the hotel had front elevators for the 5 star part and back elevators for rooms in a different building with 4 stars room. View was bad but we were able to see the sky. The entrance lobby not impressive. Very good location, one of the best.

Would stay again. Just across the Kremlin. Famous Nacional we could not dream to stay during USSR but now no problem.

I stayed in this hotel for a night, thanks God, it is only for one night! Before I booked it, I had heard that the hotel is one of the most famous hotel in Moscow and oldest one, and I thought it is a best one! Pillows and beds are not comfortable. The hotel is like a labyrinth, and there are not many navigator. Sunday morning at 8:30am somebody came to my room and opened the door with her master key, and say the check out time to me. I said what the .. are you doing in my room and waking me up at 8:30am in the morning.. This is disrespectfull and terrible situation! I will never stay in this hotel at the rest of my life when I visit to Moscow again.

The hotel is directly across from Red Square, with a great view from the restaurant on the 2nd floor (a bit expensive but worth it). The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have international stamps at the front desk and mailbox in the lobby. It's a small thing but very helpful for last minute post cards. They also left water bottles in the room every day, which is nice to have after a long day of sight seeing.

Great location (probably best in Moscow) Helpful service Good to great rooms Free fast WiFi Excellent restaurant May be pricey at times

Excellent hotel and locatıon! Short walk to Red Square, Bolshoi, GUM, and Metro. Eatıng ın the hotel can be expensıve . . . our billıng at checkout for three nıghts was almost what we paıd for the accommodation. Savıng on tıme wıth taxıs probably made up for iı. Highly Recmmended!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, and I got the room at a very good price. They seem to be acustom to business people and not use to tourists, such as myself though. Still, if you are visiting Moscow I highly recommend the Hotel National, Moscow.

Dissapointing because the internet did not work well and the shower temperature could not be controlled. The staff did not do anything to correct these problems despite many complaints

I participated at the International Real Estate Exhibition, which was located at the Gostiniy Dvor, near the Red Square. I walked 10 minute from the Hotel and avoid all Moscow traffic. Also shopping, dinning, nightlife, entertainment are in a walking distance.

Location cannot be beat. Splurge for a room with a view. Rooms elegant and well appointed. Rates much more reasonable on weekends. Front desk staff was very helpful. Concierge service was good but would not rate as great - perhaps adequate is a good word. Gym on roof is adequate but could use a makeover. Would definitely stay here again!
