We stayed 4 nights in June. It is close to the train station which is a plus when traveling and not wanting to pay for a cab. We were on the top floor and had a beautiful view of the church down the street. The ceilings on the top floor were a bit frustrating as they sloped over the one side of the bed so you needed to keep that in mind when getting out of the bed on that side. The front desk was helpful but the gem of this hotel is Carlos our bartender. We were lucky enough to meet him our first day there and he asked us what our plans were. We told him we didn't really have any, he asked what kind of things we enjoy doing. We told him we enjoy seeing scenery and nature, he knew just the places for us to go. He wrote down some information for us for each day we were there and he did not disappoint us. We took day trips and saw the most breathtaking and beautiful sites all of which we would have never seen without him. We were able to go back each night and visit with him and show him the pictures of where we went. Carlos is a dedicated worker who loves his job and loves meeting people from all over the world. We highly recommend talking to him and getting the local point of view on where to go and what to do.

We stayed 4 nights in July. The pics on the website were promising. I called the reception 2 weeks upon our arrival to make sure we are getting a double bed and not two single beds, because we are a couple. The girl on the phone said it will ne arranged and confirmed the double bed. When we arrived both receptionists (usually work evening shifts) gave me the two single beds room. When i told them that l called in advance and asked them for a double bed, they said they didn't get any info about the double bed, and gave us the twin bed room - said there is nothing they can do. On top of that we paid for a "superior" category and were stuck with a standard room which was very small and not as pictured. Only AFTER I complained for 10minutes until they finally said to come back the next day and they will give us the superior room with a double bed (that we originally should have gotten in the first place). The next day they gave us the new room - we enter - and there are two single beds. Ar this point we didn't say anything since the receptionists are obviously not interested in making the guests feel well taken care of. Also, the wifi wasn't working one night and they couldn't help us, they just looked at us bluntly. We were appalled by the impoliteness of the staff - I worked at a hotel and that should be the number one thing to make sure the employees display. STAFF : 0/10.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Martin at the desk was amazing and his knowledge of the area helped us find a restaurant each night and a few other items of interest. Was glad to upgrade to the room with a/c and we had a great view of the church towering over the building behind us. Felt looked after and my wife and I completely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable stay in a great location. Thank you for making our stay that much better!

I booked this hotel because it closed to the place I arrived from Milan. The staff was nice welcoming us even though it was almost in the middle of the night. The breakfast was a delight. The room was nice with a good view of the garden. I love the waiting lounge in front of the receptionist, it was really instagramable with a good spot to take a picture. Well done guys.

Less than 10 minutes walk from the Central Station this is a comfortable hotel with rooms a bit on the small size but ok. The breakfast is good and the staff are charming, special mention to Carlos who runs the bar in the evening - an excellent and friendly chap. I would stay here again if I return to Munich.

We stayed in TRYP hotel for a week. During that time someone came to our room twice without knocking and with their own key. When the guy saw us he ran away without saying anything and there was no cleaner's equipment outside of our room. We really felt that our privacy was threatened while our stay. In addition, the "real" cleaners started to beat the doors and shout in the hallway already after 8am. They asked super loudly every 10-15 minutes if they could clean the room so there was no chance to sleep longer than 8:30. Standard room was worse than 2-star hotel room, so we wanted to upgrade our room after 2 nights. There was no AC (among other problems like horrible noises from the street) in the standard room but luckily the upgrade was reasonably priced and staff was friendly in the reception. The normal room was a lot better but every day in the cleaning session the cleaners left AC running with full speed and windows open for the rest of the day, so obviously TRYP is not an environementally friendly hotel even though they claim so. The location and price are OK, but you do not get 4 star experience here as promised.

Good location 10min walk from station. Friendly staffs at welcome But do you believe rooms without airco in 4 star hotel in 2017? Outside was 28c today and in the room is 26c And they gave us a ventilator. That's all

We stayed in Munich for 5 nights and we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was in a great location being only 10 minutes from the train station. It was nice and quite and the staff were also really helpful.

We were travelling by train from England to Italy and decided to break our journey by spending 2 nights in Munich and stayed at the Tryp hotel; this being within easy walking distance from the main station. The hotel is modern and functional; the room was comfortable. The room was provided with a portable air conditioner, which would have been too noisy to have switched on through the night if we'd needed it. Breakfast was the usual buffet but with a huge amount of choice, which we greatly enjoyed. To access the free wifi required a process of logging on; something we had to repeat several times during our stay, and there is a somewhat restrictive limit to 2 devices per room. We had no free wifi on the morning of our departure. The hotel is in a quiet location but we were woken before 6am on the first morning by anti-social noisy residents in an adjacent apartment block, something which may have been outside the control of the hotel.

At arrivial, my booking could not be found in the computer. Only after I handled by printed confirmation it was finally found. Next morning, the booking for breakfast was not found at the breakfast desk. Additionally, the "free" internet is only 100MB, which was gone after fetching the email. Fortunately you could subscribe to some sort of club to get unlimited traffic, but nevertheless every connection seems to be dropped after a few minutes, so a stable connection to the cooperate network was impossible. Last upon IT related stuff on my departure it was impossible to print the bill which was then sent to my email address - not as a normal document, as a scan of a printout! (So quite big, such a email would have used a big about of that ridiculous 100MB.) On the other hand I quite liked the room and the bed - with some good things a the safe, the small fridge and the curtains which keep out almost all light, but also strange details which should be improved. First, the entrance to the shower is very tight as the door opens to the inside and you have to move around it. Secondly, you have quite some power sockets at the desk, but none to charge your mobile during the night but to have at close to check the time. Additionally, the order of the TV programs was quite strange and the TV was always started which "Channel 0" with no program at all. Next point that "Channel 1" is a Spanish TV channel - so you realize you are in a Spanish hotel brand. Next time you realize this is the breakfast. It has quite some choice at fruits and juice (with very tiny glasses), but on the other hand very tiny buns (about half the size to the normal buns in Germany) and a very limited choice of cheese (only one kind) and sausages (3 kinds, but one is a typical Spanish one). Last think I quite liked was the sauna which was a bit hard to find (there is no hotel folder with such information in the room). Also a strange habit of the hotel staff is to put the bucket into the sauna, so the shovel will be very hot if you want to use it.
