Overall great place… clean and each bedroom at a private bathroom. Great views of the ocean from out decks but glass windows and sliding glass doors desperately needed to be washed.

Gorgeous home in a spectacular

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blackbeard. The home is spacious, very comfortable, well laid out, with great ocean views from everywhere. The kitchen is perfect for a large group, with room for several separate prep stations and any possible tool you could wish for. The two dishwashers are a stroke of genius. Our week was cold and rainy, but the ocean views and plenty of space for games, puzzles, reading and hockey on TV made it a great family week in spite of lousy weather. Would love to stay here again.

Great Time At OBX

The property was everything we hoped for. We brought a large crew of all ages down and had a very memorable trip. Would definitely stay again. Pros: -House is and felt new. -Plenty of space for all the adults and our kids. -The kitchen was well appointed, well stocked, and optimal for making large dinners. -Access to the beach was just a quick walk away. -Any issues with the property were addressed with great haste. Nit-Pick Cons: - Beds were very firm. - Walk way to the beach was a little over grown

Wonderful vacation house!

There were 13 of us. The place is perfect, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, very spacious. Right on the beach and close to lots of stores, activities and restaurants. We did have a few problems.1. They do not provide clean sponges, dish cloths, hand soaps @ sinks, dish washer pods, liquid dish soap, paper towels or toilet paper. There were only about 3 hangers per closet. In all fairness, the missing items were listed on the ap. It was my fault for not reading it thoroughly. In my opinion, I would rather pay an extra hundred dollars and have these things in the house. 2. There were towels missing from one of the rooms, top sheets and pillow casses missing from one of the rooms. 3. The place was not clean. When was the last time the bedspreads and blankets washed? The fans and ac vents are not clean, the windows and sliding glass door is not clean. The drawer under the stove has probably never been cleaned. The white cabinets are dirty. There are other things that I will not bore you with now. All I am saying is that we paid a lot of money to stay in this beautiful home and it would be well worth the cost if the property management company paid more attention to what is going on. The cleaning people should do a deep clean at least once a month. The renter should not have to go shopping for all the necessary items. Also, I left most of them there as I was flying home. What will happen to all that I purchased?
