Stayed here for 2 nights and it was good enough for the rate paid. The common room was big and clean. Only minus was the sofa which was stained and had a smell to it. The kitchen was okay well with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster and few utensils provided. The pots needs to be changed as it was quite old. The inside of the refrigerator was stained and brown as well. The surrounding was perfect - clean, beautiful gardens and quiet. Just minor cleaning and renovations and this place will be great.

Second time staying at Grand West and we will stay again. We appreciate the low key atmosphere and location along with the planes coming and going. The villa is tired and well used. We had a two storey one this time which was wonderfully spacious. There are some things that would take very little to make an improvement. There is no outdoor furniture for the balcony, no potato peeler or spatula. The bed had roll together but bearable. You have to go and sit by the office to get Wi Fi, but that is ok. Beware of mosquitoes while sitting there. No hairdryer but one was provided once I asked. We wanted hand towels and facecloths so had to ask for those as well, once again they were provided on request. As I say minor things and having said that, we love the place and will be back. The pool is wonderful and beautifully maintained. Food from the restaurant is pretty good. For us, it is a relaxing feel good place to park ourselves. Smugglers Cove and other resorts are all within walking distance, the beach is nice, not pristine waters but still nice. The villas would be great for families, but as a couple we appreciated the space as well.

Checked into the the hotel at 12:55am ,the rooms are very run down, not enough towels very basic not a place to be if you looking for a good night sleep & definitely not a good pick for holidaying or quick stop over. Telephones in the room not working, didn’t bother to explore further, noisy neighbors.

We arrived in this hotel on 11 July 2019. We booked 9 nights. Still here but I couldn't wait to write a excellent review about it !! Nice welcoming, smiling and friendly staff. Every staff members are so kind and helpful, made us fell at home. Tours and tickets assistance always avaible. The room are very clean, spacious with nice terrace. housekeeping service every day if you want. Amazing and funny swim pool, the environment kept very clean, perfect to have a nice relax, enjoy the green garden around you and the good food in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend staying here as a beautiful hotel with the best service. Chiara & Maikol

Came to Fiji with my Mum and her friend, came into this hotel and within 3 hours we checked out and into the Ramada down the street which was lovely. Where do I start? Got to reception, there is a sign which says no TV signal in rooms 200-300 (we were in 207) and no Wifi throughout the hotel. As we are from the UK we obviously want to keep in contact with family and friends back home during our 10 day trip. (Calls cost £4 a min). When I asked the lady on the desk about the Wifi, she just said “someone is working on it”. We checked in and was given the key. I asked her if we can have another key (3 adults staying in the room), she said there was only 1 key, insane. We were expected to just bargain with each other as to who will need the key more urgently. We arrived to the room, there was a strange musty odour. The room looked like it was last decorated in the 1980s, NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS ONLINE!!! The stairs were very steep and difficult to get our cases up. Only the master bedroom had air con. The bedding had stains on it and the whole place was generally dirty with bugs crawling around. We dropped our bags off and was out hunting for better accomodation within 30 mins. As mentioned above, we were out after 3 hours. It is awful that we booked this trip so far in advance, paid a fair bit of money and were really looking forward to it, to be faced with the nightmare we encountered. I feel like this review needs to be divided into two sections. Our first room was downstairs as per our request, I have mobility issues. The room was not what we booked, it was much smaller and had no bath. We then waited while a room with a bath was cleaned... it was not clean. The toilet still had marks in the bowl, surfaces were greasy and dusty, and there was mould on the walls. But desperate to sleep we checked in. Within a few hours the mould made us ill, and we decided to check out. When packing up my husband discovered an open sanitary pad by the bed. I would struggle to give the downstairs accommodation 1 star. We were offered to view a room upstairs and found it much better, very basic but much cleaner. Although the stairs were hard, the staff always offered to help with bags. If you are looking for a basic place to stay this is good. If you like luxury, or cannot climb stairs at all, I would not recommend it. The staff were all very friendly, in particular Shivanjali who was really helpful, and Micah who was very caring. The location isn't great in that it's quite a walk to restaurants etc, the beach is dirty and the airport is very close. That was fine for us as we were just stopping over and don't mind noise. Vinaka to the staff, and hopefully management may allocate some find a to fixing up some downstairs rooms.

Family holiday accommodation simply the best. Clean, location, friendly everything and more Staff were amazing and the facilities great Especially the pool.,the kids would love it Bbq area and restaurant for family gatherings Close to town, cafes, beach Awesome

Stayed here recently with friends and would highly recommend this place.Rooms were neat and priced reasonably. Asena the receptionist provided and exceptional 5 star service. Will be back next time I'm in Nadi.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. It was good for a short term stay and the rooms did the job of providing a place to sleep, shower, etc. My only critiques would be around the cleanliness of the rooms, which were relatively clean but could be improved as they were a bit gritty/dusty/stuffy. Perhaps it was the lighting in our room but it was a little gloomy. If you're looking for places to eat, there are two restaurants within walking distance (Awesome Grill and Grace Road Kitchen). The other restaurants and night clubs are a bit of a drive and are not within walking distance, so if you're looking for a hotel close to the night life (walking distance) this is not it.

1st of all , this is not a Westin or Radisson, so if you are expecting this , check the rate and understand what you are getting for your money. What you get is clean rooms with a good bed and a kitchen with basic amenities . The resort is quiet ( except for the loud planes intermittently from the nearby airport - this is what you get for an airport hotel!). The pool is excellent; clean with a fast water slide. I stayed with a group for one week in Fiji for medical mission work; we will book this resort for our next trip!
