Very noisy , everything is very old, good location - close to central station, airport bus, old city

third stay in R.-Hotel. Optimal location for visiting Munich specially when traveling by train. Great breakfast, no need to eat in again before evening

munich was under a intens e summer heath spell. Room had no Airconditionung. We cleaned out the fridge every night from its contents of beer and all soft drinks. It was so hot. When we checked outwq, we were told, that therwe was no charge for the use of the bar n our room. A great and welcomned gesture which saved us 50 Euros. Otherwise, breakfast was o.k., nobody was hungry because of the heat...

Breakfast was great!! Room was good for what was there. No coffee in room, old tv, not many extras. The staff was very nice, breakfast was full buffet (excellent) and location is right across the street from the main train station.

Location is great. close to the central station but quiet and clean compared to other hotels nearby.

The hotel fully meets the expectation of what one understands under "value for money". It still shows it was a noble hotel in the '60 years, but it certainly needs a new make up, with some refurbishment of its furnitures. The bathroom was OK, but it shows its age. The room itself was very large and had all what it is needed for a comfortable stay, but - as said - everything in old style look. The breakfast was in price included and was reach and of excellent quality. The hotel location couldn't be better: directly at central station, with a comfortable large garage. All in one: an excellent hotel when considering its price and its location

Hotel is in a great location, nice and quiet. Food selection needs further improvement but overall is worth the money.

The room was hot at 11pm and stayed hot all night. There was no air conditioner. I opened the windows, it cooled down, but got hot in an hour again in the middle of the night, even though it was cool outside. There is no separate shampoo - it's a washing liquid in a bottle on the wall. The bottle was empty in my shower stall, and I had to step out of the shower several times to use the bottle above the sink. The receptionist took no note of the room number after I complained about this during the checkout. On the positive side, the room was perfectly clean, the breafast was nice, a good variety of food, the location is one walking block from the exit of the railway and subway station.

Horrible, tired, worn out and dirty., on one of the busiest streets, loud, hot and should be avoided.

My experience was decent. The room was small serviceable but not the kind of room you would want to spend any real length of time in. Fortunately I was there on business and wasn't in the room much. Convenient to the trains and a good value for the middle of summer in Munich. Good wi-fi. No A/C, but you could open the windows which was fine with me. The staff and desk help was top notch!

Will recommend this place to other people. Not only is the room very comfortable the breakfast is great and staff if very helpful.

arriving by train it's superb to join the hotel walking there. Subway and tramway to explore the town's "musts" all so practically close. Rich american breakfast buffet keeping you up the whole day. Best are the slightly huger two-beds rooms.

Hotel desk staff and breakfast staff are all very friendly. Good location near the HBF train station. The hotel is quite old, the elevator is very small hardly fit 2 people with 2 suit case. There is no air condition in the room. Room is clean, the price is right! Overall we are happy with the stay. Room #544 Mimi

This is labeled as a four star hotel. It is worse than a two star!!!! We thought what we were getting was clean remodeled rooms that the website shows. We did not. I have never stayed in such a dirty uncomfortable room. The room looked like it had the same furniture from the 80s, and in condition from then as well. Lampshades were stained. Carpet was dirty. Bed was hard (could not get to sleep). You could hear everything going on outside. The elevator holds 2 People, not comfortably. The only positives were location by the central train station, the breakfast was ok, and the staff was ok as well. I spent 330 a night to stay here during octoberfest. What a waste of money!! Opt to say further at a nicer place and take the train to octoberfest.

It was a nice hotel by the train station with a nice breakfast.

The hotel really is like a 2 star hotel in the states. The bed was a twin bed and very uncomfortable with no A/C. It was clean, however. I would compare it to any budget hotel in the states. The best thing about it is that it is like one block from the central station. That is a plus. The price was very expensive for this hotel. The breakfast is ok, probably worth 5-10 euros. The staff was helpful and friendly..
