Charming property with excellent customer service & the friendliest of staff! The attention to detail is amazing. Perfectly located just a few minutes outside the heart of Nashville, we could not have picked a better place to spend our honeymoon!
My husband and I traveled to Nashville to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose to stay at The Inn at Fontanel for all five nights of our stay. We stayed in the Carriage House Suite. After reading the reviews on different travel websites and after exploring the inns website, we were very excited about staying there. The price was a bit higher than staying at a hotel in Nashville, but we wanted to stay somewhere extra special for our anniversary. Pros: The inn is located outside the city - super quiet and little traffic by the inn. It is very easy to travel into the city or anywhere around the city. The staff at the inn-fantastic! Every single person we encountered at the inn was super friendly and helpful. They were also extremely knowledgeable about Nashville and things to see and do. The Carriage House Suite was very spacious yet intimate. Very clean and terrific housekeeping services! The breakfasts are out of this world! The scenery at Fontanel is absolutely stunning! We loved the walking/biking trails. Cons: tours to the mansion are no longer offered, the cafe was closed, and there is obviously a need for some aesthetic improvements and repairs. I want to give them a excellent rating as our stay was absolutely fabulous, however, we were greatly disappointed by the appearance of the property and the lack of the mansion tours and the cafe being closed. We do highly recommend staying at the inn and will stay there again ourselves should we return to Nashville.
I planned to stay here without a car specifically because I thought they had a restaurant. I guess it's under renovation but I wished they had told me. In house breakfast was great but I had to uber for other meals. My room was SPECTACULAR. A hot water problem mattered none because the service is excellent and the grounds gorgeous and peaceful. I loved being out of the city. I LOVED walking into my room and there was music playing!! And thank goodness I saw no signs of a TV in the lobby which would have ruined it. Staff is attentive and kind. I will stay here again for sure as soon as the restaurant is up and running.
Nice distance from the Nashville bar scene. Quiet and secluded. Top-notch furnishings and outstanding service all around. Breakfast cooked to order included is a nice surprise. Staff always ready to help - no issues at all. Book a visit if you can!
My Wife and I booked three nights in the North Bunkie last week and loved it. The staff was unbelievably nice and the property was very relaxing and well kept. Think twice before you book in the city as the Inn is only a 15 min drive to downtown. A professional Chef cooks you a awesome breakfast every morning. We can’t say enough, we will be back.
Stayed at The Inn as part of our road trip around the southern states of America. It was fabulous, just what we needed. Peaceful glorious place about 10-15 minutes from Downtown. We stayed in the South Bunkie which was lovely and comfortable, excellent nights sleep. Loved it and can't recommend highly enough.
My wife and I booked the South Bunkie and the Inn really helped top off our stay. The service was great (thanks Amy, Zoe, and Olivia!), the breakfast was great, the location was peaceful and quiet and relatively a close drive to just about anywhere you need to go. The room was super clean. We enjoyed drinking wine on the porch, eating breakfast on the porch, and taking the golf around the property. The only complaint we really had was that the mansion was not open, nor was the onsite restaurant. But in all honesty I am sure it helped keep the property that much more quiet.
My wife and two daughters and I stayed four nights in the North Bunkee at the Inn last week. We loved it! The bunkee was great, the hostesses were very friendly and accomodating, and the breakfasts were outstanding. We were also delighted by the property amenties, including access to bicycles, a golf cart, and walking trails. The property is really beautiful, with a creek running under two small bridges and lots of wooded areas in the back of the lot. We hope this will not be our last stay at the Inn
The hotel was impeccable and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. With so little rooms, you feel very secluded. Wonderful breakfast on the outdoor porch.
This is my second time staying here within a year. We love the bunkies! So much privacy and tranquility on the property. The restaurant is good also. Only a 10-15 min drive into the city. The breakfast is great, the use of the bicycles and the golf cart adds a lot of bonuses to the stay. The only place we will ever stay when in the Nashville area.
