We were greeted by Adrian who was so helpful and personable from day one!!! We stayed back in May and the staff here are very well train and polite when it comes to customer service and will offer as much assistance as they can. We had issues with our airline carrier that was all over the news and the front desk offered to call on our behalf and looked to see if there was an office nearby. That above and beyond had left a positive impression ever since. We hope to return and see the finish project of the expansion. Currently the facility is undergoing a massive extension and Adrian was so kind enough to put us in the back and top floor Bc it is a bit quieter than the front side where the main highway was. The daily ongoing construction did not bother us at all. If you have a car, you will be asked to used the specific parking garage around the corner. They have reduced pricing and cost 13 Euros per day. We had rented a car to drive around Munich and to see the outskirts of the city, especially Neuschwanstein Castle which is a must!! (Buy tickets in advance) Check in and check out was quick and easy. Our room was perfect with cozy pillows and comfortable comforters, good size and made our stay also pleasant. We did have the breakfast included and the selection was healthy and delicious! The hotel is also a five minute walk to the train station, which is four stops to old town. The hotel does have day passes that covers up to 6 people I believed to use the metro. It's pretty easy to navigate around. We ended up using the metro just on our first day and drove elsewhere which wasn't too bad. Don't worry if you need any essentials, there's a market right next door. All major tourist sites are bit far so public transportation is a must getting to and from this hotel unless you have a car. Bc of the location of this hotel you have the options of using various metro lines. A++ all the way!
While, as others have mentioned, it is about 4 S Bahn stops to the city center, the lines that service this nice hotel make it an easy come and go. You can also go directly to the airport from the station that is just steps away. When we first arrived we were immediately welcomed by Adrian who became our "go to" friend. He was very helpful and patient with our many questions and never seemed rushed. At the times when he was not there Pater and the other efficient staff members were there to help us in any way possible. I want to give a special "thank you" to the room cleaning lady who found my husband's wedding ring in our room and left it for us with a sweet note and smiley face. We were in room 518 June 3-June 6 and I hope the management will give her a commendation for her honesty and help! The breakfast here is one of the best we had on our trip and each person working there was efficient and courteous. There is a major construction project at this hotel but it did not disrupt our enjoyable stay in any way. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for service and efficiency.
Excellent customer service staffs, Christina and Velimir are extremely helpful, very friendly and professional. Bar and breakfast staffs are very nice. Room is very nice, clean and well taking care off. There are 2 grocery stores and electronic stores are in a building next to the hotel. Train station is less than 5 minutes walk, and 4 stops to Munich's Old Town with the famous Viktualienmarkt market with fresh fruit, veggies, all kinds of restaurants for you to choose. Nice Churches, gift shops ...
this hotel is not in old town but s-bahn is just 3 minutes away and just 4stops going to Marieplatz. breakfast is good for a 4 star hotel.there is a big grocery beside it and 3 donner kebab 5 minutes away from it. i stayed for a week so i can say it's a good experience.
we just spent a great weekend with the family in munich to visit friends and museums in the capital of bavaria.angelo is well located with easy access and a great connection with the s and u bahn to the rest of the city, breakfast was just excellent
We stayed in the hotel for two nights and enjoyed the welcoming and lightful atmosphere f the hotel as well as very kind and warm staff everywhere, at the reception, at the bar, in the restaurant and at the corridors the housekeeping staff. Thank you all
Well I had a great stay at this Hotel. The outside is bland, inside its bright, modern and stylish. Check-in was quick and painless. The staff were so helpful and efficient. Nothing was any problem. The room was bright, perhaps too bright as the curtains allowed in perhaps a little too much light, but the soundproofing was splendid and despite being close to a road I could hear no traffic noise. I note the Hotel Description says blackout blinds are available but there were not in my room. The bed was comfortable, the heating worked, and the water in the shower was hot. The WiFi had reasonable performance, was easy to connect too, and truly free. There were no restrictions on the number of devices you can connect. The location is perhaps a little "out of town" but its only a couple of stops on the train. The trains are frequent, and the Hotel has tickets on sale at the desk. Just remember to validate them when you get to the station. The food in the Restaurant is perhaps a tad disappointing, with a rather limited menu, but its reasonably priced and tasty, and the service was unrivalled. All in All it was excellent value for money. I am sure I would stay there again.
This angelo, just as its sibling in West Park, has bland exterior, but cool and hip interior. Room was very good. Very good service. Location is so-so. Very small bar area and a restaurant with very limited choices and badly done food. I ordered their "classic dish" and it just badly done. No fitness center or spa, but for 10 euros you can use Fitness First gym - very large and crowded, but a good gym with a so-so spa.
We stayed here for 6 nights from April 21 2017. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff are consistently friendly, professional and helpful and cannot do enough for you. Breakfasts are amazing. Anja, the Maitre 'd for both dinner and breakfast was incredibly good at her job and made our stay even better. Valentina who looked after us at breakfast was attentive and professional. The staff training is clearly second to none. We would return again if in Munich.
I stayed here twice in Jun 2016 and Mar 2017. Location is excellent. Centrally located with S-Bahn or Suberban railway station, bus stop; all are in walking distance and day tickets for individual and group are available in the hotel front desk. Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. City centre only 15 mins and airport only 25 mins. Staff very hospitable. Rooms are large enough for a couple. Very trendy looks. Clean atmosphere in room and neat toilet. Big cafeteria and good choice of food in breakfast. Unfortunately no lunch available, and outside view just average. Can find people from different countries, cosmo culture inside. I'll come here again.
