The only issue we had was the check in. I reserved this room in August off of the Expedia website. I had to pay half of the cost then. I did. I received an email from them saying that they received payment. When I went to check in they said that they did not receive the payment, even though I showed them the receipt from Expedia. Really frustrating because I was hoping to only pay half and had to pay for all of it. Which I didn't budget for.

The bed was ok, the room was clean, and the check-in was smooth. The resort was empty. This would have been an excellent time to offer an upgrade, but nothing was offered. The location was fantastic, and the views were awesome. The restaurant was wonderful. The prices and flavors were top-notch. We received excellent service from the bartender.

Terrific!! Very safe for a woman alone…lodge had a restaurant and the laundry came in handy! Got a massage at the spa…wonderful! There were trails right nearby…even a beautiful path along the lake right outside the chalet and the views of Mount Shasta are breathtaking!!
