This hotel is awesome!!! Friendly staff, Easy access to the beach, pool and within walking distance to the shopping center. The ferry is literally down the street if you would like to catch it to Pardise Island or you could just ride the transit bus for $1.25 and sightsee. The only dislike I have is that there is a 15% gratuity charge alone with a 7.5% VAT tax charge included in every place you attend to eat or get a drink from. It could get pretty expensive if you're planning on eating out each day. But nonetheless it's a must take trip!!

Our first room wasn't great. We explained it was our 10 year anniversary and we were hoping for a better view. They gave us a complimentary upgrade, and the rest of the stay was amazing. Clean room, great view, the friendliest staff you could ever ask for. Yummy, albeit expensive food, but that's to be expected. We could not be happier.

Really enjoyed my stay . Don't like the Resort fee.

I found that hotel staff were not timely in getting a manager to resolve a financial discrepancy. Placed on hold for over 30 minutes. Maid was friendly and helpful. However I found hotel staff unfriendly and appeared impatience. Much focus were upon the need of several local community events, and tourist were made to feel omitted. There should have been flyers or notices to tourist what was available to them and at what price. Disappointed that as a Hilton Honor's member, I was not able to acquire any points or benefits because I booked via a secondary (online subsidiary ). This was not made clear to me when I contacted the hotel directly. No microwave in room as I was told.

Hotel was nice. Front desk staff semi friendly. Location of hotel very convenient. Close to shops and restaurants

Got forced to move from a cabana. Apparently you can put a hotel towel on cabana and leave for 5 hours and nobody else can use it!!!! The towel guy made us move. So, you can put a towel on a cabana at 12:01 am and I guess it will be there when you wake up!! Would've been happy to move but other guest was rude to me. Be sure you ask price at bar. Price of drink was 10 bucks on menu but was special of the day. I didn't know the special was 14.99. Now, if you buy two and get one free for 30 bucks isn't that the same as buying 3 when it isn't on special. I understand things are pricy and will be more expensive but don't try to make people think they are getting a deal. Anyone that can do simple math could figure out that wasn't a deal. Also, if you have meal credit per day, be sure you say something they won't! I had to go to their computer and print out itinerary. They didn't tell me you could print from only one computer of course I was at wrong one. Out of three days I only used my credit one day. Wasted an hour trying to prove it. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time!!!!

This hotel is central to a lot of restaurants, bars & shops. If you're comfortable walking, then you won't need a car. The staff from the hotel were very friendly and helpful when it came to booking tours. The hotel breakfast is a little expensive, but I think it was worth doing because we got a lot of food. Overall, it was a great time!

Stay was awesome although most of the staff was very welcoming and helpful there were some miserable ones that were not very friendly. Check in time needed to be alittle more organized waited several hours for my room . Overall great vacation .

Cons: 1. Inconsistency: I was told as an SPG gold member that I would get an upgrade, well that didn't happen. Also, after several days of bringing food back and eating outside in the seating area of the hotel, we were told by a random hotel rep that we could only eat in our room. Therefore, to eat outside there we would have to buy the food from the hotel. Absolute nonsense! 2. Executive Lounge: the concept is awesome but we were told we could not take the food (snacks) back to our room so we had to eat in the Lounge. Then my wife saw other couples taking their food back to their room and another lady had a box of Dunkin donuts in there eating against the supposed "policy". 3. Noise: the cleaning outside our suite was so noisy as the staff would be loud and play music while they cleaned other rooms. They were very obnoxious! 4. Old furniture: the chairs in our suite were pretty dated and so was the bed. 5. Shower: the water does not get hot until you run it for about 5 minutes. Also, the water flow is very slow. 6. Microwave: there was no microwave in our suite even though we had a fridge. In addition, the staff are not allowed to warm up your food for you. So they try to force you to buy their expensive food. 7. Very pricey: Aqua is the restaurant and is very expensive! Room service is also a bit pricey but we ordered once and it was decent but not worth the price. 8. Safety: The elevator inspection is overdue since July 2016. In fact, one of the elevators broke down.

By far the best hotel in Nassau close enough to downtown so its a short walk The private beach is beautiful and so is the pool area Friendly staff although prices for breakfast are a bit ridiculous I will definitely stay here again

The good: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The best customer service I have experienced. The beach area is almost perfect, spent much of my trip down there. They kept the room spotless everyday. The location is right downtown, most things you want to do are only a stone's throw away. There is cheap dining and a liquor store right across the street. The town itself did not seem all too safe, but we felt very secure in the hotel. Each room has a safe with a 4 digit security code of your choice. Dinner and lunch were definitely top quality, and the drinks were delicious and strong(the way I like it). The bad: the prices are terrible for dining in and the gift shop. Breakfast buffet was over 50 dollars for two people and it was just standard breakfast foods, nothing fancy. At the gift shop, a bottle of water was almost 4 dollars. There are no vending machines, and the tap water is not good. We had to go to a very shady grocery store a few blocks away, almost getting robbed if a cop wasn't right outside. A gallon of purified water was a buck there, though. It generally never coated us less than 30 bucks for two alcoholic beverages. The beach like most had some broken glass, but it was washed in with the tide. There were not always freah towels but it never took long for them to be replenished. In summary: the hotel was great for the value and service waa top notch. I regret not spending a little extra on an all-inclusive resort as dining was most expensive.

The hotel is in an absolutely excellent location. There are many attractions, restaurants and stores nearby. The staff is amazing. I hope the new construction does not ruin the flavor of the hotel.

Staff not friendly Over charge on check out Hidden charges Hotel not same pictures that are on line

The location is excellent. especially if you like to watch the cruise ships come and go and turn around right in front the property. The staff is terrific and helpful. The marble floors in the rooms were a bit chilly, but now cozy slippers are offered so everything couldn't be better. It's an old historic hotel but well managed and clean.

Hotel is in perfect location between downtown and fish fry. Everything is walking distance and convenient to get to. The hotel is large, has a nice private beach for guests only and a great view of the ocean and docked cruise ships. I would stay here again. I highly recommend it. The wifi was intermittent and not reliable but I imagine it is like that all around the island. Otherwise great amenities and great deal.

The hotel was very nice, clean, and well located. It has a small private beach with beachside bar. There is also a pool in the hotel courtyard.

My wife and I had a layover and chose this hotel for the night. The room was very small, the bed was the size of a full bed. It was good for the night but was too expensive for what you got. WIFI is pay by the hour or day.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms were clean and most of the staff were exceedingly friendly. The only complaint we had, was the daily charge of $17.50/person resort fee. We wouldn't have minded paying that if any other than the normal hotel amenities were provided. The bar by the pool was almost never open. When at the beach, we had to go to the inside bar to order a drink. We were often given dirty looks or asked to wait outside due to bringing water and sand into the hotel bar. If you don't want sand in your hotel bar, then have the outside bar open or an outside waitstaff to assist guests by the beach.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the restaurants surprisingly tasty and reasonably priced. Easy access to Paradise Island. The beach is private and nicely maintained, though it is a little on the small side and does face the cruise ship terminals, so it can get a little noisy (though there is something nice about watching the boats come and go), but it's wonderful to be able to hop out of bed and be lounging under a palm tree in less than 5 minutes.

We stayed for a destination wedding. In a good area with multiple food options with a variety of price ranges because it is near the port. You share the beach with the cruise ships but it is roped off. Expect to see a 5-6 ships coming in and out of thru the day. the only bad encounter I had with this place was bringing back outside food. They would not allow you to it eat near or on there seats. I understood this when the restaurants were open but not when they were closed. Nice gym. No pool :( Overall clean good stay and walking distance to other travellers
