Relax on the 2 screened porches off the main floor & bedrooms, read a book on the porch swing bed, enjoy a glass of wine by the firepit, & grill up steaks on the JennAir Grill. Spend your days relaxing or your evenings winding down here! Your trip will surely include visits from our deer friends and the peaceful sounds of our babbling brook.

Great place to stay and make family memories. Love the decor, the attention to detail, immediate response from owner and follow up. We would stay here again.

Little piece of heaven

This is an absolutely GORGEOUS property! It’s decorated so wonderfully and feels upscale yet homey at the same time. The outside is perfect as well although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we normally would because of the glorious heat and humidity that we love in the south. Lol. This place is also convenient to everything!! Great little farmers market close by as well. We enjoyed going into Blue Ridge and had a wonderful dinner at Whiskey and Water at our host, Ashley’s, recommendation. Overall, this is a beautiful place to stay and chill or go out to convenient shopping, restaurants and excursions. Thanks Ashley! We hope to come back and bring our family!!!

Great opportunity to relax and be active for a long weekend

A weekend get-away with a family of 4 (two teens) can be challenging simply because everyone has an opinion on how to spend their time. The McClain's place was perfect because it allowed for space inside and outside for kicking back and relaxing. Screened porches were a hit! It's also conveniently located to get out and about...walked the shops on Main Street, kayaked on Lake Blue Ridge, and had a fishing guide take us on a half-day trip in TN. Loved the restaurant recommendations and tips on local grocery store and trails. Super helpful! The weekend was a win!
