Good Place, great location, great price.

Everything was good, except the poor water pressure. Also it took a long time to get hot water. Location was great, maybe update to porch furniture.

Three of us stayed in the Magnolia suite for 2 nights. It has two separate rooms for the bed and a nice little kitchenette area and private porch. The shower is on the smaller side and the water temperature is a little temperamental, but once you figure out how to maneuver it, the shower was pleasant. We enjoyed the location and walked to downtown Mount Dora to shop and eat. I paid for early arrival which worked out nicely. We never saw any staff on site, but we didn’t need anything and the anonymity was nice. All three of us would stay here again.

Cozy home

Very comfortable, clean and cozy. Lovely house on a big piece of property with convenience parking. The room was stocked with everything we needed, including a coffee maker with all the fixings. A quiet neighborhood with just a 15 minute walk to downtown.

The house itself exudes character and charm, and the overall ambiance is serene, making it an excellent spot for those seeking peace and relaxation. My room was quite spacious, but unfortunately, it felt outdated, and the bathroom was not as comfortable to use as I had hoped. The fixtures could benefit from some modernization to enhance the overall experience. The shared spaces, on the other hand, were beautifully designed—cozy, inviting, and perfect for unwinding. Although I didn’t get a chance to use them during my stay, they certainly added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to updating the rooms and bathrooms, this hotel could be a true gem. It’s a good choice if you value charm and tranquility over modern amenities.

It’s old buildings so not of charm but very musty, house keeper no good (Soap residue leftover in bathroom, lots of dust, unfolded towels). Broken blinds. Very clean and cozy bed.

We really liked the house and atmosphere. "Staff and Service" rating is because there was absolutely no contact with anyone. Very impersonal!! What bothered us the most was the lack of security. I assumed the door codes were changed regularly. Apparently not, as the information binder in the room had both codes. Anyone who stayed here in the paste would have both codes with access to our room at any time. There was not even a deadbolt on the inside to secure during the night.

Weekend Stay

We spent a couple's weekend in Mount Dora using The Estates at Mount Dora for our lodging. The room was clean and comfortable with upgraded linens and towels. Extra large shower with rain-shower head and wand. Mount Dora has a free transportation service and this property is inside it's arra of service. This makes transportation to the heart of shops and restaurants a breeze.

We enjoyed being able to walk to everything, it was .6 miles to town. The room was clean and the owner checked in frequently on us. They had a couple good restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Jeremiah.
