Location overlooks the horse racing course. Quiet convenient location. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff speak good English and are very helpful. Restaurant is open 24 hers and serves good quality food, main courses on their own are a little small but you can always add something to them. Supermarket within easy walking distance. Free wifi with a good connection. No mini bar which was a shame...

The Bega is an older Soviet era hotel in very good condition. The main reception area is well staffed and all of the staff at the front desk spoke some English. It ranges from excellent to poor. Check in is at 3pm, but we arrived at 930 am from the airport and they managed to get us in a room quickly to get some much needed rest. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Moscow Metro, Begovaya station. We didn't walk much in the neighborhood surrounding the hotel. There is not much there to see as far as tourist attractions or interesting buildings. It is a typical Moscow commercial neighborhood. I felt the area was safe and didn't have any fear walking back-and-forth from the metro at all hours. Furnishings and decor at the Bega Hotel were dated, but in great shape. Our room was small, by western standards, but they made very good use of space. A desk and two chairs, a wardrobe cabinet and a room safe came in the room. The 2 twin beds were on the firmer side, but comfortable. The linens were fresh, crisp, and clean. The room itself was like the rest of the hotel, extremely clean and well maintained. I have a serious allergy issue and am highly susceptible to dust and mold. I had no problems in this hotel due to the cleanliness. The bathroom was a good size with a stand-up shower tub combination. The bathroom could use some more shelving or counter space for toiletries. I never could figure out how to operate the thermostat in the room, but it turned out to be a non-issue as the room temperature was perfect the entire time we were here. The outside temperature was between 40 and 50° during our stay. Our fifth floor room came with a balcony and a wonderful view of the harness racing track behind the hotel. Breakfast comes with the room and the breakfast food was plentiful and delicious. It is served in the hotel restaurant. Lots of traditional Russian food as well as some western favorites. It is buffet style with unlimited quantities. Service was good during breakfast as well. In addition, the restaurant is open 24 hours per day. If you are looking for a nice hotel from Soviet era with excellent service, very clean, and has a good restaurant, then this is your place.

Really enjoyed my stay there. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. I would recommend to ask for the room with the Hippodrome view - that's really worthwhile. WiFi was very stable and speedy. Nothing really to complain about.

I stayed in this hotel because of it's close proximity with the city center. The rooms are big and the staff is very nice. The hotel is located next to the hippodrome (horse race track). Stay here if you get a good deal.

Room has all needed comfort: Bed is very good (and big enough for tall Western European people), free WiFi, everything is very clean. The furniture style is a bit outdated though. The restaurant is OK, but not great. It is a bit to small for breakfast time. You need to search or wait for a table to sit at every morning. Almost all staff speak English. All in all a reasonable hotel for a good price.

Place is a 15 minute ride from the exhibition center which is convenient if that is your business in Moscow. It has a good gym, better than he normal Russian hotel breakfast and nice personnel! Rooms and hotel in general has a Soviet vibe around it but good enough to have a good nights sleep. Restaurant is open 24 hours.

I really love staying at this hotel. The room is nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good, they served a lot of food. And the location was perfect, just 10-15 minutes walking to the Dinamo metro station.

This hotel is pleasant, professional, friendly and offers a filling tasty buffet breakfast. The rooms have the good amenities, air con and balconies. The hotel is well served by 3 lifts ( escalators) so no queuing unlike the Radisson Blu also in the vicinity. I found it excellent vale for money and the room to a good standard. I recommend this as a decent hotel from which to visit Moscow.

Fantastic help with sorting the visas before we went Reception v helpful throughout sorting taxis and all the getting to and from the wedding Breakfast was always replenished and the god I'm the evenings v good The bar/restaurant staff were v accommodating moving tables so we and our extended family could sit together Thanks to them all

Location was very good for the price we paid. It was about 15 min by foot from Dinamo metro station which is maybe 3-4 stations to the Kremlin. Room was very specious and clean, as well as bathroom. There are many super markets around hotel and bank to exchange money. Staff was friendly and polite. Breakfast was the same every day but there was a lot of things to choose from. All in all, I recommend it ☺
