I had an appointment near city center so i was searching available accor hotels in the area and for my bad luck i booked adagio and as a gold member i made online check in and also credit card guarantee to avoid any delay at my check in also requested early check in which is complementary based on hotel availability , arrived at 9:30 am and the reception lady asked me to fill a form i told her that I already did online she checked and then said sorry it wasn't printed then she asked for my credit card which i made payment for verification and then asked me that she will take amount as guarantee which i told her i already did online and showed her my bank sms and the email confirmation I received from hotel and she said no this is not on the system!!!!! Then she said that she will wait until her manager arrives to advise!!!! And of course as a conclusion there is no room available ( the hotel is half empty). Back on 2:30 took the room and they upgraded me to apartment instead of studio, its very noisy waked up several times on maintenance happening in the hotel last day it was infront of my door, the pillows and mattress are very bad no coffee or tea in the room ( i have stayed in different apartments hotels and always there is coffe for coffee machines), also found a paper with a mark that i could pay 1500euro if the alarm was off while using the kitchen !!! the view from my room is nothing looking on the back side of other old buildings. The only positive thing is the location near tram and subway and trains other than that no and also the area is turkish area and there is not much other restaurants you could find other than turkish. Also checkout went very smooth and staff was friendly.
We stayed at an apartment room after our booking was changed from the room we had originally chosen, it was a good deal as it was bigger on the other hand the "double bed" was quite literally two single beds put together and there was nothing to prevent them from spreading apart and the mattresses were really hard.
I have stayed at the Adagio Muenchen City Hotel. It’s close to the Central Train Station (HBF) and the subway (U) and easy to access. I personally experienced it when going to Nuremberg. The room was clean and quiet. I slept well and I will return in the next future.
This was my second stay and definitely won't be the last. All staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms are well maintained and well outfitted. I find it very easy to get to and from the main train station and also to enjoy the sights around Munich city. I stayed for two nights at the end of a business trip to relax and prepare for my long journey back to Australia.
I have been traveling to Munich for work in the last few years and tryng different hotels and apartament. this one was by far the best value for money. I highly raccomend it! Clean, nice, in the center!
On arrival we were welcomed with a smile and check in was very fast. There is complimentary ice water with lemons and small danish pastries if you arrive thirsty or slightly hungry. Having read previous reviews regarding the firmness of the beds and being a back pain sufferer, we asked for mattress toppers which were promptly fitted when we returned to the hotel later in the evening so great service. Unfortunately whilst this offered some respite it really wasn't enough. The mattress was so firm it was difficult to sleep on. Additionally there was only 1 pillow which was so thin you had to fold it over just to make what felt like a normal pillow. There were no additional pillows or blankets in the room. Storage is limited and I wouldn't use the kitchen through fear of setting off the smoke alarm which would result in a 1,500 Euro charge. The bathroom and walk in shower was very good but the towels were limited and quite small. Room cleaning seems to be a little hit or miss. On our second day our room was not serviced however on our final day the maid wished to service our room despite us advising that we would be checking out within the next couple of hours and we would continue to use the room? The location is OK and close to central station which provides good access to anywhere in the city. If you are looking for a budget hotel and don't mind sleeping on concrete then this will work for you.
This hotel is ideally located in the center of Munich. With steps from the main train station and all the attractions. Starting from the check in the staff greeted me in a very friendly and professional manner check in was smooth and quick. The rooms are very clean and elegant and modern design. I knew the room had a kitchen but what I found was beyond my expectations a fully furnished kitchen with a dishwasher fully loaded with silver and China a kettle and a coffee maker a microwave and a surprisingly large fridge and top mounted two heating plates and some pots and pans. The hotel is ideal for families Would definitely come again if I am in munich
The apartment was well equipped, kitchen had everything I needed. There was also a desk where I could comfortably work. The reception desk personnel was really friendly and helpful, checking was really fast. And it is close to the city center.
The hotel was located in the CBD and close to the train station. Basically all you need can get within walking distance. The facilities are great for couple or family. The staff generally was friendly and warm.
The hotel is good however the security is terrible. We left a piece of our car during the day and when we came back it had been stolen !! We requested access to camera recordings but it was not authorized.
