The only good thing about this hotel is the shuttle. When we arrived from airport around 1 am, the two guys that we're working at the reception had the radio turn on so loud that we couldnt even understand each other. It was probably one of the coldest reception that I've never experienced. The room was a little bit creepy, the fridge door was broken and we we're feeling the metal springs while sleeping. It really need some renovation. I really don't recommand this place to a friend. Plus, it's quite expensive. Don't get there.
We were here for one night. It’s a solid hotel with good beds. If the people in the room next door are noisy you can hear them. The shuttle to the airport (5 minutes away) leaves every 30 minutes and works well (we used it several times). As far as we could see, it was one of the very few hotels near the airport.
Here for just one night. I had trouble using the Wi-Fi to sort out my next flight but staff were very obliging and sorted it out for me. Saw their menu and decided I would skip lunch as the dinner menu looked really great. Sadly that was not to be. When I went down to dinner I was told the dining room was closed for a private party and to go downstairs to a "café" which was serving buffet. I think the "café "was probably the staff canteen. 2 diners already eating told me not to bother. Reception organised for me to take the shuttle to the airport where I figured there would be a good choice of restaurants. How wrong can one be! 1 Indian, 1 Chinese and 1 fast food - a far cry from that enticing menu at the hotel! Breakfast was also in the "café "and was a bit of a disaster. On the whole pretty disappointing. I would suggest that travellers check with the hotel before booking, that there is no private function on in the dining room the night they are staying.
We stayed for one night, the room was decent and relatively clean as well. Price was okay, with how close it is to the airport. The restaurant was poor, for food quality and service. Overall, it's okay if you're desperate for a hotel.
Excellent customer service; Up to American hotel standards: my room was spacious, nice and clean. Will return again in a heartbeat. Customer service reps are fluent in both English and Russian. I got a wake up call when I needed to take a free shuttle to the Domodedovo airport early flight to London.
On the upside I would mention willingness of reception staff to accommodate guests requests, free hotel shuttle, good size rooms. I was upgraded to higher room category without even asking for it. On the other hand, the rooms are somewhat tired, the breakfast selection could be better, no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms and the lifts are amond the slowest I have ever seen. I believe the hotel could use a bit of face lifting to bring it into sync with top of the line airport hotels.
It was just one night stand but it has fulfilled perfectly all my needs for one night stand, there is a mini bus to transport you directly to and from the airport in 10 minutes, good breakfast and restaurant.
Food and beverage staff, not one in restaurante in bar - speak English! this is ridiculous. neither they are eager for service, the only english word they know is: "don´t understand" not only this as they are all times behind on the back office and you have to wait wait wait, until you are desperate and go and look after them - for service. should I knew this before I would never reserve here. the only good feature about this hotel is quality of the bed, 10 min. away from airport and quick transfer services provided. and the kind lady on the laundry, if this is what you only require, then ok. because all rest, service, making bar or restaurant order - forget. they better off placing self service machines that would doma better job than their staff.
My boyfriend and I booked one night at the Ramada Moscow Domodedovo hotel. We arranged for a bus pick up from the airport over the phone one week prior - the receptionist spoke English and was very helpful. When we arrived to meet the bus, it was not there. We waited in the cold, calling Ramada several times and were told '2 more minutes' each time. The hotel room itself had only been prepared for one guest - one bathrobe, one bottle of water, one pair of slippers, etc. - though there were two of us staying in the room. The deadbolt on the door was broken. The wifi barely worked. The shower head wall attachment was broken and made showering very uncomfortable, as we had to crouch down to get under the running water. For my boyfriend, who is 6'4, this was very inconvenient and frustrating. There were two comforters on the bed. One of the comforters was too short for my boyfriend to be fully covered, fortunately the other one was bigger, so I used the smaller one. The bed itself was quite comfortable; the room was quiet and dark with the curtains closed. The toilet paper felt like cardboard. We feel that the cost - 99$USD - is exorbitant, especially considering the quality of the room and services. We will never again stay at a Ramada hotel.
I stayed here for one night arriving late one evening. Firstly as I tried to called the hotel, the receptionist struggled with English and his answer was to just put the phone down! Upon arrival I was checked in and went to my room. The room was basic but ok. However as soon as I went to sleep the noise in the room was awful. There was no sound proofing and I could hear the guests next door shouting. I called down to ask for a change of room but again reception could not understand English. After 3 hours of no sleep I walked down and explained I wanted another room and eventually I was understood. The next room was quieter and better but the service was very poor as no apology loft was offered even when I checked out. The only good element of this stay was the shuttle and location as it is only 5 minute drive from the airport.
