2/10 Terrible

Our stay at the Patricia Grand in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina was absolutely unacceptable. The photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the true condition of the building or the unit we stayed in. This property is clearly neglected, poorly maintained, and far below any reasonable standard of cleanliness or comfort. From the moment we walked in, we were hit with a sickening odor that lingered throughout our entire 5-day stay. There was no access to fresh air, as both balcony sliders had been boarded shut from the outside. It felt unsafe and claustrophobic. Mold and mildew were visible in both the kitchen and bathroom, which immediately raised serious health concerns. The floors were so filthy that walking barefoot wasn’t an option. The kitchen cabinets were covered in grease, and the cookware and utensils were extremely cheap and unsanitary. A strong, artificial air freshener was clearly being used to mask the smell of smoke and stale odors, making the environment even more unpleasant. The bathroom was in terrible condition. The shower was extremely small and impractical, and the flooring was lifting, exposing dirt, debris, and even garbage underneath. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority anywhere in the unit.We were provided only four towels for four people for an entire week, along with just three rolls of toilet paper. The hand soap was watered down to the point of being unusable. The dish rack was dirty
