We stayed here for two nights, it's a classic hotel with furniture. There is great rooms with best service and best view of city. It's near to arbat street. You don't have choices to breakfast. There is a hyper market near to hotel.
I request for early check in and i confirmed it when i call the hotel but it's useless I was waiting for long time after long flight can you imagine that how much is bad . Also the staff in the reception are soo careless. And they are speaking bad in russuian they think I don't understand. This is soo bad . Thank you soo much for golden ring hotel I will not visited again and I will not recommend it to anyone from any country .
Used top floor Restaurant for pre ordered group meal. The food fine but uninspiring.people with food restrictions disappointed Limited English by staff. Good wine and beer choice payed at bar Views from Restaurant very good and panoramic
The Golden Ring Hotel is a wonderful hotel that captures the by-gone era of luxious travel in the 1950s and 60s. The Empire decore envokes memories of movie stars treated as royalty from the elegant bar overlooking a fountain in the lobby to the plush rooms that contain the conveniences expected today. The health club facility is first rate with all of the latestest equipment with towels supplied and access to a spa including a Hammam and massage. The panorama restaurant at the top of the building on the 25th floor provides a 360 degree view of Moscow and at night when it is all lit up, it is breathtaking. It was so much fun to figure out the identity of the colorful buildings at night. The food represented typical dishes of the region presented with top service. Finally, the staff was always available and helpful with whatever need I had. Be sure to inquire about recommended restaurants. I was given two different recommendations and both were excellent experiences at a reasonable price.
Westayed in this hotel for four nights during my visit to Moscow,it is a good hotel with a great location ,close to Arbat street where you can find many restuarents.bars, souvenier shops...,the first night we were given a room which was close to the street and it was noisy, but after i talked to the duty manager ,the next day they changed my room ,which i am so greatful for that, the hotel has a very good breakfast as well as th wifi, thanks alot Golden Ring hotel😊😊
Rude and arrogant staff with no idea of what customer service is all about. Asked for extra complimentary bottle of water and was told by rude supervisor that they can't do it, it's a company policy and water is available once a day only when housekeeping attends. You need to buy one from the bar if you are thirsty. Have been staying in five star hotels all over the world including other 5 star hotels in Moscow and it's the first time I come across this attitude. Paying for water is perfectly fine however the supervisor was rude screaming out that all five star hotels around the world have the same policy! Really? Room service is constantly engaged, the guy taking room service orders is rude. When my husband finally got through the answer was "what"? "What do you want?" We were so shocked that ended up not placing the order. Mini bar in our room was locked, called the reception and they asked for the deposit despite having the details of our credit card on file and pre-authorization they processed earlier. Rude, stuck up, unqualified staff. Staff needs more training to call this place a five star hotel. The only nice person working there was Vadim. In addition, like other people have commented here air conditioner is so old that it doesn't really do anything and wifi reception drops out all the time. The positive side is clean rooms and nice view. That's about it.
Rooms are cosy and comfortable even cotton buds are provided. It is located close to Arbat, Moscow's walking street that leads to Kremlin. Staffs are friendly and services are good. The restaurant at the upper deck provides the view of the whole city.
Location: across the street from the Arbat walkway and 10 minute walk to the huge new shopping mall Right near the river so if you like jogging/running outside its perfect 20 minute walk to center of town Good access to visiting points outside of city center esince the hotel is located right on the 2nd ring of Moscow. Starbucks right near the hotel which came in handy :) we ate out every day so cannot rate the food. A beautiful view from the top floors (we stayed at the 20th floor - recommended) Check out the panoramic restaurant on the 22nd floor. realy nice ! Gym well equipped Did not use the spa Overall very nice and good value for money (best priced 5 star hotel around)
this hotel is really perceptional in every things! Breakfast live music service room is very clean and tidy! staff is polite but most of them can not speak English! its better to learn Russian! Location is fantastic! near to every ware
I have returned to this hotel after sometimes and I have found it still very good. The structure is in old, traditional style, but very well mantained and very very clean. Rooms are big and with all comfort. Breakfast is very good, with large choise and high quality. Very close to Arbat. Approx 3 km from Red Square.
