Loved the hotel's history and the general vintage / elegant vibe. Rooms are well appointed but on the small side, and my room begged for an armchair (city view queen room). Bathrooms are large (almost as large as the room itself) and clean. I hope there will be an effort to pay attention to the details in the hotel's maintainance. For instance, the ceilings in the halls are suspended (not a great look) and stained and so are the carpets. The window in the door to the second floor rooms was cracked and had a blue masking tape over it the whole time we were there. Made me want to go out and get a clear tape at least. It's those details that if taken care of would make this hotel a 5 star. The grounds are well kept. Only one restaurant/lounge, the Buillion, and while nicely decorated, food was not the greatest. Acqua is only opened for breakfast. Other peeves were the noise from construction on the condo next door, but that will be over eventually, and the cruise ships and other transport ships sailing a bit too close to the beach. Made me wonder about the water quality for swimming. But, overall I liked the hotel and would probably go back.

The pool and beach areas were nice, but I have been to better. Our room was disappointing in that it was small and showed it’s age, especially the bathroom. The bar, restaurant and conversation areas were fine. The staff was helpful and friendly. All in all, I would give a 3 out of 5.

Private beach was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close to shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful , elegant Not much time there Nice room’s

It's very well located for walking the downtown area. The beach is ok but too close to where the cruise ships dock to be as pristine as other places. The rooms are clean, and adequate. The staff is amazing. They are attentive, welcoming, gracious, and always want to know what else they can do to make your stay great. I'm talking ALL the staff: front desk, valets, concierge, bartenders, wait staff, poolside, housekeeping.

The convenience to downtown and airport. Excellent hotel.

The private beach was amazing, fun location, and incredibly friendly staff.

This property is with in walking distance to shops, restaurants, the cruise ship docks, and plenty of activities. You have no choice but to go out and explore the magnificent Bahamian culture. Anything out farther then walking, there is taxi and shuttle at the ready. Our first time in the Bahamas and BC Hilton was the best deal at the time. We will be back for sure in the near future, but only if this property has the great deal again. We recommend a stay when Bahamas celebrates their Independence. We we're lucky to have been there at that time and it was beautiful, Bahamian culture to it's max. The festival happens, literally right outside the hotel's doors and right around the corner. We loved it. Yes, it has resort fees and certain charges that we questioned, but so does Vegas.

Nice place to stay. But had problems with room keys every night not working. Yes we kept them away from electronics

Hallways looked in need of updating. The rugged Hallways needed to be replaced.

the location, the staff. overall te rooms were well kept

the manager, Shari was wonderful. however the rest of the staff did not smile nor greet us with any energy or excitement for our stay. The property seems lifeless, nothing going on, no entertainment or music or excitement at all and we did not know where
