As a part of my job, I was sent to Moscow and spend almost a month in this hotel. The staff are really pleasant and always ready to help. The rooms are very nicely designed and clean. Food and drinks are very good. Fast free internet The hotel has many amenities and the most important for me is the GYM, which is open here for 24/7 :-) I recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.
Nice hotel for staying in Moscow: good location ( but for more cold weather better to choose "another coast of the river" for reaching main places by foot) great choice for couples : silent clean rooms, good atmosphere, super staff. P.s. Till tretyakovskaya subway approximately 15 min, till Red Square - 30-35 min by foot.
Location of the hotel is a bit tricky to find. But it is not far from subway. By car will be difficult to get there cause small streets and a lot of turns. Room was good, but we had problem with sounds from hall.
Aquamarine is in walkable distance to the Kremlin, but I would recommend taking the subway one stop, just to avoid having to find a place to cross the highway adjacent to Red Square. The hotel is close to a wonderful pedestrian street, with lots of terrific restaurants and beautiful churches. Moscow in June/July is lovely: long days, good weather. It exceeded all our expectations.
After my cancellation of other hotel who refused my staying without recent registration, aquamarine hotel does know the law and provided.me with my new moscow registration. Very clean, modern and spacious rooms, the breakfast was great, the staff very friendly and the location was perfect with Tretiakovskay metro 10 min walk away. The Zamoskvorechiy area is a great place to stay being the oldest part of moscow with no high rise buildings, plenty bars and restaurants and close to Kremlin etc.. will definitely come back here
It is a modern hotel.. Well equipped. The stuff is welcome and friendly not typical to Moscow people... It is an intim place.. Free internet the rate is low.. The breakfast is well done.. I recomand it. The rooms are well in size.. Design by Bucky Zucker....
Needed a place to stay for 5 nights on a sightseeing tour and selected the Aquamarine based purely on user reviews. Happy to say we were not disappointed. The hotel itself is about 7 years old and nestles amongst some residential and office buildings only a short but pleasant walk to the Novokuznetskaya Metro Station which links easily to other key metro stations. In fact, to walk from the hotel to Red Square/Kremlin is only 20 minutes or so. We stayed from 16-21st Sept. Rooms are modern, nicely furnished and bright. Plenty of space, well-stocked mini bar and double-glazed windows. Bathroom included bath and shower but lacked bath robes and slippers which I'd expect in a 4-star hotel Good size flat screen TV but, as in St Petersburg, English channels are restricted to a few news providers. Breakfast buffet was very impressive. A wide selection of fruits, cereals, breads and hot stuff, all nicely presented. Prior to our arrival, the hotel had been very quick and responsive to a range of queries relating to theatre tickets and pick-up from the railway station. This would also be an ideal hotel for business purposes. I highly recommend the Aquamarine and would stay there again myself..
With a tour operator we visited Russia and stayed in the Hotel Reception, Room and Food were excellent Very nice rooms very clean and well organized Staff were also very friendly I would recommend this Hotel
While not quite as close to the bars and restaurants as I would have liked, the Aquamarine was an excellent hotel. Front desk were extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and were very helpful. Restaurant food was great, nice introduction to Russian cuisine, and friendly and good English speaking waiters who treated us like rock stars. Room was very comfortable, the bathroom was very comfortable with good water pressure and hot water, and breakfast was pretty good. All in all, I highly recommend.
Great location 15 minutes from Red Square, clean well equipped room and friendly staff. Not great views as its down a street a couple of minutes from the river. The breakfast was normal standard for this type of hotel. Reception staff spoke excellent English. My only reservation was that there was no movie channel on the TV, just BBC World which can be very repetitive. However, Premiership football was on whilst I was there, maybe it was Euro sport.
