Close to restaurants , but tiny room

It's nice for what it is. Great history, breathtaking photo opportunities and just steps away from downtown dining. Cons : Very small room, no microwave or coffee maker (yes there is a restaurant on sight, but not having a mini fridge for my medication was a huge negative) The ice maker not working and having to walk to the office for ice (which is across the street in another building ) is extremely inconvenient. Pros: plenty of parking, location have food you can walk to, lots of history, not bad for the price

I liked the property, very nice by the lake and pool. I know its an older establishment, but i wish they had a mini fridge. Ice machine was broken. And for the price of staying, there was no complementary breakfast and coffee could've had been better tasting.

Lynn the hostess was amazing! She was constantly making sure everyone was taken care of. Very professional! Our server was great in the Tavern. I’m sorry I forgot her name. Wink made our night on the piano. Housekeeping did a great job each day on our room. The pool was beautiful! Landscaping fabulous! Highly recommend!

Old School Florida Perfection

I loved every moment of my visit to the Lakeside Inn. I was immediately and warmly greeted at the check-in counter, which was so nice. Later, the server at Tremains Tavern was very hospitable and made great recommendations (the tomato pie was amazing!). Housekeeping staff was efficient & always greeted me as I came & went from my cottage. My room was very clean, nicely furnished, and comfortable. I am already looking forward to my next trip!

This is an old fashioned historical hotel. If you are thinking you are going to the Ritz Carlton, this hotel isn't for you. The pool and view is lovely. It's quiet and in the heart of downtown.

Beautiful historic property with lots of charm. Great choice for history buffs like ourselves. There were quirky parts of the room we stayed in, but to be expected in a historic building. Lovely porch to relax and have a cocktail.

Nice location. Friendly people. Small rooms, no elevator. Three spiders in the bathroom with webs! Yellow water from the bathroom sink. Nice bed, horrible pillows. If it wasn't for the view and the location, it would not have been a good trip. I don't think we will stay there again.

Everything was fabulous except no frig microwave, and not enough outlets in room. The property is well keep and staff wonderful but rooms just need updating. Definitely will go back but hoping this is helpful tips. LOVE MT DORA!
