I am owner of a hotel in Turkey and i know how this business works. But i have stayed in this hotel and generally most things in the hotel was old or not working properly. I have to say this will deffinetly be out of my choices when i come back to moscow again. The stuff wasn't very helpfull and the room was not comfortable enough.
We stayed for 5 nights. Overall is good hotel, breakfast was good. The room is big and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. The metro station is just walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.
The Courtyard was a very nice hotel for an English-only speaker like myself. The people at the restaurant and front desk spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location close to the train station.
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. Perfect location, 2-minute walk to metro station for line 2 and 5. We stayed on 4th floor hence the view was no surprise, merely facing vivida plaza. The room is of big size. Breakfast is good, basically have everything you need from scrambled egg, bacon to yoghurt and cold plates etc. Will definitely stay here again when we come moscow next time.
Chose this hotel for a one-night-stay and will definetly return! The staff was very kind and helpful, the hotel is very well furnished and the room was clean and comfortable. No noise, although the hotel is near the Paveletskaya station. Speaking of which, the hotel is a good choice if you're on a short trip and need to get to the airport (Domodedovo) quickly. You can take the aeroexpress train in 5min distance from the hotel. The metro and bus stations are also 3-4min of walking. Red Square and city centre are 3-4 stations from Paveletskaya. Did't try their breakfast but there is a Starbucks right next to the hotel, so you're always good to go with a coffee. Wifi connection was descent, you could upgrade to high speed but the free version was good enough.
Three night stay on business ... perfect hotel in a great location close to metro, Paveletskaya station and our office. Room was spacious and comfortable - great shower! Staff friendly and helpful - very attentive in bar and at breakfast (and accommodating with our rowdiness in the bar one night) Will definitely return.
Very good hotel located in the nice newly developed neighborhood near Paveletsky Railway Station. Corridors and all the public spaces are very clean and new. Rooms are very convenient with comfortable bed, all the necessary amenities including iron and ironing board. Very delicious breakfasts! On the downside the soundproofing is not good if you stay in the connecting rooms.
My husband and I were stayed in the Courtyard hotel for three nights in September. Our room was clean and we did not have breakfast. There are some nice restaurants and coffeeshops close to the the hotel, so we went to one of them every day. The hotel is located close to the city centre and we did not use metro or taxi a lot. Staff was so friendly and english speaking so every time we had a question they were so helpful.
This is budget Marriott version, of course there is not much left from comfort usually offered by the hotel chain. Rooms need to be freshen up especially bathrooms. I have lived in this hotel for few month 4 years ago and wear of the rooms is notisible. Restaurant never was great but now it become a disaster. Try going on different days and order the same dish you get completely different meal. Now look at the photo this is need stew. Near pickle you can see 1 piece around 15 gr of meat. This is all meat I got as part of the meal. I assume remainder chef brought home. This is a joke. Anyway I have asked company to remove this hotel from approved list, This is not good enough for business stay.
We stayed here while on vacation in Moscow and it was perfect. We were looking for a good location, comfortable beds and a room where we can have our own little breakfast and head out to explore the town. Courtyard Paveletskaya gave us just that for a very reasonable price. Our room had a fridge and a teapot, perfect for breakfast. I asked for a high floor before booking and they placed us on 12th floor which was great, we could see Ostankinskaya Teletower and even Kremlin from our room. The hotel is very close to Paveletsky train station which means the streets are always busy but the hotel was very peaceful and not noisy at all. Next time we come to Moscow, this will definitely my hotel of choice since its a very good value.
