It was hard not to be immediately awed by the beauty and scale of this property. Each room was immaculately decorated with soaring ceilings and elaborately painted frescoes. It truly felt unreal to be able to stay in such an awe-inspiring hotel and the warmth and attention of the staff was equally matched. What a privilege to stay in such a historic and immaculate site!

We absolutely LOVED our stay, wish we had stayed here longer. The hotel and rooms are stunning. It was in the city so with the shutters open you could here the street but at night we closed the shutters and had a great dark and quiet room. VERY convenient to the downtown shopping and Spanish quarters. Loved that we stayed in a historic building, we did a walking tour and our guide talked all about it. You should definitely book your stay here!

Air conditioning stopped working on multiple nights. Card to operate the elevator did not work one evening when returning from dinner, therefore we could not access our floor. We had to wait for someone to come from outside to get us access to our room. We were expecting a much better experience.
