The rooms are small and simple in this primarily business(man) oriented hotel. I put it that way because the clientele at the superb breakfast was about 90% male and seemingly dressed for and discussing business. Although the rooms are small, they are clean, basic, and comfortable, and include a few free items in the mini-fridge (a cold beer after walking around is a nice touch). Some rooms apparently have air conditioning but ours did not, and there were a hot few days in Munchen in late June, so the fan was blasting. They have a sister hotel right around the corner and it has AC in some rooms, as well. Located on a small side street with no real parking, you are best not having a car here. However, the hotel is a 3 minute walk to the Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn station (Metro), so a car is rendered unnecessary anyway. This station is one stop from the central train station (HauptBahnHof), and therefore easy to connect to the major rail services and the airport (about 30-40 minutes by train from the central train station). And the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the central old town part of the city. Thus, a perfect and totally safe location, in my opinion. The small street can be a bit noisy until the late evening, and then it cranks up again around dawn. As a result, if you have a room facing the street it may be loud from time to time. We found the staff to be quite helpful and friendly despite some other comments on this site. There is a miniature elevator that is slower than molasses but that prompts one to use the stairs and check out the quirky art that lines them. I cannot say enough about the breakfast with multiple fresh breads, fruits, veggies, cheeses, meats, eggs, yogurts, cereals, jams, and pastries. Outstanding! If you need to wash clothes there is a coin operated laundry about 10 minutes walk straight away from the Sendlinger Tor on the street that runs directly out of the old town. It is on the opposite side of the street from the hotel, just past the next subway station. It is open until 11PM, and there are bars and restaurants to hang around in nearby while you wait for your clothes. Personally, we would pick this place or its sister hotel around the corner again, but would get a room that is off the street and has AC (at least in the summer).

Very kind welcome, nice receptionists as well at check in and check out. Clean rooms with free drinks in mini bar; reception with free nespresso coffee. Excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice and a big variety of food, good coffee and home made jam. The location is perfect, next to city center

Very nice small hotel just a few minutes from Altstadt and a minute from U-Bahn station. Comfortable rooms, very good price and great and very tasty breakfast. Complimentary mini bar was a pleasant plus. The only minus is that rooms are without air condition so it was really hot in our room. Opening the window was not a solution because of the street noise. I guess it is better to ask for the room on the other side of the building.

I have recently had a bad experience from this hotel. I made a booking which I had to cancel. Cancellation went through fine with no extra charge and I got a confirmation message for it. Later I find out that they had charged my credit card for a full night's stay despite the cancellation. They have not replied to my messages about this matter. As they seem not to respect their own cancellation rules towards prospective customers nor provide any customer service I will have to give them negative review. This has been a very bad experience, one of the worst in any hotel that I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world.

A small hotel near the old town and away from the railway station. Perfect location. Near Sendlinger Tor. Rooms were very comfortable. Tiny bathroom. Not on a main street. Quiet. No noise except the birds in the morning. Fantastic breakfast. Best in two weeks in Germany. You can even squeeze your own OJ. All - in -All this hotel is a great value for the money.

We stayed here for several nights where doing a tour of Munich and Bavaria. The hotel is in a very good location, walking distance to das Neues Rathaus and the rest of the Altstadt attractions. Perhaps what I enjoyed most about the hotel was the excellent complimentary breakfast, which really kicked the day off nicely. The rooms are a little quirky but in a good way. I would highly recommend the hotel and it is really good value.

I had a single room, comfortable bed and slept well. Room not large, good sized bathroom. Free mini bar in room and valuables safe. Very clean. It certainly represented good value for money. Staff friendly and informative. Quiet location. Excellently located for buses and metro station, could travel to centre of Munich in minutes - even walking did not take long ! Free Wi fi which worked well.

Walking distance from town centre, around the corner from major public transport routes down a quiet little street is Hotel Muller. Breakfast included is generous and delicious Staff were excellent! I had to check out at 0630 one morning and was told to leave the key in the box outside the night before, however when I got downstairs the staff were already there getting breakfast ready. Even though I was there way before breakfast time, they gave me a take away coffee and some pastries and took the key off me. They wemt the little bit extra, which I really appreciated! Will definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff always looking for the best solution for their guests. My room was very clean, comfortable but maybe a bit small. Parking facility was limited to 10 cars on the basis of first come first serve but I managed to find a spot on the street without too much difficulties. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the historical center which makes it very well located

Absolutely fantastic hotel with brilliant staff. I stayed for 3 nights on a tourist break. The welcome was fantastic and friendly, the room modern, spacious and clean. Also a lovely hot and cold buffet style breakfast with a wide variety to chose from. I do not have to look for another hotel for my next trip - I will booking Hotel Muller. Excellent location, a minutes walk from an underground station, and about a 15min walk through a nice area of shops bars etc to the city Centre. Totally safe area.
