Four Points By Sheraton Munich Central4.0 out of 5.0

We stayed two nights immediately after arriving in Munich. It was all we have come to expect from Sheraton, with an especially helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. The Wifi worked better than anywhere else on our trip. Alerts concerning neighboring construction proved to be unnecessary. There was no noise and just a slight sidewalk detour as a result.
Thank goodness we only had one night booked here, b/c of the construction going on during the hours of 8 to 6 I believe ( there was a letter in room about it) Friendly staff I feel bad for the staff and all the surrounding area b/c it was giant machine jackhammer city!
There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel but it did not interfere with the quality of our stay. Great location in a safe area. Walking distance from main train station and walking distance to center of Munich. Underground parking available. Lovely large rooms are spotless. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Stopped by in Munich for 3d2n on our way to Paris and picked this hotel. Overall stay was okay. Mostly satisfied with the room size, amenities, the bath, comfy bed and location. It's really a plus for me that we got a room with a balcony. Just the information from the staff could be clearer and more accurate. During check in we were told that our breakfast was included for our booking. The next morning, in the middle of breakfast, we were told that it's not included and have to pay 16€ each. We only have breakfast there because being told that it's included. And mini bar was empty, but they provided alternative minibar at the lobby. The problem is, there is no price tag. So the same thing picked for two different day, with two different price. Not by much just 0.50€. But still the price vary. If I may suggest, be transparent, put a price tag or price list for the alternate minibar. Location wise, quite central. Just one stop from Munich Central Station. And a few stop away from Mariensplatz and other attractions. The nearest metro station is Theresienwiese, about 5-10 minutes walking. At this moment, there is renovation going on next door during the day, so if you're not going to stay in the room during the day, it's not gonna be a problem.
I had booked and paid to stay four nights at this hotel after a long flight we arrived at the airport at 22:50 and we had a private driver take us straight to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 23:45 only to be told that because we had arrived late they had given our room to someone else and because they were booked out we had to stay at another Sheraton hotel. They put us in a taxi to deliver us to the other hotel where the man at reception told us they could only accommodate us for one night because they were also booked out. By this time it was after midnight and there was nothing more we could do. Finally in the morning there were intelligent young women who sorted out the problem and allowed us to stay at the Sheraton Munich Westpark which is a lovely hotel in a much better location. If someone pays in advance for four nights then you do not sell the room to someone else what do they mean we were late !!!!!!!!
We spent 4 nights here and could not fault the staff or the accommodation. We had a wonderful room with a balcony, comfortable bedding and plenty of room for us to rearrange the contents of our luggage. While there appeared to be sites under construction surrounding the hotel, I do not believe they work over the weekend (Fri-Sunday, which is when we stayed.) Agree that the walk into the main part of the city is a little longer than anticipated, and that the walk back to the hotel made us feel a little uncomfortable. This however is not reflective of the experience of the hotel. Staff were always attentive and helpful when required. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had in a chain hotel. Many thanks for a great experience in what has become one of my favourite cities!
Excellent value for money for a hotel that has all you need for a short break in Munich, particularly if attending any festivals in therenweise (Oktoberfest location) closest hotel to this, 5 minute walk at most. Clean well maintained rooms and comfortable beds, nice bar area, train station 5 minutes to get to centre within 15 mins.
We spend two nights and it was a very comfortable hotel , nice room , close to October fest area and the center . Only negative point is the expensive parking 25 euros per day . There was parking space outsight the Hotel but you have to pay every 6 hours some euros (I don't remember exactly the price-not expensive)
This hotel has modern rooms and very friendly staff at the reception desk. My room had a big bathtub, modern furniture, huge bed, my own balcony, lots of satellite channels on the flat screen tv. The room also had a speaker in the bathroom so you could take a bath and listen to a music channel and just relax after a hectic day. There is a refrigerator in the room for your cold beverage. I can really recommend this hotel!
They still reconstruct the building directly behind the window and It is unbelievable noisy here since early morning. I normally book for 2 nights on the HRS platform. HRS call this a "hot" deal (149 € per night 😂 for a not really 4 star hotel) so i can't make a Storno. I asked the hotel for any accommodating but the management don't care it. So it was my first and last time that i staying here and book a hotel on hrs! Best kubilay
