This is a relatively new hotel, and the interior design and fixtures are modern. The location is excellent, with just a 5 minute walk to the town center, and the beautiful Asamkirche just a few doors down. The management, however, can improve greatly on customer service. House keeping knocked on my door at 08:30 (before I realized the room was missing a do not disturb placard), and when I later asked reception to have the room cleaned, the room was still not serviced after two hours out of the room. They were spotty on cleaning details, as both waste baskets were not emptied, and I noticed a leftover clipped toenail on the floor from a previous guest. I was aware, through past reviews on Orbitz, that there was no closet space. The three hangars on the wall were fine for my purposes of a short-stay visit for New Year’s. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a longer term stay with more than a carry-on bag. The amenities and service are spartan at best, and I would highly recommend one of the largest rooms available.
