Cons: the bathroom and room smelled like a sewer. We opened the window but it was no help. It was disgusting. The bed was very uncomfortable and had to pay 50 cents every time we used the elevator. Pros: large room and the ladies at the front desk were very nice.

This property is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to the old city, stores and restaurants. We were able to sign up for a food tour that started about one block from the B & B. The breakfast, coffee, juice and a dessert was across the street in a small coffee bar and was included with the stay. The elevator is small, but there are stairs if you are like me and don't like elevators. The staff was friendly, and I felt that I was an actual "resident" of Naples after being at this property with my wife for 5 days.

Overall the stay was very good, the only thing is our room was in front of a busy street, and the days we were there, there was a lot of noise in the night preventing us from good sleep.

Unfortunately one of the three rooms (three of us each with our own room) did not have working AC and it was hot so that was not great. Also, the elevator broke so we had to drag our bags down three flights of stairs. The elevator was very sketchy and you had to use coins to use it. The staff seemed nice but did not help to take bags down, was not able to fix the AC and we requested a taxi pick up and they were not able to do this successfully. It was quiet, clean and bed comfortable. I am mixed on whether I would refer anyone though.

The property is in a great location right at the edge of the historical centre. It's walking distance to a lot of the main sites and lots of bars/restaurants. The room was clean and quite large, generally very quiet too as the property is accessed by going through a courtyard as opposed to directly facing the street. There's a small breakfast included which is in a bar across the street.

Very basic accommodation. Bed was too hard and (only) 2 very flat pillows were provided. Have to pay to use the very tiny elevator (rooms are on the 4th floor) and I don't remember that being mentioned in the description before booking. Old building (which is expected) had a hard time with preventing noise. Limited breakfast "provided" at a nearby cafe. Like most hotel rooms in older Italian buildings I've stayed in, there wasn't an interior lock to prevent others entering. There wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign that could be used. Housekeeping tried to enter while I was there without knocking first. I didn't feel safe that someone couldn't just come in.

Nice Stay

This was a very good choice. It is a very short walk to the Archeology museum as well as the metro. A short metro ride to the train station for easy access to Herculaneum and Caserta Palace. There are many cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the area. The room was clean and bright. The staff were super helpful and we were able to store our luggage on the last day before we departed for our late train to Rome. The bed and pillows were very firm and our room faced the busy, noisy street which caused us some grief when we were trying to sleep.

This is a lovely, well-managed B&B. The staff was welcoming and informative. The rooms were clean and had all amenities you might need including a fridge and coffee setup. It’s close to a great restaurant Re Lazzarone and includes breakfast at Karmacore which was also great. It’s on the third floor of a very old building that has a lift.
