We stayed here in March 2018 3 nights. Maybe we got upgraded? lived on 6th floor Huge room with a couch and 2 beds and bathtub. Breakfast was very nice with coffee to go and lots of different types of bread and cake. hotel staff was nice and the hotel was quiet. A French school class stayed at the same time so the internet was constantly blocked when les petit enfants where home. beds were comfy rooms clean and location ok. Would probably choose again for the low price 1464 Danish kroner for 3 nights via Amoma.

Having arrive late, my room was cold as heating not working. The male night receptionist offered to change my room, of which the first one had very poor lighting. In showing me this room he kept invading my personal space by constantly contacting my body and nudging me towards the wall. He then showed me another room which I accepted immediately as I did not want this man hovering over me. at 01.20am he called me on the telephone, asking me to promise him that I would not tell anyone and that he had a question to ask me. I refused, but asked him to tell me what the question was - he said he wanted to come to my room!! The worst part is that I asked to speak with the manager in the morning but he was too busy to attend to a serious complaint from a guest. I wrote him a letter straight away, and stayed a further two nights but to this day have not heard anything back from him. The receptionist manage finally heard my story on the day I was checking out of the hotel and she did say she would talk to the manager. I have never felt so unsafe in a hotel!

Booked the Vitalis on the way to Munich without knowing where we were going, except for a couple of fairly favourable reviews, that's the real benefit of review sites because we would not have fond here at all. A little out of town but a 10 minute walk to the underground soon sorted that. Good sized rooms, friendly staff and everywhere was clean and tidy. With the price we paid, good value too.

Have been travelling around Europe for two months and this is by far the worst place I have stayed yet. Rooms that smell like smoke, a bathroom that has the toilet right in the middle of the bathroom? Minimal PowerPoints, crappy wifi, minimal parking (which was actually too full during one of our nights). We booked a quad room, and the double bed was just a fold out lounge. It’s barely close to anything in Munich. I I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

At arrival rooms were open (both rooms!). Not unlocked, but wide open. This does certainly not give a very good feeling. Got in to leave my luggage and quickly leaving for late dinner. Upon return I found the patio door to be open as well, and me who'd left my computer at the room. Lucky enough for me noone had been there apparently. The day after, at check out, I clarified that I'd have breakfast only to pay. I got a closed envelope with the receipt, only to later find out that I had other costs on my bill. Customer service then refused to meet my request to see that cost was put on my bill and by whom. I can see my own responsibility in the matter, but clearly pointed out at check out, that I expected no other costs than breakfast. Totally unacceptable! Avoid this place.

So this hotel is definitely not 4 star - I would say 2 is more appropriate. First impressions from the outside of the hotel are not great and looks very dated and old and the reception also gives the same impression and has a weird smell about it. One of the lifts has what seems to be a large weight in it, which I can only guess is to keep it balanced! The room was immaculately clean - despite no shower gel in the shower. The beds are okay, prob too soft and the pillows are very small. My companion had a room on the back of the hotel and had a large balcony. The front of the hotel is opposite a large youth hostel so there was a lot of noise from children staying there which means you can't keep your windows open - and with no room a/c this would be a problem in the summer. Breakfast is very basic, stale bread and terrible eggs that only got worse over the 4 nights I stayed there - but there is a nice selection of continental meats. Location is okay - 30 mins drive from the hotel (cost 70 euros) and is a 20 min walk to the olympic park and 45 min walk into central Munich. I would say that the staff are helpful and very polite :-)

I'm very afraid of writing this review, I've never experienced so poor 4 star hotel experience. The hotel itself smells bad and it's quite old. There was no heating (c'mon we are talking about Munich not Maldives, heating is a minimum requirement), the room was old and the toilet was the strangest ever (see photos), the hotel manager was not in there for all the weekend. Let's say for sure I'm not going to stay in this hotel again.

Visited Munich for a little tourism and Oktoberfest, we stayed 4 nights in a quad room but really it’s just a double bedroom with two good single beds and the worst double sofa bed (and pillows) we have ever used! Was very uncomfortable, old and loud. Was imposible make any move trying to sleep well without wake up the rest of people in the room. The room itself was fine, had mini-fridge, big bathroom, all clean. Wifi didn’t work, at least in the fifth floor. Cleaning service start to knocking the door before to 9am and just opened the door but without wait answer, more than once time. We were a group of 8 people in two equals rooms and both with the same problem. Location was ok, well connected and quiet neighbourhood. Maybe in other seasons like a budget hotel is ok, but during Oktoberfest, for us, the rate was not worth the quality of the hotel.

The hotel is great. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Daniel is very nice, helpful and has a great sense of humor. The room is very spacious. As far as location, it doesn't really matter because we like to walk. I believe that that is best way to see the city. I truly enjoyed the stay and loved the city. I plan on coming back. There is so much more that we want to see.

Great accessibility to bus stops and it's accessibility to train stations. Comfortable rooms and lots of pamphlets for all you can do in Munich. Just opposite to gas station. So if you happen to be here on Sunday, most of retail stores (including Lidl) are closed. Here is where Gas station works great. Front desks are very helpful. Would like to come here again.
