hot tubs were great. Proximity to the beach was amazing.

Wonderful property. Was charged $130 for “guests we must have had over for lunch” even tho we had no guests and were part of the all inclusive. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

We sent our parents and they said the staff was very nice, the food was very decent, and the beach was beautiful.

VERY unhappy with this resort and Orbitz. Due to a flight delay of 4 hours (and sitting IN THE PLANE for 3 hours) caused by extreme weather, we could not make our connecting flight to Nassau and there were no other flights to take that day. Our 3 day trip had to be canceled but, in spite of these unforeseen circumstances, the Meliá has refused to refund ANY of our expenses. The airline refunded the entire amount of our “non refundable” tickets, but the Meliá will not. They consider this a CANCELLATION CHARGE and Orbitz is not honoring their Vacation Waiver that we purchased. Extremely dissatisfied with this entire situation and will be posting negative reviews everywhere for both Orbitz and the Meliá.

I thought the property was very modern and updated. The restaurants were fantastic, including the buffet. The OGrille was a fantastic option for lunch dining with carry out options and beach and poolside service. I wish there was more nightlife - no dance club besides the nights they had a DJ. The bars all stop serving at 1 am. The Japanese reataurant has very good food, but the service there was lacking. I highly recommend upgrading to the Level for premium alcohol choices, a private beach area, and private, fast check-in.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the resort in January and were extremely blown away at how welcoming the staff was the whole trip! Not to mention the water was absolutely pristine and breath taking. Drinks were refreshing and food was very good! ( not a huge fan cilantro but still happy with the food ). Will be going back in the near future!

Pools were beautiful and beach was beautiful. Hotel needs to be cleaner, maintained and updated Food was mostly warm to cold every day in all the restaurants

The Melia is a decent result for the price. It offers great food, great drinks (they aren't stingy on the alcohol), and a great time. Service is island time (meaning it does take some time to get things). Plenty of options for food. Some reviews are correct in that the tubs drain slowly but overall the resort provides great value for the price. In addition, the fitness center was top notch.

I liked the variety of restaurants, and the transportation to the other beach and resort / casino. Nice variety of entertainment and things to do. Would have like to see pool tables since I don’t play ping pong.

Staff very friendly and helpful, food at Marketplace and O Grille , very nice , good for a quick lunch ( after my A.M.dive trips) East Vida , top notch, Aqua, great food and service ( Kendrick & Avonte) hope I got the names correct. Nikkei was OK, I was just expecting more Japanese/Sushi , but food was good, Ceviche was better than sushi, Salmon entrée was very substantial and tasty, just could not finish it. East Vida was my favorite, small/medium tastings , great service. Black Angus was maybe OK, not worth the extra price, have had better,( food and service) Too much hype.

Service from restaurant is just horrible, room was smells mold and had no AC, very disappointed, Bahamas was beyond beautiful just not this hotel,

Under construction and dirty. Front desk never picks up the phone and half the amenities are missing from the room. Not to mention cockroaches!
