Not really that impressed at the Hotel, did not like the location ( not the hotel's fault). Also the bathroom felt like the toilet was in the shower, totally lacking space. Staff was very friendly. But the hotel does not live up to its name. It feels rundown and in need of a major reno

Got a good room (211). Day 2, no hot water! Oddly enough, exactly the same thing happened to our travelling companions. We all got moved to other rooms and everything was good. The staff could not have been more apologetic and friendly, especially the bar attendant Patrick. We'd stay here again.

Stayed here in July 2017. Hotel was perfectly located for my business trip, however there was not much in the way of shopping or sightseeing nearby. It is in a quiet neighborhood, however their is construction work going on at the hotel, although I was never disturbed by this, rooms were well sound proofed, and they include ear pugs in the room!. Room itself was a nice size, I was traveling alone but it was comfortable for two people. Room and bathroom (good size bath/shower combo) was spotless, neutrally decorated, my room over looked the front entrance, not much in the way of views here as its a business/residential area. Staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke good English. Complimentary bottled water, and tea and coffee making facilities. Free wifi, safe, mini fridge, hairdryer, iron/ironing board & plenty of wardrobe space in the room. Hotel offers snacks/drinks for purchase from their "larder" down by reception. Hotel bar was small and right at the entrance. Breakfast room was spacious and offered plentiful hot and cold breakfast options, including eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurts, fruits breads and rolls, juices, tea & coffee. Room service was prompt, however it had a limited selection. Overall it was a nice place to stay and would return.

Limited staff , you need to handle the luggage by yourself. location is not very close to down town ( 15 min walk) No advantage of being SPG gold member as they are saying. No free car parking available

We stayed at this hotel while in Germany for our Eurotrip. It was clean and comfortable, which are big qualities. However, breakfast was 16 Euro per person (and that was with a discount). It was buffet-style but it didn't really have a big selection. There is no restaurant in the hotel that serves dinner, just a bar that serves bar snacks. The woman at the front desk recommended a local restaurant which was tons of fun and very delicious. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to Munchen Hbf station, and I suggest staying on the main road most of the way. The elevator always said to go UP even through we hit DOWN. Our body wash and shampoo dispenser was never filled until our last night's stay (we stayed for 3 nights)- but to be fair, I did not tell them it was empty, just assumed they checked it.

We stayed here for three nights in July. I am a Starwood junkie so I figured booking it would be a safe bet. Let me just start by saying that if you are used to Sheratons in the US, this hotel is really not very comparable. The hotel feels really small. There is an elevator, but it is tiny, so if you're traveling with family, you may not all fit in at once with luggage. The rooms are decently sized for Europe. We had trouble working the AC. It seemed to be set in a narrow range, preventing us from making the room any cooler. I was roasting the first night. The bathrooms are tiny and not particularly all that clean. Not sure I would go back to this place. It's a long walk to Marienplatz and the city center. And the construction is annoying. There is a nice quiet neighborhood just beyond the hotel.

Less than a week before our family trip, we were trying to book rooms for Munich for a last minute vacation to Germany. After extensive Trip Advisor research and checking availability for 1 room or suite to hold 4 people, we realized that is rare in Germany. Typically hotels require you to book 2 rooms as the max for a room is 3 adults (and they consider a 15 year old to be an adult). We then became even more price sensitive and decided on the Four Points. Yes, our rooms did face the construction (but most available hotel rooms in Munich at this late notice apparently do) but they didn't start until 7am or later and not on weekends. We were never woken up by the construction and our rooms appeared to have good sound proofing (if you're a light sleeper they do provide ear plugs in each room). The hotel is convenient to the Hackerbrucke SBahn Station (maybe 5 minutes walk with the ZOB (Central Bus Station) next door which has shops in it to get breakfast food) and Hauptbahnhof / Central Station one stop away (also walking distance which we did with our suitcases on the last day). The central station also has lots of restaurants for a quick meal. Since we arrived early to the Four Points (and I had not notified them in advance), our rooms were not ready. While they had the rooms cleaned (maybe 45 minutes to 1 hour), we used the free wifi in the lobby. We asked to get access to the first room as soon as it was available so we could start taking showers after our long flight from the United States. Unfortunately, despite the hotel being non-smoking, our first room smelled like smoke. Although the room smelled terrible, we went ahead and accepted it since we really wanted showers and to get unpacked so we could get on with our first day in Munich. When I mentioned the smoke to the front desk, they offered to move us (but we would have to wait again for the rooms to be cleaned) or they could spray the room. As I have allergies and I hate the smell of strong perfumes, I did not want this as that would result in two strong smells (the air freshener and the smoke). Being the "good mother" that I am, I had my 15 and 24 year old sons sleep in that room (room 205) and we were in room 206, which smelled fine. Besides the convenient location to the trains, each room also has a tea kettle, small empty refrigerator, adjustable height shower head with great water pressure, lighted make up mirror in the bathroom (and outlet for plugging in a curling iron), large coat hooks by the door, very comfortable beds, in room safe, and great wifi and AC. Other items they could improve on? The cleaning service was very basic. I think they may have just made the bed and that's it. On some days they did not wash the used tea cups, nor replenish the tea bags or complimentary bottled water for SPG Gold+ guests. The King beds also have these odd separate comforters for each side of the pushed together twins that make up the King bed (so forget snuggling with your significant other). The shower door is one of those with short glass that does not enclose the entire shower -- so if you're not careful, the floor will get wet. This is a really bad design. Other details: checkin is at 3pm, checkout is at 12pm. You can take the train from the airport to get to the hotel. We bought the group ticket (good for up to 5 people) and for unlimited trips until 6am the next morning, which was very inexpensive compared to a taxi. The area around the hotel is not scenic -- but we did not mind. Although there are no "grocery stories" nearby, there is a shop in the ZOB where you can pickup softdrinks and snacks (cheaper than in the hotel or across the street). There are two elevators -- one by the front desk and one towards the middle of the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor and the majority of the time took the stairs. All the staff spoke excellent English. Overall, we were happy with the hotel and would consider staying here again.

The website says construction nearby, but it is actually the same building. The room vibrated with jackhammers. You could not be in the room during the day. The bar is decent and there are dining options nearby but the neighborhood is not the best. I would not have felt very comfortable alone. Parking is expensive and also a mess with a very narrow parking garage that is difficult to navigate with anything but a smart car. The location is great for Oktoberfest but other than that, I do not recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Four Points in April 2016 and when I travelled with family for vacation in June 2017 to Munich, this hotel was already my preferred choice. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to Munchen HBF central station and about 10 minutes to Hackerbrucke train station. Saturn Electronics store was round the corner and Aldi Groceries Market was also within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The hotel alerted me at the time of my booking and a few days before my stay about a construction nearby and that it could be noisy during the day. I still booked a studio room for my family ( with 2 kids aged 12 & 8) for 4 days and my stay could not have been any better. We were greeted by a double rainbow from our balcony! My room was extremely large (for European standards) and had 2 queen beds, besides a sofa that can be converted as a bed. A nice work desk with LAN cable and multiple plug power points and a a huge balcony with cane chairs was part of the room. The best part of this room is that it has an exceedingly good kitchenette, with pans, utensils, microwave and a refrigerator. With a market close by our family was able to do some simple cooking, reheating without a fuss and were able to enjoy lightly cooked fresh vegetables during our stay. Our stay was extremely comfortable and I have posted some photos of the nice studio room that we stayed in. Highly recommended for families travelling with kids that would like to stay in the same room and great value for money! Thank you SPG and Four Points Munchen!

My boyfriend and I recently travelled to Munich for our first time and stayed at this hotel for two nights. Despite the construction, which we didn't hear at all (probably because it was the weekend), we had a wonderful stay! The room was huge, clean, and very well designed. It was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go and also a short walk from the main station, which we arrived and departed from. I would definitely stay here again.
