It's wonderful that investors likes to come into the run down neighborhoods and try to clean them up by putting in nice rental properties, but safety is a major priority as well. During our stay there were gun shoots right in front of our condo that it woke us up, scared my grandchildren to the point they didn't want to go back to sleep. Next thing we see 2 police cars picking up what look to be evidences off the ground. The following morning my husband took our 2 year old grandson out for a walk in the parking area because he loves outside, and my husband saw a gun shell on the ground near the area where the sound of shooting and where the police was. The condo was beautiful and clean just the way the pictures showed, but the stairs got to us , but that's my fault for not really considering how that would affect us. We did experienced power outage for hours and it was cold. So after maybe an hour without lights, I called in to find out no one had called in to report the outage, and I explained that I had an elderly person and small children and that we were here visiting, and maybe about another hour and half the light came back on. If it's just me and my husband, he may consider staying their again, but with bringing our grandchildren I think we will find a safer area. Nashville is a beautiful city. My sister, her husband and daughter have lived there for over 18 years. The host was very responsive when I sent a message, we thank you for that. I hope we'll find just of a nicer place in a safer location when we come back to visit. Thanks!
