We stayed here 5 days, including the first weekend of Oktoberfest. The location was awesome: very close to old town, near public transportation and close enough to Oktoberfest (we walked or took taxis). The hotel is small but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was one of the better offerings that I've at hotels of this style - very delicious! We enjoyed our stay and that the accommodations were good value for what we paid, especially during Oktoberfest. There is no hotel bar, but they stock your fridge each day with free items.

This is just the right distance from the hustle and bustle, but is close (one stop on metro or less ~20 mins on foot) from Marianplatz, which is the centre. Reception is friendly and helpful. Room was too warm even with the windows open. However, that is the only slight negative. Breakfast was very good. Good quality/price ratio.

We stayed at hotel muller for 2 nights It is a lovely hotel, nice rooms well presented, very clean, bathroom was a little on the small side but sufficient for our needs Breakfast (continental) was included in room rate. Not a bad selection of food for a small hotel. Friendly and helpful staff Great location from the underground It took about an hour from the airport to the hotel on train and underground and only 200 yards from station I would recommend this hotel and will hopefully stay again in the future

Well situated at the southern end of the old city (near tube station). Friendly staff at the reception, car park for 16 euros, which is fair enough. The room (n°53 - this is important) was large and comfortable, with an especially large bathroom. However, when we arrived, we wondered why all the windows were open and a fan was on. We soon understood the reason. There was a dreadful smell coming from the bathroom, probably due to blocked drains somewhere in the building. I know these things do happen, but the staff knew, they gave us the room without telling us - and charged the same price, stink or no stink... Having a shower in the morning was quite an unpleasant experience. Breakfast was good - excellent the first day, a bit more disorganised the second day. Some of the chairs in the breakfast room, however, were rather filthy. All in all, I have mixed feelings about Hotel Mueller: potentially a very good place, but the problems should be attended to. We spent our third night in Munich in another hotel, which was cheaper, and definitely better.

I've been here for a week. Main purpose to get close to a sorlinger tor platz. The position is really convenient and strategic. the metro is just 2 min walking and it's a cross where you can get everywhere. Including to and fro the airport (about 50 min). Walking distance to the downtown (altstadt). just 10 min and you are in Marienplatz. I goes without saying how worth that is. The hotel is reasonably clean. Gentle service. Really good quality breakfast. Right outside there is a private fitness club, big and well equipped. No convention with the hotel but a good service if you want under payment. If you are tired there are several good restaurants right outside the Hotel (I tried some of them). In the end I would consider to come back again also for business travels.

A small hotel but well kept and among the best breakfasts for a hotel this size for a long time. Bed was good, location was great (almost dry to the airport ion pouring rain with a whimsy umbrella) and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay again. Our room did not have AC (a big fan tough) but the windows opened wide.

Very handily located in a side street near the Sendlinger Tor, which means it's only 100m to the nearest tube station too. We found the staff to be courteous and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the breakfast (buffet) had a huge range of very good food. Nice to have a basket of oranges on hand with a large lever operated juicer to get the freshest orange juice with your breakfast. We had a view of the side street from our 2nd floor room - there was little noise at night and we slept fine. We'd stay there again if revisiting Munich.

The rooms are small and simple in this primarily business(man) oriented hotel. I put it that way because the clientele at the superb breakfast was about 90% male and seemingly dressed for and discussing business. Although the rooms are small, they are clean, basic, and comfortable, and include a few free items in the mini-fridge (a cold beer after walking around is a nice touch). Some rooms apparently have air conditioning but ours did not, and there were a hot few days in Munchen in late June, so the fan was blasting. They have a sister hotel right around the corner and it has AC in some rooms, as well. Located on a small side street with no real parking, you are best not having a car here. However, the hotel is a 3 minute walk to the Sendlinger Tor U-Bahn station (Metro), so a car is rendered unnecessary anyway. This station is one stop from the central train station (HauptBahnHof), and therefore easy to connect to the major rail services and the airport (about 30-40 minutes by train from the central train station). And the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the central old town part of the city. Thus, a perfect and totally safe location, in my opinion. The small street can be a bit noisy until the late evening, and then it cranks up again around dawn. As a result, if you have a room facing the street it may be loud from time to time. We found the staff to be quite helpful and friendly despite some other comments on this site. There is a miniature elevator that is slower than molasses but that prompts one to use the stairs and check out the quirky art that lines them. I cannot say enough about the breakfast with multiple fresh breads, fruits, veggies, cheeses, meats, eggs, yogurts, cereals, jams, and pastries. Outstanding! If you need to wash clothes there is a coin operated laundry about 10 minutes walk straight away from the Sendlinger Tor on the street that runs directly out of the old town. It is on the opposite side of the street from the hotel, just past the next subway station. It is open until 11PM, and there are bars and restaurants to hang around in nearby while you wait for your clothes. Personally, we would pick this place or its sister hotel around the corner again, but would get a room that is off the street and has AC (at least in the summer).

Very kind welcome, nice receptionists as well at check in and check out. Clean rooms with free drinks in mini bar; reception with free nespresso coffee. Excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice and a big variety of food, good coffee and home made jam. The location is perfect, next to city center

Very nice small hotel just a few minutes from Altstadt and a minute from U-Bahn station. Comfortable rooms, very good price and great and very tasty breakfast. Complimentary mini bar was a pleasant plus. The only minus is that rooms are without air condition so it was really hot in our room. Opening the window was not a solution because of the street noise. I guess it is better to ask for the room on the other side of the building.
