We had originally booked at another hotel, but there was an issue with our first night there, and they had booked us into here for one night. We were pleased with the hotel, the breakfast and the view from breakfast was great, the rooms were okay, a little bit outdated though, and I loved the balcony. The facilities and pool area were nice; I would return to this hotel.
Location is key if you like to walk around town and not having to take taxis or ride bikes after having few drinks. The hotel is in a very good location and has a nice pool. Rooms could do with remodeling but overall is well worth staying there. We had a great time and were in a group of eight couples celebrating a friend's 50th birthday.
We have booked Leto for our honeymoon from 7 to 10 sep, 2017 fully prepaid in advance with a confirmation letter from the hotel itself yesterday we are surprised by a call from the agency that it's overbooked and they r sending us out to another extremely distant hotel that we had originally paid for much lower but we insisted to b in the city we v been calling the agency constantly but they have forced us to change the hotel since the reservation Mgr did a mistake and overbooked. If u r the Gm of this hotel and u c this post the least lesson u can teach ur employees is to contact the clients and explain to them the situation up until now no one is answering in the hotel they always tell us the reservation Mgr is not available it's the worst experience ever I don't advise anyone to book that unprofessional hotel.
When in Mykonos (I've been there 8 times by now) I like to have dinner and drinks in the town at night. So if staying in a hotel which is not in town we had to drive back by car in the early hours which wasn't convenient for a number of reasons. One of us had to be careful not to drink too much, all four of us had to leave at the same time, the small roads are usually dark at night... So we decided to try a hotel in town. Last year we were not pleased with our choice but this year we had it right. We stayed at Leto Hotel. It's location is perfect, very near the shops and restaurants and yet it is a quiet hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, nice pool area. Also very nice view from our tiny balcony.
Letos is at the best location if you want to stay at mykonos city . Able to leave the hotel and walk all over the gorgeous little city. The hotel has a incredible potential if they decide to invest some money on it. The pool area could be amazing. If they put some money on it and also rooms are very dated. Breakfast was alright .
Everyone at the hotel is very friendly but the concierge she is amazing taking care of all your reservations and needs. The best cleaning ladies I've seen in a long time, not only cleaning your room but arranging and folding your cloth every day. Rooms are small and not fancy, but the location is amazing at the entrance of downtown Mykonos. Cheap compared to there hotels.
I've walked past this hotel on many occasions while coming into Mykonos Town on previous holidays, it has to be said that it is in the most fantastic location right on the edge of the harbour, so this year we decided to book on the basis of its location and the rather swanky looking exterior. The location and the views did not disappoint. The pool area and breakfast area along with our room has stunning views across the harbour. However and it's a big however, my feeling is, this hotel relies totally on its location for the vastly inflated prices it charges. The public areas need updating (particularly the breakfast area) which looks outdated and tired. Breakfasts were adequate but nowhere near as good as other hotels we have stayed at on the island. The hotel also need to work on corridors to the rooms which appear to have loose drain covers and a very unpleasant smell emanating from them. Rooms are in desperate need of some care and attention. The furniture and pictures are very outdated and not at all the quality you might expect at these prices. The bathrooms too need updating and the plumbing needs attention. Maid service was very good and the rooms were always made up to a high standard. Hotel staff were polite and helpful but not overly friendly. In a budget hotel this wouldn't bother me but at £2.5k for two people for a week, you want some serious attention!! So, location, views and convenience yes. Facilities, accommodation and value for money...wouldn't consider going back. My advice to the hotel: go and have a look at the Semeli just up the hill from you or the Myconian Imperial and see the exceptional and outstanding quality they provide for their guests.
We love the Leto hotel. Situated at the waterfront - few mins bus ride to the ferry terminal. Whitewashed building with breathtaking views from our balcony. Spacious rooms. Walking distance to the famous windmills and all the restaurants/attractions. Beautiful gardens. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Perfect!
Lets start with the positives: the location is extremely convenient, and some of the staff doe really seem to care. That's about it, lets now move to the negatives: the hotel is clearly designed to maximize profit and not offer service. We were given rooms on the ground floor, next to the reception, one can only imagine the noise not just because of the foot traffic but also due to an unexpected element: breakfast! The rooms were situated right under the breakfast room & terrace, hence we had a daily breakfast reminder at 7am from all the chairs and tables pulled around. These rooms should not be there, and for sure not for their price! Avoid 101 & 102 like the plague! Upon complaint, the morning concierge shrugged.... Touch luck travellers, you are going to Mykonos and expect to get service your money's worth?
Great location and proximity to town! Doesn't get much better. The staff is also very friendly and nice. The rooms however are pretty darn bad. AC took 3 hours to cool off my room, bathroom was small and very old, design/furniture hasn't been updated in 20 years and my room smelled of cigarette smoke.
