Island Inn of Atlantic Beach

I have been in this property because of cleanliness and no smell for sure they followed the Covid 19 CDC guidelines in sanitizing the rooms. Hopefully they will maintain it . Accessible to where you want to.. few walks to the beach but you can drive with public parking along the beach .

Everything was clean and tidy. We were met outside to check in keeping with social distancing. Check out was just leaving the keys in the room. Staff was very friendly. Great location for everything we wanted to do.

Nice property. It’s older but well maintained and clean. The staff was great. We wanted to get some more beach time upon checkout and the staff member showed us where we could park a bit longer and not be in the way of those checking-in.

The staff was so incredibly friendly & sweet, and the location was perfect. We had the best time!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We arrived right before hurricane Florence and they treated us so well. They even helped us set up our DVD player by lending us an HDMI cable. We had to leave a day early due to the hurricane coming and they gave us a full refund even though we booked for 3 nights. The room with the kitchen was great and we could cook all of our food while staying. It's only 4 blocks from the beach and a 3 minute walk.

Modest, clean and convenient hotel close to beach and attractions.

The staff and the hotel were great. Had a wonderful time and so glad that they were so gracious and accommodating with my pet also. That made my trip even better. House keeping came in cleaned and never had a problem with her being in there. So excited that she was left in her crate and shown some love while they were there. Everyone was so sweet and the rooms are sound proof. I never knew I had dogs in the next room until I walked outside and heard them outside.

There was no table or chairs in the room, they did bring a small table and 2 stools when we asked. The TV was not as big as the pictures on-line showed. The only sink was in the area with the small refrigerator and microwave, not in the bathroom. The coffee was left with only enough for 2 people to have one cup only. Could only plug something in if I unplugged one of their items. No extra outlets. Overall it was clean and the staff was nice. My friend had the room in his name but we made the reservation on my computer with my e-mail.

My stay was great. Although, the layout of the room was a bit puzzling. I assume nothing can be done about it. There was no bathroom sink, so I ended up using the kitchen area sink to wash up in and brush my teeth. It felt a bit unsanitary. A short walk to the beach which was most enjoyable. It is a quiet area and there were no disturbances.

We liked the area. Cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the office staff could use a training on how to treat guests.It would be very helpful when booking a room some sort of maps or more pictures showing the rooms to make a better selection.

Check-in and check-out was easy. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated! We were able to bring our dog with no issues! The pool was open and clean. We loved it and will be staying here again!

We had planned a trip south that happened during Stella the Blizzard...Unfortunately, the weather in Atlantic Beach was cold and windy, but,fortunately, WITHOUT the snow! Enjoyed out stay at The Inn. Staff was very accommadating, as we had to change our dates a couple times. The room (# 112) was a delight, but a tad small. Bring your own soap and shampoo. They use those restroom push button things for soap at the sink and in the shower. I would consider asking for a room further into the hotel as 112 was close to the road which really didn't bother us , as we live next to train tracks! Be careful pulling in as the driveway has a huge upwards pitch from the road and you could bottom out. All ion all , for the price, it worked for us!!

The staff had me checked in with the papeework and key ready before I arrived. The front desk Clark was knowledgeable about the area. The beach was 2 blocks away, it was a lovey place! We will return. Thanks!
