3 Palms Oceanfront Hotel and Suites

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The recent hurricane Matthew ruined the carpets on the ocean front rooms but the staff have us a suite with a side view with no upcharge. The hotel is beautiful and very clean.

This hotel was very reasonable in price and in a good location within walking distance to family kingdom and water park, etc.. Bed was comfortable.

parking lot is one block be hide other building if full parking lot under building.

Lots of noise on the lower floors since it backs up to a parking deck.

Awesome, I used this trip as a self care experience for myself. Feel totally refreshed after my visit to the beach

On the beach and in walking distance to nearby attractions.

This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach, so we did not know what to expect. We knew we wanted a hotel right on the beach and this hotel was right on the beach.

Bones of hotel are good, but sheets were worn and rough. Bedspread was only a sheet. Pillows were awful. The actual bed was quite comfortable. Toilet paper was on a par with a gas station,as were the tissues. Housekeeping consisted of bringing clean towels and coffee for the pot. They even pass you inthe hall to ask if you need housekeeping. Surface clean but some deeper cleaning needed. Parking was a block away but easy to get to. Proximity to the beach and attractions was good.

Bed was comfy. Close to shopping center and restaurants. Beach access was nice. Parking could be better though.

The hotel itself was decent, but considering the lower cost on it I was satisfied. The hotel was a tad dated and the pool was on the smaller side. As far as the "lazy river" it's a small loop and there is no automatic flow in the water to move you like a traditional lazy river so you just kind of lay there unless you move yourself. The hotel is right on the beach which is amazing! The parking "deck" was a nightmare. It was a small underground parking that could accommodate maybe 12 cars but the space was super tight and extremely hard to turn around if it was full. We did however have good luck finding parking on 8th ave where the hotel has 2 of their lots. Overall the hotel was pretty good

The hotel is close to the beach and the amusement park but about 3 miles from the boardwalk. Staff was friendly. Rooms was small but nice. Kitchenette was a nice plus. Parking was included and within walking distance. The driveway that was used to check in and out was VERY awkward and small. There was no sidewalk so we were afraid for our children while entering and exiting the building and it was not big enough to turn a car around in. I never saw anyone checking the chlorine levels in the pools, so I hope they were okay. Plenty of chairs around the pool. At night the millennials were VERY loud out on the strip with their modded trucks and exhaust. I recommend you prepare your children to see and hear things that are not age appropriate. The City Council should pass a law about excessive noise after 11 or 12 midnight. During the day, I was comfortable with my children walking about. Overall not a bad stay for the money during peak season.

Room dirty, no maid service, coffee pot in the room broken, very few staff on duty, no food available there, small parking area on site, most parking blocks from hotel. could see alge in one of two ourside pools. FIRST and Last Time I'll STAY THERE! , ,

Parking under the building is tight but ample parking in lots across the street.

Dirty, unfriendly staff, no availed food or beverages. Bar closed. Noises outside kept us awake two night. Sounds of gun shots. Make 3 inquiries to cab order for early flight. Morning if, cab was not there and gad to call two different cab companies. The cab that came was filthy and smell horrible.

very limited parking in hotel, other parking is a couple of blocks away. Hotel though was OK no frills Pool was not very clean. Watch out for jelly fish in ocean, very few but I got stung by the lone jelly fish- pretty painful.

Very friendly, great location and clean great value for the price we will definitely stay here again

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but it was a great value. I was pleasantly surprised, the rooms were clean, the staff was super and the bar was a great place to hang out and watch the game while sipping a beverage. I will go back again and tell my friends about 3 Palms.

Terrible experience I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms and bathroom not the cleanest and there were ants all over the walls on the bed just disgusting. They offered to have maintenance come check it out like I would stay in that filt. Never ever would I stay here again. Staff very unapologetic they just said you can call Monday to see about refund since manager wasn't on duty. I took pictures and videos wish I could post here but will on Google and FB

The room when we walked in was awesome until we started to move. First the sliding door handle broke which I fixed my self, it was so many of these black bugs on the balcony we never got to go out or enjoy it. The love seat was so dirty and wore out, when I toke a shower the water stated in tub two days before going down thank god it was two bathrooms, when we went out can came back there where these Hugh cock roaches in the room so we went back out to Walmart for bug spray. When we requested room service them came in and made the bed and that was it didn't even change the sheets. When we went to front desk to tell the lady there ask us what did you want us to do. So we decided since it was our wedding anniversary make the best of what we have and finished out our stay.

We had never stayed in this area of Myrtle Beach. We were pleasantly surprised with our suite and the space we had. We would return to the 3 Palms and hope to the next time we are able to make trip.
