This facility named as a “hotel” but it was like a hostel or motel, no lobby, no front desk staff, pictures in the description is very misleading. Place was located on a dirty Main Street, garbage everywhere and felt unsafe to walk after 9 pm . A.c didn’t work, safe deposit box didn’t work, we have to carry our valuables everywhere. This facility charged us similar to standard 3 to 4 star hotel price in the area with but service of a hostel. My family was very uncomfortable. Expedia should have a policy to name a facility a hotel as this is very misleading.

But this property looks apartments and they don’t have 24 hours front desk services. Is very small. Whe have to wait in the streets for someone to open the doors for us because we arrived after 7:00 pm. And the door was closed

There was no service. It was difficult to get a hold of someone to check in and not possible to get a hold of someone to check out. We had to leave keys with the cleaning staff. There was no one in the front desk. The place seemed more like a hostel, we heard everyone in the other rooms, they gave us keys to the building to get in the hotel since they don’t have a person there at all times. If you need toilet paper or anything you can’t get it because there is no one there! Instructions to get in the building or find the hotel was not in the website or this app. Neighborhood was sketchy but it was near a transportation hub. Would not stay here again.

Hotel is in a convenient location to shopping and dining with transportation near by. The beauty of Napoli is it’s a vibrant city with that in mind our hotel room was not quiet so that’s to be considered if you want a quiet room. Bathroom was old and in poor repair with broken parts, no toilet seat. No hot water and when we asked for some bottled water the staff said yes but never stocked our room.

I really enjoyed the location and the friendly staff. It was small which I loved. The beds were very very hard- and that may be an American thing. But the air conditioning was awesome!

The overall stay at this hotel was just okay. The ac in the room barely worked and the room never got cold. The shower had mold in it. One of the wooden panel's on the window was broken and there was a huge piece of wood on the floor. When I asked the receptionist for any dinner recommendations she shrugged and said maybe pizza. In addition, 2 members of our group left early in the morning while I stayed back with a friend. The cleaning person didn’t knock and just tried to walk in on us (it was still very early in the morning-8am)! Also- the Wi-Fi did not reach our room (which was basically right next to the from desk). Location was fine and they were able to schedule taxi pick up for us.

Great location in the city centre so great to explore Naples city centre. Naples city centre may have a bad reputation, but I believe it is OK now, and we enjoyed walking around as a family. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is small and we had the bedroom right next to the reception desk which is not ideal for privacy as I am sure the receptionist and guests can hear what's going on in the room from the reception... The breakfast was OK but not the best I have seen in hotel considering the price of the room, but I believe the area is quite expensive so...

We stayed for one night before travelling to south to Sorrento. The hotel was clean and tidy, situated by one of the main streets so navigation around the city was easy and the receptionist was friendly.

Decent room but smelled like a drainage issue. This is located in a busy part of Naples and I strongly recommend you google map the street prior to booking your stay.

Nice hotel, good location

Enjoyed our stay here, good location - easy to walk to most places but close to the Metro too. Nice room, big comfy bed. Bathroom gave you as much space as you need - good sized shower. Staff were friendly. We asked about a taxi to the airport and they said they'd book one - this turned out to be their own transport, and slightly more than an actual taxi. If you want a regular taxi though, you can walk to one of the main squares (or train station, about 10 mins walk), there are taxi ranks there. We had an early flight so really didn't mind paying a bit extra to know transport was definitely waiting for us right outside the hotel! Would stay here again.

Great place . . . .scary city

Naples is an extremely busy city with people hurrying all over the place and a traffic nightmare. Not a safe place for tourists to be walking about. Cab drivers can not be trusted to leave you where you want to go. They only want the money and will charge whatever they want and drop you off in the wrong location because they just don't care. They take advantage of the tourists. This place was very hard to find because the house numbers are very difficult to locate and they do not align on both sides of the street. A 200 number might line up with an 500 number across the street. The place itself is very nice and comfortable providing a safe haven in a scary city!

Good hotel if you have to stay in Naples

Naples itself is a dangerous city with not much going on, but if you have to go there Napoli Gold Hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms were clean, big and very modern with a good breakfast and fast wifi. The only downside is that there is not a 24 hour desk service, but they make sure they are there when you arrive (they will ask ahead of time what time you will be getting there). It is on a main street and very close to good restaurants (pizza!) and the train station. Great hotel for the price.

Nice hotel

Helpful staff. Kindly called me the day before check in and waited for me at the door while I was late (have you heard about bumper to bumper driving in Napoli?) Parked my car as well( for 26). Good breakfast experience! If I could have found a free street parking, I'd have given a five star rating!
