The office on-site did not manage the room we were in. Different companies seem to own different rooms. On the day we left, the toilet stopped flushing. On our way out I went to the office on-site to inform them, they said that was not their unit, they don't manage it. Not sure how you'd get an issue fixed, thankfully for us the issue happened as we were preparing to leave. The suites are nice. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware and dishware. Having a washer and dryer in the suite is hugely convenient, you can pack less clothes and won't have a lot of dirty clothes to wash when you get home. The mattresses on the beds were very comfortable, I slept very well, as did my wife and kids. The property was mostly quiet during sleeping hours too. The multiple pools and hot tub on site were nice, our kids enjoyed them a lot. It is mildly inconvenient for the parking garage to be separated from the lodging building by a block, but it wasn't a huge deal and finding available parking in the parking garage was always easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Carolinian and would not hesitate to return!

For the price I’d say it was worth it. The condo was fairly clean, easy to navigate, beach was great, pools left a lot to be desired but the kids still had fun. No hot tub. There were cockroaches outside but didn’t have any issues inside. Cable tv was meh. All in all we’d stay again. If you’re not expecting top notch luxury you’ll be satisfied whether you bring kids or not.

We chose the Carolinian for our family vacation this year. It was on the 20th floor and it was decent. First night after 6hr drive we found the bed was broken. I reported it and they fixed it the next day which was very nice. There is no house keeping for 5 days stay. (Extra charge) They provide enough towels and toiletries but no trash service and only 1 trash bag. I had to take out the trash out everyday just like we do on our daily lives. Not a big deal. The condo had washer and dryer and comfortable rooms bathrooms were clean mattresses were comfortable. View was amazing!!! Kitchen was clean no bugs and all the utensils to use was a plus since we love to cook. Regular coffee maker no k-cup style maker. All flatscreen tv were nice to have since we love tv at night. The only down side of all this was the parking lot is a block away which is inconvenient and not having at least 1 room service for a 5 night stay. Other than that it was decent stay. It could be better.
