This was our second stay at the Schiller, and any return to Munich will be here again. The hotel is so welcoming, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the breakfast is plentiful with everything imaginable, and the location is perfect. It’s a short walk from the train station, which is also a hub for the city transportation, so everything is within easy reach. We were there in December, and there were Christmas decorations in the lobby and breakfast room, and cookies at the entrance. All together, a very wonderful stay.

Room was clean but bed frame sounded like it was going to break every time you moved. Mattress was lumpy. Towels could stand to be renewed, bit threadbare. Size of room was small to maneuver around with 2 adults. Staff was friendly and helpful.

On the plus side the hotel is conveniently located to railway station a short walk away with access to all the city’s transport networks. The staff were helpful, and the studio with balcony was clean and spacious and bed comfortable. On the minus the grey room décor is dreary and the city view a disappointment, overlooking a somewhat neglected balcony and across to uninteresting roof tops with one or two city buildings far in the distance. The kitchenette was not well appointed with no wine glasses, kitchen knife or microwave utensils and the bath towels were thin and tiny. In summary a mixed experience.

Super great location

Super Great location right on main train door step and the heart of all key action for travellers. Train access with lots of lifts and escalator access for big luggage. Dining and accessibility to daily needs perfect in underground train station. Hotel room super clean, safe, comfy bed, bathroom shower pressure great. I didnt have bfast there but seemed popular with guests. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a suite, which was huge. There was an entryway with a small bathroom, closets, a living room area with a pull-out bed, a desk, and a kitchenette with a sink and dish washer. The bedroom was large with its own large bathroom and a king-sized bed. There was a balcony with a few chairs that overlooked the driveway leading into the hotel. Not a great view but not a terrible one either. The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful, and the breakfast options (while a little overpriced) were varied.

The location of hotel is the best walkable to train station and top tourist site. The staff in the hotel was impressive. They were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who visit Munich.

Nice Hotel in Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Schiller5 Hotel. It is less than a block away from the Haupbahnhof so transportation is easy, and it's also walking distance to Marienplatz which is convenient. The streets around the hotel are very busy and noisy with construction but we didn't hear it in our room. I read previous reviews about the neighborhood being not so great. Yes there are some homeless people around, but no worse than most large cities and we felt safe. We loved the breakfast which was fabulous, with a large selection of hot and cold items.

Super nice stay, very clean. The only negative thing is the noisy neighborhood. Right downtown and very close the Haupbahnhauf train station. Nice to have beverages refreshed in room each day if you like.
