Lovely boutique hotel with a lovely welcoming entrance. Very easy to walk around and enjoy the town. The staff was most welcoming and in particular, the gentleman in the breakfast room, where we were offered a wide choice of delicious breakfast treats. Clean and comfortable room. A very enjoyable stay.
We stayed for 2 nights during the Easter break. The Hotel arranged for a taxi service to pick us up from the airport which was very well worth it, since we did not rent a car. The manager upgraded my room for 10 Euros to the corner room with a view and balcony. The view from the balcony is pure Mediterranean scenic joy - cruise ships sailing in and out, sunset in the distance and the classic blue & white buildings looking up the hillside. The breakfast area is large and has a great choice of items for people used to European continental style breakfast. The beach is literally outside the hotel and the main areas are about 5 mins walk. It is close to the embarkation area for the Delos tours - definitely a must see if one is interested in archaeology and excavations. The hotel is also very close to the Sea Jet embarkation area which we took to go to Santorini and is about a 5 mins walk, although we took a cab since we had a lot of luggage and dragging it across would have ruined the wheels. The manager(s) at the desk are very helpful and arranged for a tour guide with a car to drive around MyKonos for 2-3 hours. We saw the view of the island from the Lighthouse, the famous beach bars - Namos, Scorpios and some others whose name I cannot remember, all in addition to an old monastery where nuns live till this day. We did not use the pool facilities since the water was not warm enough. Note, the only complaint that I had was the balcony has wooden boards and one of them was breaking off - told the manager about it and they were trying to get it fixed but because of low season and Easter it was difficult to get things done ! Overall a FIVE STAR experience at Hotel and would recommend it very highly.
We arrived before the rooms were ready, but they stored our luggage and got us situated in a timely manner. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did upgrade to a superior room with a superior view. The location is perfect. All the shops and restaurants start about a block away. Leto was the first true hotel built on Mykonos, but has been kept updated with modern facilities. Mid-April is a nice time to visit if you aren’t a beach person with cooler weather and smaller crowds. Not everything is open yet, from restaurants to the small museums, but the breezes are warm and the Greek coffee is hot.
We stayed here for 3 nights in early April. The weather was nice in the afternoon & people were sunbaking, but not warm enough to swim. The hotel is in a great location. Easy to walk to/from the port & all the main attractions - little Venice, windmills, Mykonos town. We personally enjoyed the view by sitting on our balcony every afternoon with a wine & a good book. The rooms are spacious. Leto is a boutique hotel, modern & nice breakfast. The staff were friendly.
We arrived early April and the Island was just setting up for the season. The full hotel facilities were not available as the restaurant was not operational and the bar opened during our stay. When it did the barman was exceptionally attentive and made some blinding G&T's. The location of this hotel is faultless, sitting on the waterfront with easy access to the town. If your driving there is no parking but a large public car park at the new port is free and only a few minutes walk away.
As many point out, the location is very convenient, however, the rooms were sparse, dated, and looked like they were very worn down (e.g. cabinet door to the mini bar was barely hanging on). During our stay there was a lot of noise pollution - doors loudly slamming constantly, early morning (7am) wall banging. Also, this hotel has the WORST mattresses I’ve ever slept on - uneven slope you feel the gravity pulling you down off the bed, while the springs want to pierce the bedsheets and your skin. Last, one of the bathroom lights didn’t work and there was broken porcelain near the metal flush lever. On the positive side, our room had an amazing view and the location truly is unbeatable. Also, for the most part, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent.
Pros: Great location. Right on the water. Near a plethora of shopping and dining. Parking is a probably a problem in high season, but we were there when it was slow. Very good buffet breakfast. Nice looking hotel. Decent rooms. Good size. Cons: There is an elevator, but it starts on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans). That means you have to carry your luggage up 1 flight of stairs. No biggie, but you have to wonder why they don't have the elevator coming to the ground floor. Might be difficult for some people. The beds are really 2 single beds pushed together. I hate that. There is a big crack down the middle of the bed. The staff ate definitely not going the extra mile. They are curteous, but that's as far as it goes.
One short walk and you're in the middle of the maze of cute streets and alleys that define Mykonos Town. Stunning views from large private balconies (all facing the harbour and sea) make for perfect viewings of magnificent sunsets. Rooms are clean & spacious, staff was helpful and wifi connection was great! Highly recommend this hotel!
Our room was on ground floor overlooking sea & swimming pool. Very nice flowering plants surrounding the hotel. Very nice restaurants within minutes walk. Quality breakfast enjoyed in a nice open balcony with a view of the sea. Front desk was helpful to give information.
This was a decent hotel in a great location. The beach is just steps away, and the cute, touristy part of town is just a 3-minute walk from it. The rooms and amenities are sparse, the bathrooms are small, and they could use better mattresses, but everything was adequate. It was nice to have breakfast included, and there was outdoor seating available. We didn't use the pool because it was too cool to swim, but it looked lovely.
