Hotel was great. Staff were very responsive and nice. Excellent Breakfast. Pool was nice. There was great coffee and cookies all day at front desk. It is great for family and business. We recommend the hotel.
You can stay in any hotel whether it be a 1 through to 5 star but the most defing part of a hotel is the staff. The staff at the Residence Inn where fantasic - genuine people who really cared. Kudos to Monica, Matthew and Moif and the shuttle drivers. Even though the hotel is 11kn from the airport - you have a number options within walking distance for food (La Cage and Firegrill) and the Cote Vertu Mall. If you are a partying type then a hotel downtown (centre-ville) would be more suitable - it's about 50minutes by taxi and when I went with a friend we had a great night. However as I worked on the TechnoParc - Residence Inn was the best value for location and utilities. Said and Inna made the bar a pleasant distraction and a cut above most other bars. The Pinot Noir was fantastic. I must mention the shuttle service which runs every 30 minutes and found it extremely convienent and saved on taxi costs. Thanks to all the staff for making my stay enjoyable
The hotel is near the airport and many shops and restaurants around it. You have to drive around on the other side of the highway to explore. Unfortunately, we there there for just one night, the day before we flew out of Montreal. Of course, it is about 30 minutes from downtown. So the commute is somewhat messy if you want to be in downtown Montreal. The rooms are somewhat cramped unlike the other Residence Inn's we've stayed at. People here act quickly. In fact there was even a shuttle to the airport at 4.45AM, which is quite rare in most places. Just a word of caution: It is an open parking lot. So if you are travelling in winter when there is heavy snow, watch out! It is not like some of the underground parking lots in downtown Montreal. Overall, a good experience!
The Hotel is nice, but the hair dryer did not work when get hot, the toiled needs plumbing services, bath tub also needs repair. The jacuzzi and pool looked dirty. Only one restaurant with two employees. We waited 1 hour and the server did not take the order. I understand that they had cancelled flights and they were accommodating the passengers, but not the people that were in the Hotel. I guess we went in a horrible time - December after Christmas. The weather was very tough. I do not know if the bus driver for the shuttle to the Airport belongs to the Hotel (the reason I gave the Hotel four stars) but that man needs to retire urgently because he was very racist and upset taking us to the airport. He did not care if we had children with us he did not wait to us to get sit down. My little one got her head hit in the bar while he was making the curve. He was awful (driver for Sunday Dec 31 2017 at 3:00 AM). If he belongs to the Hotel (I am assuming he is not) I would put two stars to the Hotel because that is not proper to way to treat anybody, much less the tourists. Other than that, the receptionists were very friendly. The other bad impression I had from Montreal is that they are not prepared to receive tourists. They are not willing to speak English and they do not try to understand. They just ignore, some even treat very bad.
Great family friendly hotel with close proximity to Walmart and a shopping mall (Cote vertu) and plenty of bars and restaurants. Located close to Airport and major highways. The rooms are clean with functional kitchenette. Property has a medium sized swimming pool. The breakfast has lots of options to choose from plus evening snacks are great. Hotel offers pick up and drop off service to airport and near by offices. Hotel Staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast ladies are just awesome. I have stayed in other Residence Inn's as well across North America but this the Breakfast ladies at this property are by far the best i have experienced. They are very friendly and take genuine interest in the patrons. The bus riders are amazingly friendly.
Stayed overnight. Very professional and responsive staff. Hotel is very clean, quiet and the room looked new. In addition to breakfast, hotel offered complimentary 5 a 7 with light meal & snacks. Easy access to the highway. Would stay again.
This is a solid Residence Inn, perfectly located steps from several shopping areas and restaurants, just off major highways that lead to the airport, downtown, or north. The rooms are clean, but furniture has seen better days. The breakfast is typical and some items can be fresher, but you will be able to find something to eat. I wanted to write this review to highlight hotel staff. They really are exceptionally warm, helpful, and friendly. It started with Matthew at the front desk at check-in, continued with the lovely lady at checkout (sorry I did not catch her name-on 22 Dec). The breakfast ladies are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel like you are staying with friends. They all genuinely seemed interested in the guests. I had the opportunity to speak with Franca, and seriously, she will make you think you have been friends for ever. I have been a road warrior for many many years and a smile, a friendly conversation, and being warmly received changes my whole perspective on the hotels I stay at. This hotel is not perfect, but with such warm, personable staff, one can easily overlook the imperfections.
We had a good stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was adequate for a four person family with a small lounge/kitchen area. It could have used some updating but was clean and fine. The parking was very difficult. There is a garage with discounted parking for the hotel but it is difficult to access and confusing to get from the parking garage to the hotel. There could’ve been better signs and better directions prior to checking in. Location of the hotel is great. Easy walking to many attractions as well as the subway and bus line.
Excellent, excellent, excellent service by Carl! Very impressed with this hotel and how they went out of their way to help my family today. Went above and beyond and responded quickly to our needs. Just awesome!
While a good location for the airport and local business, the hotel rooms and public spaces are getting a little worn. This is a popular relocation hotel so expect a lot of families and the noise associated. It is also pet friendly and there is no shortage of dogs etc. Nice, but if you have pet allergies, you may try elsewhere. The rooms are decent sized with the traditional Residence Inn kitchenette. The breakfast buffet is dismal but a short hallway walk away is the restaurant for the adjoining Courtyard hotel which is quite nice with good food selections. I found the rooms to be worn and many seats in the public areas are as well. Buy your snacks before getting to the hotel because market items are 2-3 times normal retail. The fitness room serves both hotels and is tiny with aging equipment. It should be 4 times the size it is for the size of the property. Very disappointing in that regard. All in all, it is a good hotel with friendly staff but it needs a little upgrading. Lots of dining and entertainment nearby.
