The location was good. Halfway between the central train station and the duomo/museums area. It is a 10 min walk to the duomo metro. The owner and her team are friendly. There is a complementary espresso machine. The view from the balcony is great.
But the details on the page are incorrect. First, it does not say that the apartment is on the 12 floor. Despite what the listing says, there is an elevator but it needs 10c to operate each time. Which is OK because the flat owner leaves out a stack for the guests' use. But you need 10c the first time if you don't make arrangements beforehand. The owner does not contact you beforehand to make arrangements, but whatsapp them early. The apartment is not that easy to find. It is a glass entry way leading to a courtyard and you have to go to staircase B at the end.
There is also no luggage storage service despite what the listing says but there are plenty of shops around that will do it for you if needed for about 5 euros.
What I did not like was that the listing did not also include the information that a 15 euro cleaning fee at the end of stay is not optional but mandatory. So it was not value for money for me as a solo traveller staying for a short stay. This info may be assumed for users of other apartment rental sites, but it is not the norm for this site. So be prepared to add that to the cost.
Overall, it was OK. But really for larger families and for longer durations.
