Close to the beach, Pier 14, and the Strand and Boardwalk. Reasonable cost, older bldg, but decent place. 3.5 outta 5 stars for 👍 !!!

The balcony is literally 1 foot. You open the sliding glass door and can make a short step out and that's it. Also, check-in is not in the north tower. You have to cross thru the hotel next door and then to the south tower in the basement. No business center or real lobby.

Beautiful room! Loved the bed next to the sliding glass door. Kitchen, dishes pots and pans, silverware, ice maker in freezer and tons of room for 2. There was only one downside if you want to call it that....you can not sit on the balcony. You can only stand on it, other's about a foot of space to stand and it runs the length of the sliding glass door and window facing the ocean. This is not a hotel so no room cleaning. We were scheduled for one room cleaning and towel change in 8 days. If we requested more there would have been an additional charge. We visited off season so the beach and street were fairly quiet. During in season it would be really really busy. The staff and security were AWESOME! So friendly and accommodating.

Since I booked this place on Orbitz, it was not readily apparent that the place was actually a time share. that being said, the time share management office as well as the office staff overall interaction was just like any business office, being differing from the standard hotel front desk. 1. The resort fees came as a surprise: $60/ day in addition to the already paid daily room rates - which I paid to Orbitz. 2. The room keys are metal traditional keys - if lost will cost you around $75 (?) each. 3. The bunk beds are located in a small closet-like space - extremely worn out, shaky, unsteady old wooden frames. 4. The bathroom sink got clogged the first night. No overflow hole noted. The plumber came and poured some liquid pipe unclogger solution - no help! We simply used the kitchen sink the rest of the stay. 5. The patio and the outdoor pool in front of the South Bldg were closed for renovations - not known when booked. 6. Sheets are visibly old and worn, no freshness smelled or felt. Not sure if the Resort room owner or the Resort management posts this property on Orbitz, but I certainly hope improvements are made soon and the proximity of the beach and a great restaurant on Pier 14 can compensate for the lackluster accommodations for the next guests. Overall, the $60/ day resort fees would have felt OK if I did not have to pay Orbitz upfront. Feeling ripped off.

Great view and location. very friendly staff. Only downer was the balcony wasn't really a balcony couldn't even go out on it.

The furniture should be upgraded....the balcony is ridiculously small, you can't even sit on it to enjoy the view. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay

Thanks for taking time to review our resort. Sorry you had a hard time finding our check in location! Does it say on Orbitz that our office is in the north tower? The front desk has always been in the south tower . . . so I would love to know if that's something that needs to be addressed. Come back soon!

I am sorry Orbitz did not make some of your comments clear to you. We do still have metal keys because our entry doors are outside and since we are oceanfront the salt air might damage the key card entry. If you lose a key it is a $30 charge to rekey the door. We do our best to fix problems in rooms if a guest notifies us at the front desk. Thank you for the feedback.
