i stayed in this hotel in summer 2016. we were reserved two connect room for me and my husband and my sons. when we arrived, they gave us a room in 5th floor and another one was located at 11th. i was very upset about my young children and at least me and my husband decided to take apart and each of us stay in one room with our children. at first day, when i was alone with my little son and he was asleep, i go to bathroom and because of the slippy floor, in fell on the floor and nobody was there to help me. my arm hurt. in this trip, my parent also were with us. their room was very little and they were very unhappy with their room.
We spent four nights in July at the Swissotel visiting Moscow on vacation. Room was compact and very comfortable. We had a super view of the river. I tried the pillow menu which was a first for me. Overall a great hotel and location all round. The only thing lacking in facilities is a nice outdoor area to have a drink in the fresh air. They have tables outside the front entrance where they do their best but you are watching the cars pull up so it's not exactly cosy. That said, the rooftop bar is superb once you get past the grumpy and a bit 'stuffy' hostess who interrogated us every time we went up if we had a reservation 😂. I guess she was only doing her job. I had an issue with her as I don't like giving out my room number in front of strangers who were standing around waiting to enter so I told her I would write it down which she thought was rude on my part but honestly hotels need to think about these things from a security point of view!!! That aside we visited the bar every evening for sundowners and the cocktails are superb - expensive - but a great treat every time. Spectacular views. Breakfast is good, coffee was too hot - don't know why coffee needs to be that hot. Gym and pool super and very friendly hostess at the door. Every day we had to ask for coffee refills in the room as for some reason the housekeeping cleared the cups but never replenished and gave clean coffee cups - I could not understand why they don't clean cups and replenish at the same time as cleaning the room then it's done? Concierge was very helpful finding some restaurants and on our last day we took the hotel bikes free of charge and cycled around the Moscow river which was superb. Tip - a great Italian around the corner near the music hall - we had a very pleasant meal there and excellent bottle of South African wine.
the best hotel in Moskou. Good value for money.Very good food.High quality service. Location is very central in between business area.Check in check out is done very quick and clear. Extreme experience having a drink in the sky Bar . Extreme nice view over Moskou
All good. Was not really impressed by the room service. It would have been much better taking the time to go to the Hotel top floor bar or one of the restaurants. When going to Bar at the top, make sure to ask for a table on the left side of the bar if you want a perfect experience.
Great location close to SAP and walking distance to nearby restaurants. Top class rooms and very good English speaking service. There is a fantastic bar on the 33rd floor with a good wine and cocktail menu, with a mesmerising view of Moscow. Well worth the visit.
Just spent 3 days recently and I have been very pleased. Warm welcome at the reception and the luggage help. Maybe not just beside tourists attractions but nice walk (for me run) along the Moscow river up to the Red square! Room big enough, confortable and well maintained Really enjoyed my short stay
I booked and paid executive room with.access to lounge and hotel only said that lounge was closed after check-in Only after check did they said that the lounge was closed, and also the spa and gym. To compensate the lounge , they gave me lunch and dinner , a mediocre food, with the worst dishes in the restaurant. I canceled the second day and had no way to cancel everything further than having to find another hotel in Moscow. The worst thing was the total lack of professionalism in not being warned that hotel was working precariously in advance and only informing after the check in done and deadline of cancellation exhausted. When I left hotel I asked not pay the stay of one day, since I lost every all afternoon looking for another hotel for the second day in Moscow..They should cancel everything and still provide transportation to another hotel. Total lack of professionalism for a hotel of a network as reputable as the Swiss where until then, I´ve had only had great experiences and praised in the reviews on tripadvisor and booking.com In short, They had to warn all clients that thet didn´t have ececutive rrom with lounge acess Location is bad far from everything
Swissotel Krasnye Holmy Moscow is a really luxurious hotel, well equipped and well maintained. Room are spacious which each including a well provisioned coffee corner, safe, really comfortable closet and good size beds. The room also has a small but efficient work station that includes a work desk, phone, LAN connection and multiple power outlets. The hotel offers free WiFi and a premium bar. Rooms and hotel corridors and public areas are very clean. The loby is very impressive and the staff are always available for any possible question or request. In addition to the receptionists, the front desk also provide concierges services. I can assume the staff knows English, since we communicated in Russian, but in any case they were very helpful. They even prepared breakfast take-away boxes for us when we needed to check out early with really marvelous content such as yogurt, fresh fruit, sandwitches and beverages, a real treat. We had breakfast in this hotel which was very satisfying with a large variety of breads, meats, fruit, cereal and even a la carte cuisine. Coffee is served to the tables upon request. The hotel is well situated at a 10 minute walking distance from various restaurants, coffee shops, a 24 hour pharmacy (where you can also buy some basic provision - you may need to know a bit of Russian) and some 20 minute walking to the nearby Metro. From some of the hotel rooms there is a great view of the Moscow river. A great hotel (but mind the price).
Right in the middle of the Moscow city with large rooms and excellent view from each end We enjoyed the Bfast on all three days with live omelette counters, Fresh orange and carrot juices and the range of bakery products Indian Veg food though has very limited options Though we couldn't spend time on the roof top sky bar but it's worth a visit to have a drink and Drool over the city
We stayed in the Swissotel for a wedding anniversary and it was the best choice ever. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was amazing with the breathtaking view on the river and the city - we even kept the curtains open to see the sunset and the sunrise. SPA area is fantastic, we relaxed in Jacuzzi, swimming pool and sauna. One of the greatest advantages of the hotel is the rooftop bar City space where very cool cocktails are served. We enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning with a variety of fresh juices and bakery. Hopefully we will come back again!
