Great stay. Very clean facility. Nice area near Ball State Univ. Close to everything. Will be back the next time I visit Hoosier Park.

I stay in some pretty basic hotels across Indiana and Illinois, usually in non metro areas. This place was a step above in decor, cleanliness, amenities, and staff. Pleasantly surprised.

Hotel is easy to find and very close to the Ball State campus. Rooms have obviously been renovated recently and the room looked very nice and was clean and well stocked with towels (which is ALWAYS a problem!!). Check in was quick and easy and the guy who checked us in was very nice/personable, patiently offering directions to a specific parking garage to the gentleman in line in front of me, repeating himself without any sign of frustration. Very nice guy! Only issue with the room was the door handle, which was broken, and the deadbolt which was very hard to operate. We were supposed to have a full hot breakfast, according to the website, but when we went down to eat at 6:30AM, it was a mess. The attendant was filling the pancake batter and not paying any attention to people in the area. There were no eggs and only 3-4 sausages in the warmer. The counter where others had prepared their food wasn't wiped down and there were several people sitting there ahead of us trying to get food that didn't exist. In fact, the attendant proudly walked away from the breakfast area after filling the pancake batter and didn't even look in the warmers to see if there was anything in them. Another guest had to ask for him to get food. We opted to come back later and the guy from the night before was there when we came back. This time, warmers were filled and the general area was not as busy, but now we had no time to eat....which was fine, because it wasn't all that good anyway!

Hotel was okay. There was construction and cleaning each day and they would leave dirty towels, sheets and trash in the hall, which was gross!

We stay at this hotel every time we come to town because the staff is nice and the rooms are clean!

Pool and rooms very clean and the beds were comfortable

Check in took forever. Bed was hard. I asked for a pad - second night clerk got me a couple of blankets that helped. Towels thin. Toilet stopped up before we gave it reason to. Not what we expected from Best Western.

Hotel was room was dirty, the sink had black stuff it in. Mold on botrom of showers currain. Mirror had dead bug or something smeared all over it. Dresser and night stand had sticky stuff all over it. The pool closed before it was time to close. Wouldn't stay again.

Room was good. Services were questionable. Only one person on duty at all times. No cleaning staff during day. Individual was friendly but overall not enough people available.

it was late I ringed bell several time then the manager showed up I was exhausted fell sleep immediately. next morning the sunflower seed skin were all over. before check up I couldn't find him again. I left room card. That it!

Our room was clean and comfortable. It seemed a bit nicer than when we stayed in August. The hotel just needs a little updating. Things seem not real well kept - the halls and the lobby seem grimy and an outer door did not fully latch . Easy access to BSU - we were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter and watch her dance on campus. We also did some shopping and eating at local restaurants. Continental breakfast was average and had a small eating area. We would stay here again if other motels were full.

This hotel worked well for a nice place to stay on a business trip. I got the last room they had in Muncie and it was one of their suites with the jacuzzi tub. The air conditioning worked pretty well considering the size of the room and the jacuzzi tub was relaxing. The complimentary breakfast was exactly what you expect in a complimentary breakfast. But I would go there again.

Was greeted the instant I walked in the door to check in. My reservation was a little complicated as our dates had changed and we came a day early. I had made a separate reservation for the extra night. The staff members were apologetic to me even though I was the one that had created the confusion. The swimming pool and hot tub was extremely enjoyable after our 12 hour drive. The pool seemed to have some filtering issue as there were small white flakes of some kind in the pool. But I swam and enjoyed it anyway. The breakfast bar was well supplied. There seemed to be something there for everyone's appetite. We ate two days in a row and was completely satsified. Overall for the price we paid for the room, I couldn't have ask for anymore. I am giving a 5 star in hope other people will reserve your facility. Also the location was perfect for the Indiana Academy Graduation we came to attend. It was only about 5 minutes from the ceremony site. Great Job to your staff Best Western.

Worst Best Western I've experienced. Broken exterior door locks. Broken interior door locks. Bugs in one of the beds. I would have been more comfortable in a tent.

Room was OK and warm enough on a cold night. Couldn't use outside entrance. Breakfast was NOT good.

My 2 children and I were just in town for a swim meet. For a one night stay maybe two I would definitely come back to Best Western. Our room was very clean and inviting. Breakfast was yummie! And my children loved the pool area! Thank you BW!

the pool was ice cold was the reason I went there was to swim

The location was great. The pool was very good. The breakfast was cold. The bed was not very comfortable, and seemed to be pretty old.

Location was different even though it was on Bethel...not on the same Bethel strip as the other hotels I have stayed at in Muncie. The staff was very friendly and it was cleaner than I expected.

We stayed at the Muncie, IN Best Western for two nights while we were helping my son get situated at a nearby college. First of all, I am NOT a picky person, or a "neat freak" by any stretch, so it is unusual for me to complain. I've stayed in many hotels and this is the only one for which I have had a negative review. From the moment we walked into the hotel, I could tell that this place was dirty and not maintained well. It was apparent that the hotel is struggling to survive and cutting corners at every turn. Here is what we experienced: Positives: -Friendly staff -Allowed us to check in early -Easy check out Negatives: -The lobby, front desk and hall areas smelled terribly dirty - it seemed like they tried to cover over the smell with air freshener instead of actually cleaning, which made it worse. -The hall and room carpets smelled musty and looked very dirty; they apparently hadn't been cleaned for a VERY long time. -All of the doors to the outside on the ground level (except for the front door) were wide open when we arrived in the afternoon...as if they were trying to air the place out -The bedspreads and blankets were very old and seemed very dirty - I slept with only the sheet over me for fear of what might get on me (i.e. bed bugs or fleas) if I pulled the blankets up. -The refrigerator in the room was apparently leaking, because the carpet all around it was soaked -The TV reception/picture was terrible - wavy, diagonal lines across the screen. -The towel rack came apart and fell out of the wall when I removed a towel -The cover on thermostat came off when I opened it -There were cracks and holes in the wall of our room that were poorly patched -The walls were "thin" - we could hear just about every move in the room next door -The sink vanity top was painted (apparently to cover over some damage)- it looked terrible. -The continental breakfast had a limited selection, the cereal was stale. I didn't have much of an appetite anyway because I wondered if they handled their food the way they did the rest of the hotel. we ate breakfast out on the second day. If you want a cheap place to stay and don't mind a run down hotel that seems to be cutting corners on just about everything (including cleaning), then this is your place. However, I would suggest spending the extra money and staying at a nice, clean hotel.
