This adorable boutique hotel is a MUST stay!! A real hidden gem. We have just spent 3 nights here while in town for a gymnastics competition with my daughter and have only lovely things to say. The rooms are a very good size, and clean. Beds are so comfortable. Every morning a basket of baked goods and juice are left outside your door to enjoy while you relax and make yourself either tea or coffee in the contemporary living spaces adjoining the rooms. The staff are so sweet! Albert has been so gracious and helpful. This area of St. Denis Street is perfect for a walk, shopping and also incredible food finds. We will be back!!!

LOVE the location, steps away from the University so many wonderful coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The Metro train is across the street and only two stops to old Montreal which is a MUST see. Visit the Notre Dame, walk over to the port, drink wine in old winebars, eat wonderful fondue, fun shopping. The manager of the hotel is from France and we had a wonderful conversation with him - he is very knowledgeable about the area and will make great recommendations. We will return!

Don't judge a book by its cover? The outside doesn't look like much, nor the lobby, and neither does the neighborhood. But the rooms are big, clean, modern, and with a bathroom that is equal. Coffee machine, Mini-Fridge, chocolates, nice toiletries, and a rather small LCD TV, but we didn't come to Montreal to watch Canadian TV. The youthful street is packed full of bars, restaurants, breweries, and a strip club. The metro station is just 1 block away. But the best part? Every morning a lovely continental breakfast is delivered to your door! A basket filled with pastries and juices; a different variety each day. The hotel always ordered more than necessary, so always placed the leftover pastries out for anyone to take. Late night snack? $189/night isn't cheap, but in American dollars thats about $150/night, which is reasonable for the quality of room and service, anywhere.

Great boutique hotel On St. Denis with plenty of restaurants and bars. Albert on reception very warm and welcoming. A basket of pastries and juice delivered to the room every morning. The rooms are sleek with great cabinetry, drawers that are large. Robes. Very comfortable bed and we had 3 pillows each! Windows that open and controllable air and heat. Huge flat screen TV with all the channels. Perfect water temperature in the shower. Great lighting and the most electrical outlets ever. Very comfortable and quiet. I would recommend this hotel for couples. The WiFi is fast and strong. I am definitely coming back.

I booked for Sept 2017 on Expedia by mistake one year ahead. We arrived after 20 hours travelling late one night in Sept 2016 ... how embarrassing! M Albert must have guessed and kept one (lovely) room just in case and found another for us the next night. How excellent. Can't wait to go back. Now taking great care with dates!

A little gem in St. Denis, great staff, clean and well decorated rooms, expresso machine in each room, breakfast served to your room in the morning. What more do you want ? I’ve been coming here since 2010 and it’s definitely my favourite small hotel in Montreal !

Lovely hotel in a convenient location, steps away from the metro. The Latin quarter is so lively...the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars, theatres and clubs. The people who work there are wonderful. I found it difficult to sleep my first night (my room faced the street), they kindly offered to move me to a quieter room for the rest of my stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable..and appear to be recently renovated.

I had a comfortable and convenient stay here. My suite on the second floor was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed, teriffic shower, charming breakfast basket, fridge, bottled water, and reliable wireless internet. Parking was easy in a nearby garage. Walkable to Place des Arts and a major metro station. Restaurants and cafes outside your door. Gose, my host, was very kind and helpful.

We stayed here last weekend for 3 nights. It is a small hotel, about 8 rooms I think. We absolutely loved our stay. Our room had a bedroom, bathroom with a large shower, a sitting room with couch and chair and a large balcony with tables and chairs which was a pleasant surprise. Everything about the place was wonderful. A breakfast basket of muffins, croissants, juice etc. was at our door each morning. It is located in a very busy section of the Latin quarter teeming with bars and restaurants. Not sure if the front of the hotel gets any noise but it was pure silence at night in the back half. Le Relais Lyonnais was also just a stones throw from a metro hub which connects 3 lines so it was so easy to head out to see other things in Montreal. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a contractor look at the side railings on the balcony. Though there is no need to lean against them because our balcony was so expansive they felt as if they could be secured a bit better.

This is a small botique hotel in a vibrant area of the city. It is very close to the university, and the streets at night are lively. The rooms have been remodeled and are first class if a bit smaller than a big chain hotel. The support staff is very friendly and quick to please. There are some excellent restaurants nearby including a cooking school. You are a short walk from old town and the metro is less than a block away.
