Great location but uncomfortable

As all of the other reviews state, the location is amazing. My husband and I are in our mid 60s and opted to rent a golf cart from Doby’s Kustom Karts which was the best thing ever. We were not cooking, but the kitchen looked like it had everything it needed. Mount Dora is a great place but we are not huge drinkers so throughout the day we wanted to come home and relax. Unfortunately, the couch is not comfortable. The bed in the master is extremely soft, if you need support go sleep down the hallway in the full-size bed.

Great home in a great location

Very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Location couldn't have been better - close to shopping and restaurants!! Hosts were easy to communicate with.

Great location in Mt Dora

Great location and very clean unit. We were in town for the annual regatta and could leave the car parked and just walked to the yacht club, restaurants, and ice cream place. Publix is only a mile up the road, so was able to get some groceries for a hearty breakfast for our sailors too. Would highly recommend this unit.

Super Cute, Perfect Location, Responsive Manager

This rental is in a perfect location, easily walkable to all things Downtown Mt. Dora. It has updated decor and is meticulously maintained. We reached out to the rental manager to clarify some questions the day before and she was immeditately responsive. We stayed here bc it was closer to our family wedding taking place in Sorrento (than our own place). Highly recommend.

Drove by property twice because appearance not as described. This is a front to back duplex with no outside gathering space other than a sad group of chairs in a front carport. To park properly they needed to be moved to the sidewalk leading to front door. Landscaping minimal and in need of regular maintenance giving a very neglected first impression. Once inside, the cleanliness and order was inviting. The main space was interesting, much too dark but still attractive. Follows a list of missing, broken or in need of replacement items. Main fan in living room inoperative No occasional chairs to augment sofa and love seat and very difficult to get comfortable Kitchen furnishings neglected, impractical or nonexistent Impossible to prepare a meal with pots and pans available Freezer did not produce ice Sink area unattractive Not conducive to gatherings . Who needs a wok when there are no sharp knives. First apartment level and as the days wore on less and less appetizing . No laundry basket in laundry Hallway to guest rooms dark with stained carpet… way overdue for replacement Bedrooms under furnished and uninviting. Master bedroom mattress needs replacing and linens upgraded. More hangers of better quality While the location was great it doesn’t offset the general lack of attention to detail this property exudes. We left feeling disappointed and definitely would not stay again. Hefty charge for such careless hosting.

Great Place to Stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Mt. Dora. Very clean and well equipped with anything you might need in the kitchen. The laundry facility was great, and the location is wonderful. Just a couple of blocks from Mt. Dora's Main Street, we were able to shop and sightsee.

A Do Over VRBO

Parked car and traveled Mt Dora by foot for 3 days. Location of house was ideal for visiting downtown and boat ride of Lake Dora. 3 BR 2 bath was perfectly supplied for breakfast and cooking quick meals. Charming interior. I plan on revisiting and rebooking the same place.
