Our room was on ground floor overlooking sea & swimming pool. Very nice flowering plants surrounding the hotel. Very nice restaurants within minutes walk. Quality breakfast enjoyed in a nice open balcony with a view of the sea. Front desk was helpful to give information.
This was a decent hotel in a great location. The beach is just steps away, and the cute, touristy part of town is just a 3-minute walk from it. The rooms and amenities are sparse, the bathrooms are small, and they could use better mattresses, but everything was adequate. It was nice to have breakfast included, and there was outdoor seating available. We didn't use the pool because it was too cool to swim, but it looked lovely.
It doesn't matter if your room have sea view or not. The sea is in front of hotel's outdoor (see photos). The hotel is clean. The pool in right place. Breakfast is good. Hotel (minus): Sleep/relax: I could prefer a better quality of mattress and pillows. Facilties in room: MiniBar: The minibar was empty w/o a bottle of water. Keep in mind to purchase some bottles prior your visit - The water in island is not Potable or safe to drink. Wifi: yes - free. Unlucky things happen during my visit: The wifi was down when arrived since very late at night. No Backup The morning of my leave all hydraulics were down. No backup. Summarizing my trip : My trip was about to arrive in a specific time and make a web presentation; the very next day to visit an important customer and make a deal. The presentation implemented with my personal internet BW and after a not so relaxed sleep i didn't had water for a refresh bath. rgs,
I booked this hotel for a last minute solo trip. The hotel is right in the middle of every place you want to visit in the city center of Mykonos. Views are breathtaking, the staff is attentive without being bothersome, and the grounds are beautiful. Stay here. You will not want to leave.
Excellent location - walk out the front entrance and you are on the beach and 100m flat walk from Mykonos Town waterfront and old Port. Very clean, spacious rooms with a balcony and excellent views over Mykonos town - great for watching the sun set! .Scrumptious breakfast with lots of fresh food, hot and cold options. Lovely gardens with a clean pool, and pool bar. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
My wife & I stayed here a few weeks ago and we liked it a lot, so the various reasons that the previous reviewers have already mentioned - we echo all their positive comments about Leto Hotel. We had a room away from the main hotel building. Room 407 turned out to be delightfully quaint - it was a unit with 2 small bedrooms, with a small kitchen and a veranda. It is probably the highest unit so we had to walk up several flight of steps but it was enjoyable. The view from the veranda or kitchen window is fabulous. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and the view from the dining area is fantastic. Leto Hotel is a really, really beautiful place to stay at while in Mykonos.
We have in past years had unsatisfactory experiences staying in over-priced, over-hyped so called "boutique" hotels in Mykonos, "boutique" covering a multitude of accommodation and location inadequacies. The Leto turned out to be a revelation and an excellent choice. We had a superior room looking out over the bay and gardens. The hotel could not be better located, sitting on the beach front in the centre of Mykonos town bay. Restaurants, bars and Little Venice are all within easy reach. Our room was large, clean, comfortable with a decent bathroom and lovely balcony. It felt newly refurbished. The hotel has a lovely pool, bar area and plenty of loungers in the garden if you just wish to relax. Public areas are generous reflecting the fact it was first built some 70 years ago when space was not so much at a premium. Reception was helpful and efficient as was the service generally. Not cheap, but better value for money than many in Mykonos. Would not hesitate to recommend or return.
All staff very warm, friendly and helpful. Front desk arranged sailing excursion with Set Sail Mykonos to Delos and Reneia -- highly recommend! Nice, clean room. Great view. Excellent location, walking distance to Chora. Nice breakfast buffet.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Our highlight was getting takeouts from the bakery next door and dining on our balcony which overlooked the bay and harbor! The sunsets were absolutely amazing and when comparing this to being served a meal at one of the waterside restaurants we felt that our hotel balcony was the winner! The hotel for the price was fair value. Staff were helpful and friendly! Breakfast not to great but at these prices it’s adequate!
We stayed for a week in mid-September and virtually all aspects of the Leto Hotel cannot be faulted - overall it was absolutely excellent. The location cannot be bettered by any other hotel of an equivalent standard, being on the edge of the harbour and old town with its vast selection of bars, shops, and restaurants. We paid a little extra for a superior double room with a sea view, (311) and it was well worth it. The bed was comfortable, the air-con was quiet and efficient, and the wi-fi was amongst the best I have ever encountered, working throughout the hotel as well as at poolside. Staff were very pleasant and courteous, and the lady who cleaned our room every day deserves a special mention as she worked like a demon and tidied everything impeccably. Great little bakery next door for cheap but tasty pastries and snacks. There is a single negative thing that the Leto has, which I have to say did not affect us at all, as we were there out of the main season. The pool area, including use of sun loungers etc, is open to the general public at no charge - this means that outsiders can take sun loungers, chairs, cushions etc leaving none for paying guests. We had no problems despite the hotel being almost fully occupied, but I note other reviews that stated this was a problem in high season, so it should be considered if you are thinking of visiting in July or August perhaps. Overall, a fabulous place to explore Mykonos town from - the location simply cannot be bettered.
