Our family loves Accor hotels so much, because of Novotel. In Moscow Novotel is the best, that I have seen! I like interior, location in this amazing place "Moscow City". Rooms are very clean and comfy! Many thanks to maids, that cleaned up our room, front office team on check-in and all waiters on breakfast!
IF for no other reason, stay here so you can have the breakfast buffet. AMAZING!! The room was ok, kind of smelled, door looked like someone had try to break in. Colors were pleasant and layout was good. I tried to use the gym, took a while to find it since the signs don't every say gym, you should just know it's in the wellness center. That said, the gym was really nice- clean and lots of equipment to use. Location is great for needing to be in the city center. It was easy to get around and very close to metro. lots to walk and see.
Novotel Moscow City Hotel is located right in the middle of the Central Business District in Moscow. The hotel is surrounded on all sides by the chrome and glass high rises. The Moscow Metro station is right across the road. The room that I had was well appointed and was functionally quite good. The hotel staff speaks fluent English, which was a great blessing. We also found them to be well trained and very helpful. The hotel is co-located with a huge shopping mall with a great food court. The only downside is that the hotel is at least an hour from the international airport. I will happily recommend this hotel.
Went there for a business visit. The superior rooms are very small and there is hardly any space between the twin beds making it difficult to sleep. The front desk takes forever to check in and even though you are in a queue they entertain other guests before you. When asked for water at 10pm at night they took more than 1 hour to deliver a bottle of water inspite of making few calls. When the matter was bought to the duty manager Anna she made sure it was delivered in few minutes. Very disappointed with my stay.
Location near to exhibition hall, shopping Staff is friendly Hotel atmosphere is excellent Fast Check in and out Only the Breakfast is boring, 7 days continuously eating the same nothing new Room is clean and tidy
Good and wide rooms, varied breakfast, fair price vs. quality rate but there are things that need to be improved: young personell with lack of supervision, dirty dishes are left by the doors and cleaned by room service only in the morning, no big attention to details and hosts requirements (we requested a baby crib and did not get it till midnight, we also had an early check-out and requested an early breakfast to restraunt personell.... as a result it was not communicated to the reception and we had to wait for the breakfast to be prepared so almost missed our train). Great location (Metro station right in the shopping mall downstairs), but not a hotel for families with children (no microwave oven in the room neither in the dining area, baby seat was offered to us at the end of the location period, no bathroom neither baby baths offered - only shower).
This hotel is amazing, it is located in the modern part of Moscow (we loved that) and really close to the highest observatory, a must! Plus the metro is 2 minutes walk! The hotel itself is amazing, our room was spacious, beautiful and really comfortable and modern plus the views were really nice too! The bathroom was great too, super equipped and with high quality toiletries. Breakfast is just amazing! They have it all! A huge selection of pastries, great coffee, huge selection of teas, cheese, all kinds of hot dishes, fresh fruits, detox and regular juices... it is really good! There is a spa, bar and a big reception with seating area. The decoration is beautiful and the ambience great. The staff are very professional and helpful and they speak great English. It really is a great hotel!
The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. It has the Afimall department store in the same building. The Metro which is very well connected is also in the same building. The reception staff were very helpful and generally people are friendly and courteous.
Great hotel in the 'business' side of Moscow. Initial impressions was a bit bad, Check-in was a bit meh, they kept asking about some sort of hotel registration that our last hotel were supposed to give. No idea but they had to call the the hotel to verify some sort of thing. Didnt help that the check-in attendant felt like he's doing you a favour to simply process the check-in. With that out the way, the rest of the stay was fantastic. Room was spacious, immaculate cleanliness and a good view toward the river and skyscrapers. Location is convenient with the metro just across the road, the Afimall is a great neighbour, a few steps away and you're inside a fairly big shopping mall. (The Uniqlo is great and tax-free!) Several Halal eateries also available. Across the road (where the metro is) there are several smaller coffee shops and a laundromat opening soon so this hopefully will help future travelers! Wifi was decent, about a 10meg line with no device limitations. Breakfast was a decent spread. Needed a bit of space as it gets a bit chaotic during busy periods. However the variety was good. While it is a bit far (20 to 30min by metro) to major sites, its still in a good, safe area. The shops generally close at 10pm so you have ample time to get things done.
Very nice and modern place between the towers , near to river, near to metro station, near to bus station, good and helpful staff(also they surprised us because of my wife birthday), big room, and excellent breakfast but far from Moscow center (red square)
