Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Westmount

The continental breakfast was much more than the average meal. There were many items to choose from. It was located in a beautiful area, but too far to walk to Old Montreal.

Best free breakfast in town. Very friendly staff will definitely stay there again

We really enjoyed staying at this location. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was conveniently located near a Metro station as well as markets and restaurants. Staying in a suite with a kitchen was perfect after many days of exploring beautiful Montreal. The only negative was that the decor of the room was very worn and dated - it looked like a mishmash of old Marriott furniture - nothing seemed to go together. The bathroom had really old tile and the toilet didn't function properly. It was like someone tried to update the space but didn't care enough to gut the space and do it properly.

Not Bad. Enjoy the place. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good

Clean, pleasant place. It was great to have a little living room, kitchen and bedroom. Plus a balcony -- though it wasn't a place I'd hang out -- just cement and a leak from air conditioning, it was a nice touch. So helpful to have a fridge in the room, and the microwave popcorn on the table was a nice touch. The elevators were very slow in the morning, everyone had to squeeze in. If I stayed there again, I'd ask for a lower floor room so I could take stairs instead. The breakfast was elaborate (make your own waffles, etc.) and crowded. $75 cleaning fee for pets.

stayed one night, Hotel was clean and had all necessary amenities, but the wifi was little slow.

The room and hotel were very nice and clean. The pool was the perfect temperature and the staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a big bonus!

The lobby furniture was extremely old and dirty. Our first impression was that we had prepaid for a dump. I was depressed immediately. That all changed when we got to the room. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower didn't drain the first day but when I reported it the gentleman at the desk apologized and had it fixed immediately. The hotel is one block from the metro. Breakfast was good. The hotel needs to invest in upgrading the lobby and dining room furniture!

Staff was wonderful .. very accommodating and super attitude. Full free breakfast reminded us of European travel. Nice lounge areas. Balcony for the room was a treat. Only sticking point was the elevators .. there are two and they can use a third. Price/value was very good in comparison to other hotels we considered.

Very pleased! The staff were excellent and very helpful, the breakfast was great, and the suite was super. I certainly will return!

Easy walk to museums, shops, restaurants, movies, McGill, and Mont Royal.

Right on the border of downtown and westmount - this hotel was amazing value. What really made our 4 night weekend was the staff - in particular Karine who worked at the front desk - friendly, professional and authentically sweet !! A few minutes walk to public transport and a 25 min walk to old town - easy access to highways a real deal.

went to GP good location as it was near the Metro (subway) But the showers were horrible, Since it is fully equipped with a kitchen you have to endure the smells of others cooking Staff was helpful & breakfast was good (complimentary) Nice view from the pool area

We went to Montreal on a Wednesday night after skiing for 3 days in Mont Tremblant. The hotel is about two subway stops away from the major bar scene. Yet, this is not a problem because cabs are inexpensive. The staff was great, except the complimentary breakfast ended early (9am), and there was barely anything left around 8:30am.
