Was there for almost a week, during Russian Christmas. Very central. Not expensive. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Especially the Asian guy with glasses in the restaurant. He wanted to practice his English and he was every day at the breakfastservice. He did well. The room was clean and bigget then i aspected.
Hotel is close to Train and Metro, but not close to restaurants, not hotel fault but just saying, Hotel Reciptionist could be a little friendlier, Security would not let me use luggage cart when checking in
The hotel is located in the heart of city and is one of the seven architecture gems of Stalin style. We stayed there for 3 days and liked the ambience of the hotel. I would recommend it to others as it is 10 mins walk from Komsomolskaya station which is well connected to red square and other well known areas of the city.
I still have only one question to Hilton: how do you teach (training) your staff to get terrific result of service ??? I could compare with other brand names (on my level) & every time I admire what they do - Thank You Again for Your Supper Professional Service !!! P.S. I didn't write anything about this hotel because thousand people already left a lot of positive information but I could be glad to get back again to there !!!
This is a heritage property and it's a great experience to stay here. The metro station is close by and I would strongly recommend that you travel using it. A one day unlimited metro card is recommended. The hotel has a business lobby with complimentary drinks and snacks, unfortunately I don't drink but I would surely recommend it to my friends who do. It's simply the best place to stay in Moscow.
One of the so-called ‘seven sisters’ of stately buildings built toward the end of the Stalin era, post war. Very spacious rooms, great breakfasts & facilities. Executive lounge provides great options each evening if you’re feeling like staying in.
The hotel and staff were wonderful. Our only complaint was that it was further out of town than we would have liked. On the other hand the metro was very close to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again on our trip to moscow
So we used the hotel as a base for a new year holiday break. We had 2 very spacious adjoining rooms that were great on the 5th floor. The reason I have not given them 5stars is that the street noise (cars, emergency vehicles and trains) and is audible 24/7! The building it self is great and historic. The executive lounge is fantastic and the staff are very helpful. My children loved the swimming pool. The WiFi was also good. The hotel is very close to the metro station for easy access to central Moscow. Would I stay there again? Yes but it would be nicer not to have the outside noise. Check what room you have and how much the noise will affect you.
Our first visit to Moscow and the Hilton Leningradskaya was the perfect base.Welcoming, efficient and grand (but not too grand !). All minor requests (unlock mini bar, e-mail and printing, changing money, late check-out, taxi to airport etc.) were dealt with in a prompt and friendly way. The view from our room on the 11th floor over Komsomolskaya Square was breathtaking. And there is a cool factor staying in one of the iconic "Seven Sisters". I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to anyone. I think it might even have been the hotel that laid on the layer of fairy tale snow that gently trickled down on us as we exited the taxi from the airport for a picture postcard arrival.
I'm currently staying at the Hilton with my wife for New Year. We're both loving the hotel, our only complaint is last night in the lobby bar we tried to order 3 different cocktails from their menu, only to be told that they couldn't make them or didn't have the ingredients, which was a disappointing start to our holiday.
