My husband and I just spent several nights at Hotel Aquamarine as part of a group tour. It was a pleasant stay in all aspects: friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed/room, very quiet, and a short walk to restaurants (maybe 20 min. to Red Square on foot). We really enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet, especially the delicious breads and pastries and eggs cooked to order. I would be happy to stay here again.
Our group recently stayed at this lovely hotel in Moscow. It was very modern with well appointed rooms and a friendly English speaking staff. The breakfast was excellent. It was also very quiet and at the same within easy walking distance of the Kremlin and St. Basil’s.
We staid at this hotel in April. The hotel met all our expectations, in particular for the great location, amble staffs, very good rooms and fast internet services. Defenetly we would recommend this hotel for families or caples.
Having stayed here half a dozen times in the last 4 years or so, I can attest that the hotel is new, well run and great to stay at. The rooms are well designed, clean and comfortable. The staff is well trained and friendly. The breakfast offers a good selection of fresh and good quality food. The conference service is also commendable.
The Staff is what I like most about the hotel. They speak good English; they are warm, helpful, and friendly. I can mention Guzal, Egor, another girl (sorry I forgot her name), and most especially EKATERINA. She was so welcoming right when we checked in and helpful all throughout. One time I panicked thinking that I lost my phone, so I informed the Staff and rushed out to the last place I thought I left it at. When I returned to the hotel, I saw Ekaterina and the door assistant checking the grounds looking for it, thinking that I might have dropped it when I got off the cab. So helpful of her. Good news was, I would later find out that the phone was just in my room, having dropped it under the bed. What a relief! The only downside I can think of is that the metro is not close enough. The nearest Metro is a good 10-minute walk and it's not easy when it is winter, very cold, and the road is covered with snow or becomes slippery. Otherwise, during more favourable climate, it should be no problem.
Stayed here for a week in March 2018. Loved the service! The staff are very friendly, efficient, and helpful. Special mention goes to Ekaterina, Guzal, and Egor. Thanks for making our stay pleasant! :-) The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with good lighting. The hotel was quite near Red Square (2.3 kilometers), approx US$4-5 via Uber taxi. A bit of a walk to the nearest subway station (1.2 kilometers), but I guess, when it is not snowing, it can be a a pleasant stroll. :-) I would recommend it to people who prefer hotels in quieter neighborhoods. There are many places to eat near the hotel: breakfast at Paul, fast lunch at Marukame, afternoon tea/coffee at Viani, dinner at Giovedi. Walking distance to Tretyakov Gallery. Also near the only English/Foreign Language Bookstore in Moscow that I saw.
The hotel has nice modern rooms and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet "backyard" off the main streets and the entrance is slightly hidden on the back of the building complex. Since there is no clear signage from the road taxis sometimes have difficulty finding it, so be prepared to give clear directions or walk to/from the channel.
Stayed here for 4 night on a business trip and had no complaints whatsoever. The rooms are good. Service from reception and other staff great and they are very helpful. The breakfast had a great variety including home made muffins (which were a treat). Not too far from the train station which takes you direct to the international airport and close to my work office so no complaints whatsoever. Overall ideal location to visit places around Moscow as well as for business purposes. Will definitely use this hotel if I was to return to Moscow.
My first visit to Moscow, and I was not sure what to expect. This trip was booked quickly so I was not able to study the language as I would have liked to. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. That was a relief. Rooms were clean and well designed and outfitted. On-site restaurant was very good. Experienced breakfast buffet (varied and plentiful) Room Service, Dinner and Late night eating meals at the bar area. All excellent. I would enjoy staying here when I visit again.
Nice hotel, lovely rooms, very comfortable, staff are super helpful and friendly. Location was good for my client meeting but is too far in my view from the metro especially in winter 😊 - 10 mins walk. Taxi service at hotel is helpful as were told never use local boys as will ‘cheat’ you so pay RUB 900 a time and get taken and picked up. The staff were helpful when the driver was a tad surly and/or did not want to come or forget you were waiting in -3C for an hour!! But it never happened again thanks to the staff Food is OK, hotel food is never bad, breakfast filling and we ate out most nights as you can walk to nearby. Supermarket not too far (near the Ibis hotel) and can get most basics you need there Staff are great, huge thanks to all for sorting out the taxi driver issues and my mobile phone 😊 Egor and the guy from the bar were extremely patient and sorted out my mobile. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly patient with my questions and the taxi driver issue. So huge thanks to the staff So, all in all a great visit and I will stay there again. Hopefully when warmer we can walk to Red Square/Kremlin (20 mins) – not advised in November. You are close to the main attractions and would be a lovely walk when warmer
