Courtyard by Marriott Moscow City Center

We stayed with our daughter who is studying in Moscow. The location of the hotel is perfect for the major sights of Red Square etc - an easy 15-20 min walk down a wide, well-lit and populated main street while the hotel itself is just done a quiet, pleasant side street with a beautiful little church at the end. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, mostly speaking very good English. The hotel provided our tourist certificates for the visa application within the same day of asking (phone call followed up by email). Our rooms were a generous size, clean, comfortable, and quiet at night. The buffet breakfast is wide ranging and while we only used the Gridiron restaurant once, it was lovely to “take it easy” for an evening instead of going out - food and service both excellent. For us this was the perfect hotel for 5 days in Moscow in every aspect and totally convenient for a sensible price. We would definitely go straight back there another time.

We stayed in this hotel when visiting our daughter, who was studying in Moscow. The hotel is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from Arbatskaya station, and walkable distance to Red Square. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were helpful.

The Marriott Courtyard Moscow is extremely well located for those keen to explore the major attractions of Moscow city. The Kremlin, Red Square and associates attractions are within an easy 15 minute walk. Metro stations are also nearby and if you are an avid walker Gorky Park is around 30 minutes away by foot. The facilities are excellent and include an in house restaurant/bar, breakfast restaurant, well equipped gym and conference center. All the meals we had were excellent and the staff were attentive and polite. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel can organize a private driver service to collect you from the airport and I would recommend that you organize this with the hotel well in advance in writing (email) as it was worth the piece of mind.

Convenient location in the central district of Moscow. Not luxurious and famous as other Marriott Hotels. I comfortably stayed there for four days for my business trip. Hotel is within walking distance to the Moscow's prime tourist attraction and Metro stations . Uber shows the correct location but private taxi drivers were unaware of the Hotels location. If clear instructions are not given to them they will take you to the other Marriott.

great recognition for the platinum marriott elites - booked cheapest room possible for the weekend stay (friday - sunday) got small suite on the 3rd floor ;-) both days went for the breakfast - very simple, but everthing you can expect from courtyard and little bit more... also once went to the gym - simple, but enough for circle workout with weights and mashines... very nice stuff, polite, attentive - even trainee which was checking me in was flawless, surprised in a good way... but main thing for the tourist is hotel's location - 15 min walk to the kremlin walls and entrance inside - many nice restaurants around ... best 4* hotel located in the downtown no questions asked! will return next year!

Stayed here with a tour group for 3 nights. The hotel was welcoming and efficient at check-in with a sizeable group. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and it's best to go early as it does get busy and a bit hectic towards 8am. The bar is quiet and expensive, the staff were friendly. The great thing about this hotel is it's position in the center of Moscow and only a few minutes from Red Square etc. There are some nice restaurants with a couple of minutes walk. Only gripe is the wifi which is 'OK' in reception and chargeable in the rooms. This is a Marriott policy and may have been fine ten years ago, but it's almost like charging for towels. Wifi is a basic these days.

comfy room, handy for Red Square and Kremlin, good nearby restaurants, quiet and attractive setting, poor internet in lobby and fee required in rooms for internet. staff helpful and English speaking. =====

Stayed twice within a week for a few days, first room was bigger than the second but both clean with enough room. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. But the location is what sets this hotel apart an easy walk to red square and lots of lovely restaurants in the few blocks around the hotel. We were also impressed to be allowed into our room early after more than 30 hours traveling. This is the second time we have been this lucky both times in was a Marriott, makes me want to pick them again.

The room is very small and shabby. Platinum member cant enjoy ungrade room. In fact, the day before, they were prompted on APP to upgrade to the studio room, but after the credit card had deducted the room rate, they downgraded the room again, which I think was very disappointing. If you are a Marriott senior member, I suggest you do not choose this hotel

The hotel is very well located, with ample rooms, great breakfast, all staff speak English fluently that it is not so common. Room service was great for dinner and not too expensive, maybe the menu is somehow short but food was great.
