The place is falling apart. Plumbing broke and paint falling off the wall

The Baymont by Wyndham is an affordable place to get a good night's sleep. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the TV in the room was larger and newer than I usually find in comparable hotels. The facility itself shows some signs of aging. The carpet and fixtures are dated. The pool was closed due to a broken heater, at the time of my visit and the handwritten note explaining that was showing signs of aging as well, telling me that this wasn't a new situation. All in all, I slept well in a quiet, comfortable room, got a hot shower and a free breakfast - definitely worth the ~$60 dollars I spent for my visit. This is a perfectly acceptable option for a business overnight, but don't plan on bringing your significant other for a romantic getaway.

T.v. didn't work had to have someone come fix it other than that it was ok

After we checked in weary from the road we discovered the tv didn’t work right and the tub wouldn’t drain. So we complained and they came down to fix both couldn’t and gave us a different room but they weren’t happy and were angry with us visibly. And we were confused we paid the gouging rate like everyone who was in town for the graduation and your mad at us for complaining that 2 of the 3 main things people come to a hotel wasn’t working the third being the bed. So in the next room you have to set the tv yourself every time you cut it on unbeknownst to me and the tub spout you had to pull down to get the shower on also something we weren’t told or shown. So when I call down to explain the two things weren’t working again he gets mad at me and is angrily explaining them to me. Anyway my daughter graduated so I have no reason to return.

Customer service was robotic and he was very hard to understand. Leaking hospitality. The bathroom was bad, the shower head had so much hard water and rust build up I don’t think you could get any water pressure from it. There was a ring of mold where the shower wall and tub pieces meet, mold stains on other parts, the bottom of the tub looked dirty but may be clean just stained. I refused to take a shower in this room, which sucked since after a long drive a hot shower is what I was looking forward too. All the plumbing fixtures where rusted and looked like pieces are coming off. The room door to the hallway let in a lot of light, and did not shut very well. The bed might have been the only thing that wasn’t wrong with the place. Had I not had to have been up early I would have asked for a new room, I will not recommend or say at another baymont. Sad because I’ll be staying in the area a lot over the next year and I liked it’s location to where I needed to be.

Smell like paint. The sink was peeling paint like someone had painted it which a brush.

Comfortable, quiet place. Nreakfast is a bit late, but good.

I like ved the hotel it had everything we were looking for and many nice shopping stores and restaurants close by

I arrived late . My 1st room had a very loud refrigerator noise and my second room that I switched to at 4:30am . Unfortunately had mouse poop on the bathroom countertop of wich I discovered the next morning. The manager reluctantly gave me a discount.

Nice staff. I was a little bit pleased overall. :-)

The beds were rock hard. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation including a sprinkler system, which I thought was a fire code but maybe not. The pool was nice, the fitness room smelled of mold terribly and didn't have any good equipment, not even a treadmill. My entire family, after only one night, woke up with really bad stuffy noses. Could've been because the air conditioning unit had a very unique odor emitting from it. I must say the staff was very friendly and we're always busy working hard but the owners and management need to be ashamed for charging $123 a night for a hotel which should be a $45 a night deal. I won't choose this or any other Baymont Inn again. Bad experience. No bedbugs though, I almost expected them given the quality of the place.

A b it disappointing. The rooms are rather cell-like, with no artwork or anything to relieve the plain gray walls. Breakfast was ok, but only if you are a carb-addict. No protein other than the small bits of sausage in the biscuits and gravy. We specifically chose this hotel as there was a pool, and found out at check-in that the pool had been closed for three months, which earned the "disappointing" rating for facilities. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

My stay was fine. The front desk clerks were very accommodating. I had 3 issues: the heating system in the room was very loud when it was on and this woke me several times, I had less than 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper in the bath, and my morning bagel was stale. But still and all I will come back these are small issues.

It is difficult for me to get luggage and other belongings up the stairs since there is no elevator at the Baymont. The lock on my door was not working properly and I twice had to request assistance from the main desk to get back in my room. I was informed the door lock was old and needing to be replaced. I found these two things to be an inconvieince to me. The staff however at the Baymont was kind and helpful.

I didn't feel like the value was there for the price. Didn't live up to the pictures shown on line. Beds low quality, rooms need updated.

We've been staying at this hotel almost annually for the past 10 - 20 years. Our experiences have been quite good over the years (we keep coming back), but the facility is getting a bit dated. Could use some updating/refreshing. Maybe its recently becoming a Baymont Inn (was Signature Inn) will bring this.

The Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was served hot every morning, there were many choices. The pool was warm. The room looked a bit older, but it had a microwave and mini fridge to compensate. Overall, great people and great time in Muncie.

Thank you for your feedback. At this time we are upgrading all our TVs with 49" flat screen and there might have remote censor problem but I am glad we took care of it.
